The manager was incredibly helpful in pulling fresh black beans for me and fresh tofu for my friend. The food was ok, but the problem was the staff. We didn't get the "welcome to Moe's" when we walked in. It felt like this location was dying. I doubt i will be back to this location. It just felt this franchise owner was phoning it in. If this location was to go out of business I doubt anyone would miss it. Moe's corporate needs to come visit. Everything needs a good cleaning. Maybe freshen up the food. Rice was dried out. It was like eating at a hospital cafeteria. There were dirty substances on every table. The garbage can was filthy trash in the floors. Can't imagine how dirty the back room looks like. Workers were nice. Just seemed like no one was running the joint. you would think a place like Moe's on Mondays when they have their best deal of the week would be a crowded mess and your order would be wrong. That is NOT the case at this fantastic, expertly managed location. The workers and the manager are some of the kindest people I've ever seen in food service. I always place my order online in the app and when I arrive at the store, it is right every single time- hot fresh and delicious. Today I was listening to an interview taking place and I heard the manager discussing how she memorizes customers orders. She knows their names, their family and what day of the week they come in. This location is the perfect example of a chain restaurant that has all of the love and care of your local mom and Pop. I'm so glad that it is on my way home on Mondays.!!! read more

I come her all of the time... well I used to. This place is on my way to work and have decent prices. I've noticed that over time this place has gotten gross. I used to be happy whenever I came here, but now I've noticed they don't change gloves between customers, touch the doors and register with gloves on and still use them. I've also noticed that the trash never gets taken out, and the windows (as well as the bathroom) are disgusting. That is just nasty. And personally will not be coming back because of that. I have also had an issue with a deal on the app. I got an email a week before my birthday saying that I could get a free burrito on my birthday. So when I went I asked before I ordered if this was true or not and they told me that I would be able to get it for free. I got to the register and they refused to give me the deal, even after they scanned the code in my app. I also noticed that the employees are becoming more rude. Absolutely horrible service. I have ordered food from here for pickup one other time before, and didn't get what I ordered, but gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to try it one more time. Well, I was absolutely disappointed. $25 on two bowls and neither of the bowls were what we ordered. Ordered chicken and got beef, they added jalapeños for some reason, ordered cilantro lime rice and they gave us seasoned rice. And on top of all that, we didn't get the queso that we paid EXTRA for. I mean it's like they didn't even look at the order, and just threw a bunch of random stuff in a bowl. Absolutely ridiculous. The worst online ordering experience and poorly trained, disorganized, reactive restaurant staff I have encountered at a "quick service" restaurant. Staff was unknowledgeable and said that they were going have the ownership contact me today, but that did not happen. After a terrible, gross, and sickness inducing experience at the Jackson location last month I decided to take my business uptown and give them another shot, same ownership. I saw I had a free birthday burrito and $40 of rewards credits in the app. I created my birthday burrito and realized after spending 10 minutes in the confusing app that I could not pay for any remaining balance on the order with rewards credits. So, I place the burrito order and moved on to placing a second order to use my credits. Then the app tells me that I cannot use more than one reward in the same day. Not allowing a customer to do business with you is a strange policy, but whatever. We place another order from my wife's account and used the bogo entree item. She wanted a quesadilla, so we placed the order for 2 pork quesadillas and some queso. So far, not great but i'm trying to see the upside in the hopes that we will have a good experience eating the food. Boy was I wrong and unprepared for what was to come to us upon pick up. My wife goes in after 15 minutes as instructed by the app. My birthday burrito is now about 25 minutes old and she goes into pick up both orders. The manager tells her that the second order with the quesadillas were not made yet because they were out of pork. No calling us to ask, no making up for the mistake and wasted time, just a question of what she wants as a substitute. She tells them to do steak and they begin, almost 35 minutes after my first order... They then proceed to make the food but realize that there are too many bags of food. The staff tells her to just take the extra food and end up sending her home with what they