First off worst customer service ever. The lady who helped me who was also the owner was really rude when I asked her to help me find my pictures she got snobby and literally asked if I paid for them and then sent me in circles trying to find them. Second, I've been to a few of the photo shoots for kidsports kidsports and YMCA , and the photographer is very impatient and very rude to the parents. He should not be working with kids. Third I feel like they rush to finish everything so the quality is kinda crappy it's like they don't look over what they edit and just move on. And if they are rude in the field I don't even want to know how they treat their employees. I deffinetly do not recommend this company. read more

Horrible experience with sports pictures - and not the first time. Photographer, who is also the owner, is impatient, rude and condescending. He should not be working with children! His complete lack of professionalism is disappointing. In the future, if my children's teams are to be photographed by Moderne, I will make sure to hold a different picture day with the team, so that I do not have to subject my children to this man, nor give him any of my money. Also a warning, photographer will alter your pictures. On two separate occasions, they pasted another child's eyes over my daughter's closed eyes - making her look completely different. When approached about it, they told me that they would never do that. However, my daughter has bright blue eyes and blonde eyebrows, and the doctored picture had dark brown eyes and black eyebrows. Kidsports had Moderne studios take team and individual pictures for the 2015 fall season, Moderne studios like to brag on how fast they are...well, its to bad they don't take a little extra time and make sure it's going to be a good picture....very disappointing..you're better off the hire a independent photographer. Absolutely the worst "professional" business I have ever had the misfortune of trusting. Start to finish, terrible experience. Exceptionally condescending, arrogant photographer and staff, arrived 25 minutes late to a toddler shooting, no apology, nothing! 40 minutes after our appointment we finally started, photographer made no attempt to hide his disdain and impatience for my crying two year old. Absolutely no attempt was made by any staff member to apologize or make it right. DO NOT trust your memories to this profoundly unprofessional business. read more

This business is a great family business great sports picts of my grandson playing at uo stadium last year also my grandson came home on leave last holiday season from the army they were closed for the week but came in just to take my grandsons picture 3 grandsons graduation picts taken there and my 8 grandchildren have there portrait taken for me every other year and will continue to do so they are wonderful Shirley read more

Well, I've only had great experiences with Moderne, all four times for soccer pictures. The photos are high quality and they even give the coaches a free picture. Every time I've dealt with them, on the field for pictures, on the phone for appointments, and in their studio for picture pickup...they have been extremely nice and courteous. I believe that if your team is fully prepared for picture day, then you will have no problems. They ARE on a tight schedule.....taking pictures for several teams in one day. Sadly, I had the same experience with these folks at a Kidsports photo shoot. Firstly, they don't take group/team photos anymore....so you end up with a 'team' photo comprised of several kids and the coaches cut and pasted and Photoshopped together in front of a ridiculous background that you have no part in choosing. But even before the pictures arrived looking like a bad joke, when I expressed my disappointment at the time of the photo shoot over the team not being able to pose together as an actual team, the gal working there told me - in an incredibly unprofessional manner (and that's prettying it up quite a bit) that if I didn't like it, I should pay them more and schedule a separate team visit at another time. I should have run there, but....sigh. Additionally, the pictures and magnet are cut crooked, and the individual poses had a bunch of the boys looking distorted and unnatural. I have left this company several messages (I've yet to be able to reach a live person via phone yet) with the hopes of at least having our payment refunded. I will update this review when there is a resolution to that effort. Please, if you encounter these folks when having pictures taken with your children, carefully consider these reviews before giving them any of your money...and trusting them with your memories. read more

I would have to say I wish I could give them no stars. They came out and took the pictures for our kids ports team. They were dealing with younger kids but all seemed well there. We received our photos in the mail right away, (at the time I was impressed) we had some family come in and shared photos with them (to keep) after they left we noticed they had misspelled our last name, again not a huge deal I would just follow up with them the next business day. I called and spoke with a woman and explained what had happened and first thing she says is "Well we just typed what you wrote so if you wrote it wrong there's nothing we can do" As if I would miss spell my last name of over 5 years. Quickly she realized it was on them and said she would reprint them right away then call me to pick them up. (I was instantly annoyed because now after I've already paid, now I have to spend my time to drive there and get them.) She then quickly stated, I needed to bring all the photos back also. I told her we had passed some out to family already she replied, "well we will only give you what you give us, it's your responsibility to check the pictures before you hand them out." I abruptly told her how is this my problem when you made the mistake on your end? I asked to speak to a manager or owner and she fired back "I am the owner and manager." So to say from all of that with the boom of people getting into photography I would highly recommend you use someone else local and this company "modern Studios" have seen to find any customer service.
