Not happy with my laser hair removal sessions from here. I paid for 5 sessions for a Brazilian, I understood that it wouldn't get all the hair as five treatments is not usually enough. However, my issue is that apparently they consider a Brazilian to be only the front. No where else is that considered a Brazilian. It is crucial that I get a call or email back please. Hi, I've called a few times about a deposit that was made for an appointment that I wasn't you sure about. I was told I needed to make a deposit for my appointment to be scheduled. I had let the RN and consultant know that I wasn't too sure about my availability so I'd call back to book it. However I did feel a little pressured to do it because i was told I could reschedule anyway. I understand that you have a no refund on services policy but I did not receive any services or plan to. My statement came in the mail already with the $100 deposit stated. I would really hate to pay for this without receiving some type of refund. I doubt anyone likes to give money away for free. Would I PLEASE be able to get help with this. read more

I recently went in with my mom for her appointment, I used to work in the medical field and it was always normal to be swamped so I was expecting a longer wait time and a busy lobby, I figured that's kind of normal for this type of business too. But I was pleasantly surprised that we were called back pretty fast, the receptionist was so sweet when we got there and the nurse we had was incredibly patient... with me lol I'm a worry wart and I had more questions about what was being done than my mom. But she answered everything with a smile and made me feel comfortable with her doing a procedure on my mommas face! Check out was fast and my mom loves the results! I love this place and travel all the way from Sacramento to see Melinda! I will not go anywhere else! She is amazing and really listens to your goals. I absolutely love this place. The ladies at the front desk are always super nice & greet me as soon as I walk in. They offer tons of different services & products but have NEVER pressured me into buying or trying anything I wasn't sure about. They definitely don't try to sell me on services I am not there for but will educate me on a service if I bring it up. I recently had one of my routine services not give me the results I usually get & because of my work schedule I definitely waited too long to call & talk this over with them. I wanted to wait until all my sessions have been completed before writing about my experience. *Please note* Everyone is different and gets different results; this is just mine. I have medium toned skin with dark hair. I came here about a year ago and did the laser hair removal for my underarms. This included five treatments. I read about how the treatments were before purchasing, and took the chance. It has been over eight weeks since my very last treatment and here are the results: I ended up with four visible burned marks. No more than 20% of the hair on my underarm has actually been removed. The customer service here is what I like to call "bubbly" since a few of them are very outgoing, almost like a car salesperson. Due to all the burned marks I had received I would have given one star, but the people there were nice. A friend of mine was getting the same treatment around the same time, but she did her treatments somewhere further north. I don't exactly know where, but her results were much better than mine. Hope this helps anyone considering laser hair removal. Just remember, everyone is different. I came into this knowingly, but I am unsatisfied because not only did I come out of it with dark spots around my underarm, but there is still plenty of hair left. read more

I got Botox from Gifty Aidoo NP. She is so kind, friendly and helpful. I have migraines, TMJ and arthritis in my neck. Having the Botox injections took so much pain and pressure off of my jaw, forehead and neck. Having fewer wrinkles is also nice. I would highly recommend Gifty, she is awesome. read more

The injectors have been great. But management leaves much to be desired. First of all, I never received credit for my referral sources--FOUR referrals.The person at the front desk always had an excuse as to why I never received my credit and always said "next time". Of course despite it being the next time, I never received my credit. I had a PRP scheduled and was canceled 12 hours prior to my appointment. I took Friday and Monday off of work, purchased Arnica, drank my gallon of water that entire week, ate an entire pineapple the day before--as instructed--that made my tongue raw, then had to FIGHT for my deposit refund. I told the director Natalie that if I didn't receive my refund I demanded to be paid THEIR late cancellation policy fee of $125.00. Excuse after excuse. I FINALLY received my deposit but did not receive the late cancellation fee. Not acceptable. I'm pursuing this with The Department of Consumer Affairs. It's too bad management sucks--er, the director. Because the ladies who work there are all great. read more

(1 star is being generous but it doesn't allow for 0) Several issues with this salon. The first and MAIN being the horrible customer service. There is not a lot of communication with staff nor with the customer. I was being seen for laser hair removal and each person I seen had a very different technique. (who knows what was the right/wrong way...) After one of my sessions the girl said "see you next month!" but when I went downstairs to make my next appointment, the receptionist said the next session needed to be 8 weeks out. (which I have NEVER done) I explained that I did not want to wait that long and another receptionist stepped in and said in order for the sessions to be effective they needed to be 8 weeks apart otherwise it was a "waste of a session". VERY frustrating because this was the first time I've heard about this and I was already 4-5 PAID sessions in! Sooooo were the last 4 a waste??? I ended up calling the manager later that week to explain my frustration and she told me the girl misspoke but she could understand my frustration and offered me a free session which I appreciated. Come to find out that session was never documented or added to my account and I had to have the entire conversation over again to the staff at my next appointment. About a month ago I received a text message saying their message service was having issues and please excuse. Today, I received a message reminding me of my appointment for tomorrow. (they use to send the reminder a week out in advance) I called right away to reschedule and the "office manager" Stephanie was a nightmare! At first she said "let me see what i can do for you" only to tell me that it would be a $50 fee because I was not within the 48 hour window. I explained I just received the text reminder today and called right away. I explained the reason i was canceling was because it was my time of the month and she said that was no reason to cancel. (cool, maybe not for you) Stephanie the "office manager" was laughing and almost mocking the situation. The lack of professionalism is disgusting and I no longer feel comfortable undressing with this salon and entrusting my health and body with them. Absolutely look elsewhere. read more

