I also appreciated that the inspector who gave me my quote encouraged me to come up on the roof with him and discuss the situation. I got the impression he was more knowledgeable than the other roof inspector I brought out to give me a quote. There were some scheduling hiccups due to circumstances outside anyone's control, but once they got started they completed the whole roof in one day as expected, with the fascia work happening on two separate days before and after (it had to be done in two phases bracketing the roof installation). The work looks good, and the warranty they provide gives me peace of mind.

When I went on the roof after the replacement I noticed they did not replace the turtle vents, the same hail dented ones are still there, but they were billing me for the vents. After calling getting those taken off in the same conversation they added charges for roofing around my swamp cooler which was there when they did the assessment, evaluation and estimate, there was zero reason for there to be unknown cost regarding the swamp cooler. And these costs were only added after I called about the vents NOT being replaced. I felt that they had a specific dollar amount they were trying to get. As another person said here, they were out to get the most for doing the least. They were trying to bill for things that were not replaced and I am still mad, like why didn't you just replace the vents and we would have paid for them! Instead of not replacing them and trying to have me pay for work that was not done. Boils down to all the trust being totally broken. Could have had a customer for life.
