I've been going here regularly for over a year and have forgotten to write a review, since most of my reviews are for restaurants. The basic monthly pass is a great deal if you plan to come 1-2x/wk. I haven't had a garage that I can park in, so I'd say I go at least 1x/wk. The staff here is good...I'd say they started off really good when I started coming here. There would be guys offering to help as you hand dry...have noticed that not to be the case as often now. Perhaps because it is the middle of a hot Summer, or whatever spiff they had going is over. They used to show customers a card and ask them to share their experience at this particular location trying to boost positive reviews on Google (or some other platform that was not Yelp). A couple of the employees would say they were running some sort of contest between the different locations and which one would get the most/highest reviews/ratings. Anyways, many fewer consistent staff members hustling to help you dry your car these days. At least they still offer easy spots and tools to detail your car after the wash. read more

Entrance to car wash is confusing and makes no sense. The basic wash is $11 and offered just about nothing so I opted for the second tier that came to $19 after tax. Car wash was quick and barely cleaned the outside of my car. Vacuum spots were larger than most car washes but vacuums had no suction power at all. The rags they offered (limited 2 per person) all smelled like mildew which I would not use inside my car. My car looks better than It did before going but not $19 better. read more

I visited this ModWash for a single car wash back in December of last year. I handled my debit car to the employee at the gate and requested one car wash I received the service and I left. I recently discovered, after reviewing my bank statements, that they have been charging me for a membership I never signed up for or authorized in any way. This has been going on for almost a year now. They have charged me $277.68 for a single car wash. I only authorized this business to make one single charge for one car wash. The legal charge was on December 22nd 2024 for one car wash in the amount of $11.00 From January 2025 to November 2025 they FRAUDULENTLY ROOBED $266.68 from my bank account. During all this time I received no serviced or returned to this place. I contacted their "customer service" department, but they are not admitting any wrongdoing nor agreeing to refund my money. I have since contacted my bank's fraud department to report the issue and to replace my compromised debit card. After reviewing numerous similar complaints from other customers, it appears this is part of a broader pattern at ModWash. I will be submitting formal complaints to both the BBB and the FTC. In addition, I will be filing a police report for theft and fraud. I will also be monitoring for any potential class action lawsuits related to this conduct. The attached screen shots serve as testimonial evidence of the ongoing, systematic credit card theft and fraud occurring at ModWash. I roll in for a quick wash and the girl tries to sell me a monthly package. I say no and told her it's because they really don't do a good job. I ask for a Basic Wash .. she says that's why ... This foo touched my vehicle and shut off the vacuum machine after I paid for my wash. I'm a deaf person and he kept talking his head off. I could not understand him. He tried to intimidate me out of talking with a manager. I had to leave out of safety for myself. While I like the location and the wash services, the attendant at Polk Line Rd was not the best. He kept pushing me to get the monthly service and when I politely said no, he berated me and treated me like I was an idiot. Is there a commission to sell these passes? He then proceeded to use my credit card as a tapping device for the touchscreen which just added to my irritation. I would suggest some extra training for this clown if you don't want to lose business. I am seriously considering not going back based on this past experience read more

Very sad is place does not care about their monthly wash members. Didn't need a car wash and just wanted to use the vacuums but the GM Jessica said this was not allowed. Unfortunately she was very rude and I decided to cancel my membership. I worked at a similar tunnel car wash for years and can honestly say this place is not run well. Their lack of training causes very long lines and waits. Take your business elsewhere where! read more

This is an update to my review and the response we got from the corporate office as requested by the business (Mod) who asked that we reach out and try to resolve the situation. My complaint was that the right mirror was broken off while in the carwash and the company is adamant that they will not assume any responsibility for repair/ replacing the mirror. I have read some other complaints where you've invited customers to view the cameras not us because you can't but you can use the excuse to say the car is 5 years old you won't assume responsibility for the damage. I also mentioned about her membership and that the car wasn't clean but don't try to make a refund of the membership when the real issue is the broken mirror. I will not keep going back and forth with this company about what I am sure is their fault but I will continue to move forward seeking legal advice.... read more

I have been a Mod Car Wash member for the last few years and I'm SO IMPRESSED with the quality of service! The monthly charge is comparable to other car wash businesses but Mod Wash does a better job with the wash and the amenities they provide. Jessica is the GM at the 22nd Avenue location and she is phenomenal. She and her team are professional and always ensure that the customer is happy. I have a membership bought at the 34th & 58th Ave, very happy with the service there. My husband bought his car to the 22nd Ave today and paid for his car wash, the amount of soap dispenser was hardly noticed There was only 2 workers, one directing the payment machine and one directing cars into wash, here you have to walk back to the office building to get damp towels, while the 34th the towels are please in front of the cars for easy access. There use to be 2 vacuums, now 1 on right and the left is a vacuum for narrow spots, but good luck trying to detach that one. Nope will not come back to 22nd. read more

Wow! Went to Mod Wash at 2900 22nd Ave N. While we were waiting on their employee to try to sell packages to customers there was quite a line of customers waiting so the employee told us to move to the other lane. It was very tight and we hit the rim on our brand new Dodge Hellcat. The employee came to the car and started yelling at my husband who was upset and kind of was jumping on the employee because the employee told him to go there. She actually told him and I am quoting the employee, fuck you and fuck your momma and she flicked him off. I went and got the assistant manager and she went over and talked to the employee who told her their side of the story and basically she took their word rather than the customers word. She didn't even listen to us and started yelling at me. I had to get my husband out of there because he has PTSD but I just think it was terrible to treat us that way and let your employee speak and act that way. Absolutely horrible. read more