thought were burritos, it was actually extra queso. No calls to follow up on the order, no comping the major error, nothing but an apology. When we get to eating the food the $10 quesadilla is just some beans and steak and some sprinkles of cheese. Nothing like the menu photos, and definitely not a quesa-anything. No sign of the extra charge queso dip in the dish and over an inch of bare tortilla around the entire perimeter of tortilla. Not enough food to justify the $10 price tag, or even $5. I cannot stress how poorly the team did last night. No remorse, no compensation, just excuses and complacency with mediocrity. I placed an order for my wife and I through Waitr. After an hour the order still hadn't started preparing according to the app. Who knows how long until they would actually start, so I decided to cancel with Waitr. That's usually a pretty simple process through the app, but it was taking a while, so I called Moe's directly to try and cancel the order. This has happened at least twice, and both times, I haven't been able to get through over the phone. This location seems to regularly ignore phone calls on busy nights (or maybe just turn the ringer off altogether). Drove to this location and tried to cancel in person. For kicks, I called them before I went up to the counter just to watch them ignore the phone with only 1 customer in line... Anyway, when I asked to cancel, the manager said they hadn't received it, so no harm no foul. The next bit of mixups could have been avoided if they had taken my name down while I was there, or had just answered their phone! About 40 min after "cancelling my order" with the manager in person, I'm back home with some reliable Raising Cane's (5 stars). It's spooky movie season, so as Jason Voorhees gets his first kill of the night on my tv, I get an equally scary knock on the door. After picking up the drink I definitely dropped in my lap, I realize: it's my Waitr driver! ... I paid for a total of 4 meals this night, despite my best efforts. I didn't bother the driver with all this, made sure he got his tip, and then found out we got someone else's Moe's order. Not wanting to deprive this new entry in the saga, Mandy, of her order of nachos, I tell the Waitr driver who just sighs. "This is the third order they've messed up tonight." Mandy doesn't get her nachos, I'm out $35 ($50 including Cane's), and Moe's gets this nice little review. Win win win. Answer your phone, Moe's! read more

I come here all the time and have never really had a bad experience until today. There were two very young workers waiting on patrons. The young was not very polite or accommodating. When I told her what meat I would like she literally gave me five pieces of chicken. Five. When I asked for more she said she was going to have to charge me extra. With the attentiveness of a grocery store parking lot weekend carnival worker, my families food was prepared with all the care that the employees could muster. Upon completion of the checkout, we (and several others) returned to ask for forks. We all were bluntly and unapologetically told "we ain't got no forks". So my friends wanted to eat Moe's for dinner. Since I had just eaten Chipotle for the last 2 days, I wanted something different besides mexican. So, I got firehouse subs from next door. I brought the food into Moe's and began to eat it with my friends. Yes, I realize it's frowned upon. But there really isn't a rule and most fast food like places don't really care. Let's be honest, Moe's isn't that nice. Anyways, the management came over to me and felt like they needed to address it in the rudest way possible. Walked in and I saw no employees. After waiting a couple of minutes, an employee who was sitting at a booth came to help me. Another employee came out from the back and started waiting on someone that came in after me. So after waiting to be waited on, I'm now second in line. I should have left. The employees were not friendly, the rice was undercooked, the only salsa they had for the customers to dip was the hot one, as they didn't bother to refill the others and they were also out of the cups for the salsa. I love Moes. I always get Wrong Doug Stack. Two employees really stood out to me and their names were Josh and Calandra. Josh was very pleasant and I even asked him for suggestions on what to get on my food. Very delicious. Calandra was quite the busy body while pregnant and smiling through it all. First time eating at Moe's and I must say I'm impressed. Upon entering my family and I were greeted to a friendly, "Welcome to Moe's!" The food is similar to Freebirds or Chiptole or maybe even Taco Del Mar. You pick from a burrito, taco, nachos, or quesadilla (maybe more?) and then customize. We visited right before the supper rush and while the selections were not full, they were all available and hot. Everything tasted great and we were all well pleased. Chips apparently come with the meal, which was a pleasant surprise. Who eats plain corn chips? Not me! So I helped myself to the salsa bar, which appeared fresh and tasted great.
