I saw other negative reviews on the Yelp page but I have to say that I had a good experience. My friends and I shared a burrito bowl and a veggie stack. They were both well made and tasted delicious. The serving size was large and the three of us were full between the two entrees. The hot sauce in the bowl was excellent. I also got a side of chips and salsa. I didn't particularly love the chips but the salsa tasted fresh. No complaints about service. We ate in the food court which was packed and busy in a good way- exactly the vibe that you would expect at a mall. read more

In the midst of a busy mall it's hard for any restaurant to run accordingly, especially where you're creating your own bowl at the counter. The food was excellent and the staff were even better. Ok, I usually don't give four stars rating for a fast food chain especially when it is located within a mall but I must say that this place really deserves it. I see negative reviews from others but perhaps it was an off day from Moe's...not sure. I ordered the chicken bowl, rice, beans, sour cream, cheese, lettuce, corn and extra grilled veggies and mushrooms. It was delicious and actually plentiful that I had to take half home. All orders comes with free chips and salsa dip (yep, beat that chipotle and QDOBA!) There is a line but it moved pretty quick and customer service is fine. I actually like this most location it wasn't a bad experience. I was a little skeptical because it is located inside of the food court inside the jersey garden mall. The food is a little pricey compared to other locations probably because of its location. I got a chicken bowl with rice and a few toppings and a drink I paid close to $20 for all that food. They charge $3.99 for A bottle of water which is a little absurd. The staff working there seem split between friendly and summer just don't care. I do want to point out that my customer service experience with the gentleman working on the food line was extraordinary. He was an amazing personality and he individualized to each customer and made ordering their food that much more exciting. He had a huge Smile on his face and actually attempted to make conversation with the customers. He also made things interesting by putting a little pizzazz when putting condiments on your food, which I thought was awesome considering no fast food joint ever take the time to care about their customers like that. I think his name was Maddie. This man deserves recognition! I chose to eat at Moe's because it seems like the better option of all the other fast food joints in the area in the food court. read more

I don't understand why this place has so many negative reviews, today was first experience with Moe's Southwest, and everything was fine. As I walked by I saw the Art Vandalay (Seinfeld reference) and decided this was the place for me. I ordered a Joey bag o'donuts (whole wheat wrap, brown rice, ground beef, lettuce, pick de gallo, onions and cheese) if you want Guac, then you can get the Homewrecker, and pay an extra buck. They even throw in free nachos in your bag, sorta like Five Guys with the extra scoop of fries. The staff was pleasant, the food was solid, but the nachos definitely weren't as good as Chiplote. Either way, this place reminds me of Qdoba, with the friendly staff and quality Mexican fast food. read more

Was at the mall today shopping and was hungry so I stopped by Moes Southwest Grill for a quesadilla. Immediately my first sight was a gentlemen behind the counter and I think his name was Maddy but he was full of energy smiling at everyone and treating everyone great! Everyone else behind the counter was kind of all quiet and not welcoming. This guy Maddy was making everyone smile and you barely see that anywhere. The quesadilla wasn't bad it was pretty decent surprisingly. All I know is the employee made my experience that much better. read more

For the chaos, I applaud these employees! One stand-out was the dude whose name tag said, "Hello, Jesus!" He was great! The service was quick & friendly, but sort of intimidating. They almost expected you to know what goes with what and what the toppings on certain things should be. Luckily, "Hello, Jesus" was very kind & explained everything. I had the Close Talker with Chicken & Guacamole. It was tasty. I chose the wrong dressing (Southwest Vinaigrette) as it was waaaaay too spicy. Overall, for food court fare, I was happy with the whole thing but the shell really shoulda been crunchy & I wish they didn't nickel & dime you for everything on the salad. read more

