The Parking situation isn't ideal, but it's nothing that would keep me from coming here. When we came in to be honest it wasn't a super friendly environment, it felt like the people who were working there were almost bothered by us coming in. Aside from feeling kind of unwelcome, we got started on the paperwork while Gavin was finishing up with another client. The paperwork was easy to understand and didn't take too long to go through. Then Gavin showed us the jewelry options, there were plenty to choose from and he was very knowledgeable of all of them. I decided I'd like to go first. He prepped his station and we were ready to go. The Shen men piercing can be helpful for anxiety management because it goes on a pressure point. The specific pressure point can be slightly different for everyone. Gavin took his time to test and find just the right spot for each of us. Very thorough, respectful, and kind. He explained every step of the process which definitely helped us all feel more comfortable. He cleaned his station after each one of us and was very professional the entire time. I love my piercing! I feel like the service itself was priced fairly and Gavin made it a great experience. I would recommend Gavin to anyone and everyone! It was quick and easy to make an appointment on their website, and it didn't require a security deposit either. I arrived to get my conch piercing at 5:30 pm and I was out by 6 pm. I was a little nervous and had lots of questions about the piercing itself and the after care. I also had not gotten a piercing in years, so I was worried it would be painful. They were kind and allowed my two friends to come to the back with me to hold my hand (I know... I'm a scaredy cat). Mitch walked me through everything that was going to happen- for example, "okay, you're gonna feel a small pinch first and then you'll feel some pressure." He also said that my only job was to keep breathing. He had me take one deep breath in and then exhale out right as he did the piercing, too. As you can tell, the team is very patient and kind here. This is a great spot for anxious girlies or for your first time getting a piercing. Their piercing and jewelry pricing is all fair. My conch piercing costed $45 plus the 14K gold jewelry I chose. Unlike other shops, they had a huge selection of yellow gold and rose gold options that were actually cute- flowers, stars, moons, etc. On average, I saw the stud earrings were about $60-170 each. They also tallied up my total prior to actually getting the piercing, so there weren't any surprises at the end when I paid. They sent me home with a detailed after care guide too. I've already told friends and family about this shop being a great option for them when they come visit Utah.

I lost my septum ball a week after receiving my piercing, but I was able to flip it. Derek was nice to offer a extra septum ball for free and was accommodating to get me in ASAP. I've been rocking my septum piercing ever since and I have no regrets getting my piercing in this location. I learned my lesson after losing the septum ball and I tend to tighten it every now and then. 10/10 recommend Derek and his professionalism. Thank you for making me feel badass! :)

my partner and i came across this place after being disappointed by a piercing salon nearby, and we…read moreare so glad we did! i wanted to get my septum re-pierced since i had to take it out after an injury a couple years ago. sas offered to try and recover the old piercing and she actually was able to, saving me months of healing compared to getting it completely re-pierced. my partner got two cartilage piercings in both ears and our piercer took extra time to make sure everything was even and appropriate for her ear anatomy. also, they use medical grade titanium for the jewelry they pierce you with which is so awesome because i have bad reactions to surgical steel jewelry. we left very happy campers.
