I came in as a walk in. Paid upfront first. The gentleman went back and informed the ladies, but it sounded like they were arguing. I'm not sure for what though. Made my mom very uneasy. She got her massage done. After that, delete it then proceeded to ask her for a tip so we left a tip, but we were unaware of that. We are obligated to pay a $15 tip. We paid it fine but it is crazy because we didn't get told that before hand. Had we known that I would have told him to charge it altogether. Poor communication. Not coming back here. read more

Saw this spa on Groupon. Before I purchased, I called to check their availability for Saturday, Feb. 28th at noon or 1 pm. The gentlemen I spoke with told me they'd honor the same price advertised on Groupon for a 60-minute couples massage so I made the appointment for myself and female companion. Upon arrival, I explained to the woman at the desk about the Groupon discussion and told her the price that was advertised. She asked me to show her the Groupon so I located it and showed it to her. I paid for it in cash then she directed us to the room where our couples massage was to take place. The accommodations were fine to my companion and I. They were more like beds than massage tables but we were fine with that. Once our massages began, the male and female masseuses spoke in their native language the entire time. During our massages, my female masseuse informed me that it would be an additional $10 each for CBD oil which we didn't request. Her phone rang loudly during our massages. She didn't specifically answer but it was obvious she was texting someone during my massage. We both requested deep tissue massages but agreed our experiences were subpar. Once concluded, both masseuses were awaiting us with the expectation of tips. I tipped both of them based upon our experience. They appeared to be disappointed as were we with the massages. Both of us have had massages domestically and abroad and agreed this couples massage was completely underwhelming. It was neither relaxing, nor therapeutic. As mentioned, they spoke incessantly the entire time. Not sure if this is how they treat all customers but we'd never return nor recommend this spa to anyone. read more

I came across a good deal on Groupon for a couples massage which was only an hour but because both Cindy and WeiWei did such an amazing job of course we added another 30 mins plus CBD oil and OMG it was all worth it. It was definitely our first time ever experiencing this and it won't be our last. They really know what they are doing and are very nice about you letting them know if they can go a little softer also the front desk lady was very nice and understanding. I went to Modu because they were offering a Groupon-style deal. The massage was mediocre. The massage therapist just placed a sheet over my body and gave a 30-minute massage that briefly covered my back, legs, and arms. The hot stones were only used for about 3 minutes. At the end, she demanded a mandatory $15 tip, which I felt was inappropriate. Honestly, I don't plan on returning. Instead of feeling relaxed, I walked out feeling sore. read more

The person that did my massage don't even work there. She left for 15 mins during my one hour massage to get a hot stone. I paid $50 for a FULL BODY but she didn't even do my arm, my shoulders and my legs. Also, they have a minimum tip of $15 AND they force it out of you. Terrible experience would not do it. read more

Massage was wonderful deal, got talked into 2 hour session for future daughter in law and I. When paying we came out to a sign that read $15 tip per hour and I was asked to pay cash, well I just had card so I was told to pay at least 40.00 tip for the 2 hours so the 120$ 2 hour session turned out to be almost 300$. I was able to get cbd oil included free. They were very friendly but I do not appreciate getting told what I should tip. So beware of extra charges read more

I was there yesterday. The receptionist told me the price of 1 hr massage. Than she led me to the room. As as I was getting ready to undress the male massage therapist opened the door without warning. And I told him I'm not ready yet. I got a very average massage. ( I m saying it this because, I m a former one) Since he has also language barrier , I didn't talk much. so one time he said something twice, I didn't understand. He left the room came back with hot stones.. Later he went to wash his hands.When he came back, he had a bad smell in his hands either the lotion or I don't know.. I got kind of uncomfortable with the smell. so when I came to the receptionist while the massage therapist behind me, she demanded me to pay $10 more because it's one hour massage, she said... ( I told her that it is allready one hour massage I bought.) anyway. She insisted to get $10 more. I said "you did not tell me at the beginning now you're telling me now"? She raised her right hand in the air towards me, she showed me the door to leave !. That was not nice.. Anyhow, I am writing this review to warn others.. Be prepared to face Surprises at the end.. If I would like to sum it up, I came all the way from Henderson, got stressed out on the traffic, I had two people who had language barriers. I got treated poorly at the end.. Astonishing service. The massage was short and did NOT go deep enough. The masseuse thought I couldn't speak chinese, and I heard her tell the owner that she forgot to do my thighs, when I brought it up they said I was lying and that I would need to pay extra... At the end, I decided to let it go and just pay 18% tip, however, the OWNER decided it wasn't enough and charged me 20% tip and her only excuse was "this is normal and expected". I am not fighting about the amount I needed to pay, but the principle that the OWNER changed the tip amount that I wanted to give by her own accord. Initially I wanted a massage and saw that Modu did cupping so I booked an appointment. When I get to the appt. I was told to pay before services (). I pull out my Amex card the owner tells me I have to up charge you for using Amex(); which is illegal. I proceed with the experience only for the masseuse to leave throughout my session, phone constantly ringing and keep the door open(). Also, I purchased body scrub and she only did my back. The icing on the cake was when I go to tip her $20 she says "NO you need to tip more because it was 90 minutes" ()even though the experience was not the best. this place was on a special for Mothers Day 2024 so I called and asked how much and does the price apply in person from Groupon ( by she I mean front desk lady ) she said yes then I called back again to confirm and she tried to upsell me thinking I was a different customer first red flag , then we get there man and woman masseuse we asked for two woman but I guess they were short staffed . I took the man and he was so heavy handed I was in pain the WHILE ENTIRE TIME !!! then the husband masseuse left out the room his last 20 mins and didn't come back for a while then hurry and finished him off smh the real gag is when we were leaving they were talking about a tip that WE ABSOLUTELY HAD TO TIP !!! from my experience a tip is very much optional and from my experience I was not tipping for no painful ass massage !!! she said we were bad business and not to come back !! read more
