It set my bar for Teriyaki and velveted Chicken or Beef is NOT it. Velveting is a Chinese technique and NOT a Seattle-Japanese technique. Their portions are good and they are generous and eager to provide what you need. I always feel welcome and never leave hungry. I am going to try a house specialty now. I've had their Sushi, Teriyaki, Teriyaki-Don Bowls and their Egg Drop Soup. I like it. I go there frequently. I would've given it 4 stars but sometimes I have to get my own Sriracha Sauce or refill my own water. That won't keep me from going back or tipping well. Everyone is nice and well intentioned; just not trained well for true "Full Service" restaurant hosting and service. It's great for families and inexpensive date nights. The Mongolian beef was not your normal Mongolian beef- if anything it was just beef and veggies(onion, zucchini, snap peas, carrots), I say skip the pork fried rice up charge because it was also a miss. There was barely any pork bits, and just tasted like soy sauced rice. They missed the mark on that for sure. The thing that saved our dinner was the orange chicken- came out great- and had a little kick.

However, we gave it another shot and it's gotten a lot better. I highly recommend giving it a try. The food is delicious, reasonably priced and large portions. My only complaint is they need to work on bringing back their original egg flower soup. This one is good, but I would never get it to go because you can tell it's got too much gelatin and whatever is added it's a little pink, but overall it's good. Anyone who quit going needs to give them another chance because it's definitely our favorite Chinese food in town. Let's get this family establishment huge again like it used to be.
