Today was the day, and although I was given a service window of 7-11am arrival time, I received a text at 6:40am saying they were on their way! Yay! The techs Luis and Peter (I think those were their names!) were professional, friendly, and answered all my questions. They even took the time to teach me about our tank size, how to troubleshoot potential issues, and how to maintain our system well. My experience with Modern Septic was wonderful. My job was scheduled to start in just two days and I was told up front what I could expect as far as pricing. A1 sent out a great technician, Christian. He kept me up date and explained the procedure thoroughly. Christian identified damaged areas in the tank wall due to age and amazingly was able to fix it the same day. He also found the lid rim was damaged and tried to save me some money with a larger lid, but it still didn't fit right. He brought back a custom lid the next morning that worked perfectly. Christian was a pleasure to work with. He was very patient, friendly and professional, despite it being 100 degrees with no shade. I had to admire his excellent work ethic and made sure he had plenty of water. I will certainly recommend A1 Septic Services and I will be a returning customer for sure. This 56-foot cast iron sewer line runs through my raised foundation, under the driveway, through a retaining wall, and beneath the front yard to the city main line. It turns out there are two options: Trench and replace the entire run or install an epoxy liner. I wanted to avoid trenching my driveway and yard and the high labor cost of a 56-foot trench. Modern Pipe Solutions offered significant experience with the Nu Flow Cured in Place Pipe Epoxy liner (CIPP), competitive pricing, and an amazing 20-year material and labor warranty. Once under contract, everyone at Modern Pipe Solutions performed extremely well. Dalia kept me updated, Grayson ensured the team had what they needed, and the cleanout and CIPP liner installations stayed on schedule. I was very impressed by the skill level of the technicians.
