As of July 2022, the Grosse Pointe Park location is closed due to building repairs, but the Roseville location is open for walk-in and delivery orders. The website states that they are delivering to Grosse Pointe and surrounding areas daily. I placed my order online at https://flowersbygabrielle.com. The main page of the website will show you what is available and what is currently sold out. Although the items available are limited, I find Gabrielle's floral arrangements to be more sophisticated and elegant than a lot of other larger floral shops in the area. I chose the "Children's Valentine Arrangement" for delivery to a colleague in Detroit who recently had a baby. You can choose from a unicorn or giraffe planter that comes with "a beautiful whimsical arrangement filled with fresh colorful blooms" as described on Gabrielle's website. The arrangement was delivered on time and my colleague loved it. I will use Flowers by Gabrielle again for flower deliveries.

After going down the street to Mancuso's and ordering flowers with no problem, I walked into the Viviano storefront to get an explanation of this policy. The only thing the young lady could say was that they are a call center and she was not responsible. I then informed her that this so-called policy is discriminatory and racist and that I will be letting it be known. When given the chance to redeem themselves, they did not back away from what was said on the phone. There was no apology. And all of this, mind you, while a (used to be regular) customer is going through an experience of loss. Shame on Viviano. They will NOT be getting my business again. I recommend everyone drive the extra mile to Mancuso's.

The Meditation Garden - Succulents is a nice choice and I like the succulent option because they last so much longer than fresh flowers. I love the glazed ceramic pedestal face planter. One thing I was disappointed by was that I specified in my order that I wanted the planter in dusty pink, but I was given the white planter. I guess Viviano ran out of the dusty pink-colored planter, but it seems to be back in stock according to the website. Picking up was simple and I did not have to wait long to have my order secured in a box and placed in a Viviano Flower Shop bag with my choice of bow tied to the handle. At the funeral mass, when the Priest handed the pillow to a grandchild the pillow fell apart and the 5 small roses fell on the floor - not worth the $50 they charged. It took 4 days for the owner (Jimmy) to return my requested call. I was told he took a day off and was busy catching up on work. I did not know a $150 credit had been issued on our $550 bill until I went online to check my credit card. Personally the service was so bad I think they should have issued a complete credit.