Now, of course I recognize that my expectations need to be moderated given the fact that this Moe's is in a mall food court, but it's also a chain restaurant, so I'd expect the quality to be pretty standardized across locations. If this location is indicative of all other Moe's, the company is in trouble. Fair warning: The menu is confusing as heck, such as having a burrito called Joey's Bag of Doughnuts. Not sure if this is a franchise or company owned or just a mall vendor who stole a Moe's sign. This store has recently changed the items available and raised all of the prices. They wanted 2.59 for guac on a chicken bowl (used to be called Earmuffs, but menu sign is changed)that is already a jacked up price at $11.50. Guacamole used to be included. Pinto beans no longer available. Peppers and onions no longer available separately, only mixed. Food tasted okay, not fabulous. Employees were nice enough but this is not a "real" Moe's. read more

We drove quite a distance to redeem an offer for buy one get one free at Moe's. After waiting in line for 15 minutes to get our food, we were told they would not honor the app deal and that they don't have any of the delicious special salsas that Moe's is known for. On top of all this, their prices are higher than any Moe's I have been too. I am very disappointed and advice others to find a different location to meet their Moe's expectations. read more

Came here Sunday at 6pm. Never giving Moe's my business ever again. This location is that bad. I've eaten at Moe's before and while it is no Chipotle, it is pretty decent and was willing to try it again. However, the experience I've had at this location has put a sour taste in my mouth which will prevent me from giving Moe's any more of my money. I ordered a burrito which cost $8.59 and it was similar to a Taco Bell sized burrito instead of the big Chipotle sized one. The chicken was cold, they don't give you a lot of rice and half their ingredients were empty. You actually don't get to build your own burrito or anything for that matter. When you order an entrée, it only comes with the ingredients listed on the menu board. If you want extra ingredients, you are supposedly charged extra. Although on the bottom of the menu board, there is a sign that says "FRESH, FREE INGREDIENTS" and lists all the ingredients. I suppose Moe's doesn't hire or train employees to read. I should have just left without paying for my order and they'll be out of a burrito they can't sell. Initially, my stomach was telling me to get Cajun Grill. Guess I'll trust my stomach next time. My wallet will thank me as well. read more

I just had a horrible experience at this Moes. First off, the first guy in the assembly line messed up everything. He mixed up two orders in front of us. The whole line of food in front of us got out of order. to remedy the issue, they threw everything away (which is terribly wasteful, it made me cringe) and started over. Then, the guy put as much juice from the beans as possible on my tortilla. Thanks for that soggy quesadilla jackass. all the workers on the assembly line had attitudes. check your attitude people, customers are more important. Finally, my quesadilla wasn't even pressed-just folded over. WTF. this was my first experience at a Moes. I sincerely hope the rest of them aren't this rude and disorganized. read more

Honestly one of the worst fast food places I've ever been to. The employees are always rude & look unhappy except for one of them who is always happy. My quesadilla was made improperly after I paid $12 for it. My quesadilla was not sealed so I could barely grab it without the contents falling completely out. Then when I asked for my mall discount they said they don't give it to mall employees on weekends. I've worked at this mall for years & that's never been a thing. The first two girls was nice upon walking up to the counter. That is the only reason that I will be giving these two stars. I came to establishment early on Sunday around 1130. The food should be fresh since the mall just opened. The food was bland. It had no flavor what so ever. The sour cream taste like they put water in it and the guacamole look like it was sitting for a while. The guacamole was actually a dark color. The chicken taste like cardboard like they did not try to season it. I swear they just threw it on the grill and in the warmer. The warmer was not even keeping the meat got cause baby as soon as I bit into the meat most of it was cold. On this particular Sunday their soda machine was not even working at all had to carry your food and try to Burger King to get a drink. Why even buy a drink from you all and have to fill up at Burger King. Hope they are the same owners cause one establishment is getting money and the other is actually giving out the product. read more

I've eaten here a few times and the manager is rude as hell. Customers and employees. The 2-3 visits before this one other than the rude manager were fine and when I asked for a refill they always gave one. Well this time the rude manager was there and said no refills on soft drinks. Funny it's not posted anywhere and they always gave refills. Worked at a Moe's when I was a teen and the rudeness here is nothing like any location I've been to. Will NOT eat there or any of the restaurants in this mall owned by the third party company who already price gouges and won't give refills. read more
