We put our name on the list and had to wait 10 mins to get seated. We didn't mind since they seem to have more staff to handle the crowd. We got seated and within a minute or so, our waitress came over to greet and take our order. We got the combo 3 with Dungeoness crab seasoned with garlic butter medium. Added 2 garlic noodles and 2 side of rice. Overall, I got my crab fix and my wife had her shrimp fix. Our waitress Soledad was great. Very friendly and attentive. The bag arrived much spicier than expected, and my friend was barely able to eat it. When we brought it up, our server immediately insisted it was the correct spice level rather than checking with the kitchen or trying to find a solution. She also assumed I would finish the entire bag myself, when I explained we share one, and would have to charge us extra for a new bag or small side portion for my friend but it was not our mistake. What disappointed me most was the lack of service recovery. There was no apology, no effort to investigate, and no attempt to accommodate the situation. Mistakes happen, but good customer service is about how they're handled. Unfortunately, I left feeling dismissed rather than helped.

The waitress explained items on the menu that we had questions on with no problem. She was very attentive and welcoming. The Food was the best and the Margarita flight was worth every penny and was completely on point! I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back. Don't let the outside stop you. You will be happy you gave it a chance. The atmosphere was also very welcoming and comfortable and there were a lot of TV's everywhere so we were able to watch the game from anywhere we wanted to sit.

But once you walk in, it's a completely different experience! I ordered the sizzling rock with chicken, steak, shrimp, cactus, salsa, cheese, and even a little piece of chorizo. It came out sizzling and smoking, which made the presentation so fun! The flavors were delicious, and it came with rice and beans. I also tried the ginger mint drink, and it was SO refreshing! Definitely something I'd order again. The only thing that was a little off for me was the rice--it had a slight taste that I didn't love. Other than that, everything was really good. Fun tip: They also do a really cool birthday celebration! You get to wear a HUGE sombrero while they bring out a giant sparkler. Such a fun way to celebrate and make a memorable experience. Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out if you're in Modesto!

I was excited when I found The Bussdown on Instagram last year and have been waiting in anticipation to try their food ever since. I noticed they started posting on their feed again and was excited when they announced that they'd be open from 2pm-7pm. I attempted to call in my order but had no response. Determined to try it, I drove to their site and saw they were still taking orders, so I got in line. When it was my turn to be helped, I was informed their fryers were down. They had other options, so I ordered the brisket, candied yams, + mac and cheese, and for dessert, caramel biscoff banana pudding. The total came out to $31. The lady that took my order said it would take about 20 minutes. 40 minutes later she informed me that they were just finishing up with my order, but they ran out of caramel for the dessert. When I finally got the food 5 minutes later, I took it to my car and gave it a try. I was disappointed off the bat. Apart from the food being lukewarm/on the colder end, I felt like the price I paid was not worth what I got. The Mac and cheese was not like anything I've tried before. It tasted like it had gorgonzola cheese which was not what i had expected/enjoyed. I thought the yams were tasty but lacking a punch. The brisket was tender but either needed to be seasoned a bit more or have more bbq sauce. The biscoff banana pudding was primarily Bananas, whipped cream, biscoff cookie and butter with a little bit of banana pudding. I really wanted to like the food but was disappointed with the whole experience.

I loved the omelet and crepe stations, two of my favorite things for breakfast. There was plenty of good options to eat. I personally dont eat pork and would love non pork options for sausage and bacon but you can't cater to everyone's desires, I get it. None of the desserts blew me away but the over all meal was pleasant. The only thing that really bothered me was I told the waitress it is our first time here so how does it work. She said you can just start getting the good and bring to your table and she would get our drinks. I said what drinks can we get (as in whats included in the buffet). I had no idea we would get charged extra for every drink otherwise we would have stuck with water or whatever was included with the buffet price. We ended up spending more than $40 just on orange juice. I could have bought 8 gallons for that price. I would have never paid for all those refills if I knew I was going to be charged. I thought it was all included. There was no prices posted anywhere and there was no menus because its a buffet. That really bothered me for a long time and I wanted to ask for a refund for that amount to be honest. Life happened and I never got around to it. Other than that I did like the experience and would definitely do it again. I just wish they explained the drink pricing before you order. So please ask questions before your order your drinks, otherwise you might get charged for something you didn't know you was getting charged for. Now go enjoy, and you can thank me later

After a few bites I added Tabasco and Cholula, and it took an already great sandwich to another level. The homemade chicken soup was flavorful and comforting, and a cold Corona with salt and lime rounded everything out perfectly. One thing I really appreciate about Harvest Moon is the atmosphere. It is peaceful--almost tranquil. You hear conversations around the room, but they are the kind of quiet chatter that makes a place feel alive without ever feeling loud. It is comfortable, unhurried, and the kind of environment where you can simply enjoy your meal and be present. A special thank you to Johnny in the kitchen for putting together such a great meal. It shows when someone takes pride in what they do. Shout out to Lindsey for the friendly, attentive service. She made sure everything was just right without ever making me feel rushed. And thank you to Lyssa behind the bar. She was so busy I actually had to ask who Lindsey was, but despite juggling everything going on, she still took the time to make me feel welcome. The menu isn't too big but they do have a menu for lunch and a separate menu for dinner, the dinner menu has a bit more offerings. The prices are a little on the high side but the quality and taste of the food justifies those prices. I have been trying to come to this food truck for a month or so now but I'm usually in the area on the says they are closed which are Sunday through Tuesday. They also are only open for dinner on Saturdays from 4pm - 8pm. I happened to pass by during dinner hours on a Friday and immediately stopped. The dinner menu had a variety of items such as fettuccine alfredo, penne romano, penne pesto, shrimp linguini, chicken parmigiana, chicken marsala and many other pasta/chicken & fish dishes. They also had a kids menu, various sides and drinks. I decided against getting my basic fettuccine alfredo and instead got the penne pesto, I was told that the pesto is made daily and it's one of the most popular dishes on the menu. The penne pesto was so delicious, the sauce was creamy, nutty and had such a good flavor and was not too oily. The pasta was cooked to perfection and was topped with fresh parmesan and parsley. I definitely could taste that the pesto was made from scratch. The dish also came with fresh baked garlic bread that was so divine. It was light and airy, had the right amount of garlic flavor and tasted even better dipped in the pesto sauce. Overall, I'm so glad that I gave this place a try and I will be back when I'm in the area and craving pasta. I now have two amazing Italian food trucks that are my go-to in the Central Valley, Braulio's did not disappoint!
