I'm a first time home buyer (uneducated in all things septic) who needed a tank (that hadn't been serviced in 34 years) pumped/inspected as part of our very short escrow. Could not have hoped for a better experience than what I received from this company. Whole process from first contact to job done/report in-hand took about 2 business days! Spoke with Liz three times over the course of the process. I hope the company knows what an asset they have in her! Super honest, informative, and very easy to talk to. It's so hard these days to find someone in a home service/construction type role who will candidly discuss all the possible outcomes and their likely-hood along with probable costs. She really helped educate me so I could have informed expectations to prepare and be ready to move forward immediately with the next steps, regardless of the results of the inspection. Invaluable and refreshing to find a company that operates like this! To top it off, after reaching out to each of the two repair/replacement companies recommended by All-American Septic, I found they were each equally as honest and candid as my experience with Liz had been! One recommended probably replacing the tank, gave some rough ballpark figures on cost, and said they could be out there tomorrow to give an actual quote. The other recommended probable repair, also threw out some cost figures without prompting, and said they could be there today! These folks are the best. We used them a couple years ago to pump our septic and add risers - first class job. But they went above and beyond the call of duty yesterday. We had a slow shower drain--called a plumber/drain cleaning company who came, snaked a while and then blamed septic. Plumber pulled the septic lid and said "yup, needs to be pumped." I got All American on the phone - they asked me to send photo, I did - they said plumber is wrong septic looks perfect. And sure enough, once the plumber did his job and snaked the line all the way problem disappeared. I'll never use that plumber again - and I'll be a lifelong All American Septic customer. read more

I called a few different septic servicers, and the prices for pumping were all very similar. However Liz at All-American Septic was the *only* one to mention the San Diego County rebate program; since we are located in unincorporated San Diego County, we are eligible for a $100 rebate from the county. Will pumped out the septic for us efficiently and quickly - it only took about a half hour to pump our 1200 gallon tank. When he was done, he went over his findings with us, including advice about replacing the old concrete lids and risers with newer fittings (not required now, but maybe next time), and when to pump again (4 years). Great experience, very friendly and knowledgeable people, will definitely call them for all of our septic needs. read more

All American came and pumped our septic which had been pumped 4 years ago prior to us buying this property. They were fast, clean and pleasant. They also let me know of a problem we had/have that needs to be addressed (poor draining in the leach line as evidenced by a leach line drain that had sewage more than 6" over the gravity fed opening into the leach field. I am a physician, widow of a graduate of West Point Military Academy who was willing to sacrifice his life so that businesses like this could thrive unimpeded and live in freedom. I am also not a white person, which apparently disqualified me from getting my septic tank pumped when I walked out to meet the business owner, who claims he is a veteran. Shame on him. At 65 years old, I needed more help to completely clear the lids and was willing to pay for his crew to help. He had quoted me a price via text earlier, but when he saw who I was (i.e. the color of my skin), he doubled the fee, told me some nonsense about not having the crew, and stormed off. But I thank him for his blatant, discriminatory attitude because when I contacted another business, I hid in my house so they could not see me. Everything went without a hitch! So he taught me how to navigate Valley Center businesses. 1/6/2022 This is not a fake review. I have the email that was sent confirming the appointment although I may have deleted the texts out of frustration and disappointment about the service I received (though these can probably be retrieved). This is a true and sad account of my personal experience. As opposed to reacting angrily and threatening litigation, self-reflection and a desire to resolve any potential misunderstanding from the owner would have been the more skillful and useful approach. I have used this husband and wife business twice. I created a yelp account because I learned about the one star review on this business made by a crazy person while I was at at a children's birthday party today. This review was made by someone who is clearly a 'stupid person' based on how fake and outrageous it sounds. In addition to that, I know it's fake based on two things I learned in my experience with the business owner. First, the owner does not have a "crew" and second, there is the whole "he's not a racist who turns down work due to skin color" thing.