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. This place is the worst place anyone could ever go to!!!! So unprofessional and I'm sure it doesn't meet the state board medical requirements. There is constantly no dr present during medical procedures and constantly new staff working there and now I completely understand why nobody lasts working at this place!! This place is a joke!!!! I've been here awhile ago. The lady burnt me twice on my leg when I asked her to please not laser behind my knee since I have very little hair growth she went over it twice and burnt me. She didn't listen. The lady who signs you up for laser is two faced nice to your face and after you sign up for a package she's a devil because she knows your stuck. If your 10 mins late they try to cancel your appt after driving 30 minutes. They are the worst plan I've been and worst service I remember than even years later and want to ensure this review is out there for people to see and make sure they think twice about spending their hard earned money at a horrible place like this. Bad service bad quality and after 8 laser treatments seems like it didn't do much at all! Have no fear Kate is AMAZING at doing Botox! She made happen exactly what I wanted, no more no less. I wanted 24 units (because that's where there is a price drop). She used about 16 on my frown lines and injected a drop here and a drop there - and Wellá. The difference is so subtle my husband of 20 years did not even notice and I never told him, but he's been saying I look beautiful. There's a subtle change, which is what I wanted. My frown lines are gone and my forehead lines are gone, also my eyes have a gentle lift and are more open. It was under $250 and I'll repeat the process in about 4-5 months. It's too bad this place doesn't invest in some organizational interpersonal communication skills and customer service training. They're horrible! I was referred to ALC from my amazing aesthetician (not with ALC) so that I could purchase the Obagi skincare line on one of their open house sales. The place was an absolute zoo by 5:30pm (open house started at 5:00pm). I waited in a line to make my purchase for almost 45 mins. 30 mins. of which, I don't think I moved at all. When I dared to ask about Latisse once I got to the register/computer, Gwen shut me down quickly by saying that "It was while supplies last and they were sold out." I found out from the Latisse pharmaceutical rep. that ALC "forgot" to place their order for the "Buy 1, Get 1 Free" promotional products. Seems very shady to advertise that you have something when you know that you didn't even order it to begin with. Once I purchased the Obagi, I was told to call to schedule a consultation so that I could obtain instruction for use. When I called, they tried to tell me that I'd have to wait 2+ wks. to come in. Are you kidding me? Who wants to spend almost $400 on skincare to let it sit around for 2 wks.?! When I suggested that I would just go to my aesthetician for instruction, they put me on hold and somehow found an appt. for me. Today, I went in for my instruction and Nikki was very professional. I could not believe that the front desk actually "yellled" to her that her next appt. was there while we were still in consultation! With no time to take my "before" photos, Gwen ended up "squeezing" me in to take them. While I was trying to schedule my next consultation appt. with Nikki, Gwen literally yelled across their lobby for me to "get over here" for my picture to be taken. It takes a lot to shock me, but Gwen's unprofessionalism managed to do so. I can't believe they're in business. I don't know if I'll be going back in for the secondary consultation. I am soooo disappointed in this place. I fully believe that there laser does not work. I have very fair skin and fairly dark hair which they ensured me was a great thing for laser hair removal but after 10 treatments I have seen ZERO results. Not to mention they cancelled my last two appointment, one 10 minutes before my appointment time after I had already arrived. For both of those appointments I did not receive a call back to reschedule as promised. These treatments are not cheap at all so with no results and no customer service, I will not be returning. Although I liked the laser treatments I received here, I do not think I will be coming back after my recent experience. My sister and I made our laser appointment a month ahead, and this would have been our third time purchasing the laser maintenance package. When we walked in we were greeted by the receptionists as usual and told that we can wait upstairs for our appointment. We finished with our appointments and went back downstairs to pay...only to be told that they have increased their prices. The package that we had purchased twice before for $170 was now $225. Neither of the receptionists told us BEFORE our appointment of the price increase that they established only a few days earlier...this is a very shady business tactic and we were pretty taken aback. They have my email address and phone number, so they could have easily made us aware of the price increase before our appointment. If they had let us known beforehand, we would have still been customers at Advanced Laser Clinic. read more

I recently got lip injections with juvederm with Joseline Johnson. I'm extremely happy with my results. Unlike other places I have gone to, I felt like she really took her time with me and listened to exactly what I wanted my lips to look like.
