I used to think Moe's was the owner's name or something but it turns out there is no Moe. It's an acronym for Musicians Outlaws and Entertainers which makes Me like this place even more. Plus that explains the concept menu which includes plenty of buzz words taken from famous pop culture driven situations, movies, songs, and stuff. Yup it's all true. And what's also true is that this location is a pretty solid Moe's Southwest Grill. Last time I rolled up here I grabbed an Adobo Chicken Homewrecker Burrito with all the works and it was very tasty indeed. They also hit Me up with a good amount of chips and once I grabbed up some of their legendary and complimentary salsa I was off to "Burritoville"  [buzz word] Side Note; thinking about one day maybe retiring to "Burritoville" Ya know. First time ever at Moe's southwestern grill and was very pleasantly surprised. I got a salad with adobo chicken, shredded cheese, corn salsa, regular salsa and shredded cheese. Other options were their "famous" queso, fresh guacamole, beef, regular chicken, shredded lettuce, brown rice, cilantro lime rice, green salsa, jalapeño and other peppers, onions and one or two other choices. My salad was great, I loved the dressing it how to switch chipotle flavor with nice vinegar kick. Every meal comes with corn chips and free salsa's which range from mild and chunky to hot and smooth. They were great! Very fresh and crunchy delicious corn chips and the salsa was great. My husband got the "home wrecker" burrito with brown rice, steak, corn salsa, cheese and sour cream. He loved it, and devoured the whole thing! I have to mention that the cheese actually had flavor, which is rare for any fast food restaurant. I detected a nice sharp cheddar. The chicken tastes like cardboard, the soft taco tortilla was like rubber, and the guac was unappetizing and pasty. The chips they give you are so boring, its pointless to even bother with them. I love walking through the doors and hearing the entire staff say "WELCOME TO MOES!" That greeting alone makes you feel so welcome and excited to indulge in some owy gooey queso! I love their chicken and bacon quesadilla with that spicy chipotle sauce! The tortilla is always grilled perfectly leaving nice little crunchy bits that I really enjoy. Their queso is so good and I crave it on a regular basis and I also love that they aren't stingy with their chips. Whenever I have queso left I ask for some chips to go and they always send me with a hefty amount. Moe's offers a complimentary salsa bar that I also really like. They have salsas ranging from mild to hot and are very fresh and flavorful. I also really like their soda machine with like 100 different options to choose from. I liked this location a lot because of how spacious it felt inside and made my dining experience really enjoyable. The staff here is really friendly and helpful. One staff member insisted on disposing of my tray for me which I thought was really nice. I will definitely be back! read more

It's Moe's. If you've been to a Moe's before you know what to expect as far as what options are available. I personally prefer the burritos, as they are large and you can customize them to how you like them. Make sure you get Queso! Unlike their competition, each meal comes with amazing endless chips and an awesome salsa bar. The salsa is great. They will give you extra chips if you ask. This is probably one of the best Moe's locations I've been to. Food is always fresh, tables are clean. "Welcome to Moeeeeeeee's!" I've been coming to this Moe's since they opened. For a quick service Tex-Mex restaurant the food is very good. The tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and burrito bowls are always on point. I've come to appreciate Moe's a lot more since going vegan. I checked their faq page and it says, "We use only soybean oil and vegetable stock. Our organic tofu, beans, tortillas, and rice are all vegan. Also, there is no gelatin in the guacamole." So basically, everything except the obvious (meat, cheeses, and sour cream) are completely vegan, which is pretty awesome! My favorite thing to order is the burrito bowls (with tofu, of course) and I usually load it up with a ton of toppings and don't forget the guac! The salsa bar is just okay, to me their salsas taste similar to the jarred stuff. I do however, like their seasonal salsas; they tend to have more of a fresher taste. I visited a Moe's location in 2013 for the first time and wasn't impressed, so I never went back. However since tonight my husband was paying and I wasn't cooking, I agreed to go to Moe's. I was pleasantly surprised. I had two crunchy chicken tacos and they were delicious. I loved the cabbage on top. I could have done without the guac and chips, but who am I to say no to free chips and a guac add on?! The coke machine with all of the choices is a nice touch also. Two stars because the guac and queso were good, other than that it was not great. We decided to order online and have it delivered, which I know is fairly new to the location, so we figured it would take some time to receive. We ordered two meals and some sides and we were told an hour (not bad) An hour and a half later, food was still not here so we decided to call and see if everything was okay. It took awhile to get a hold of someone and we were told that the delivery driver left 25 minutes ago and to give it 5 more minutes. (we live 5 minutes away from the location) The person on the phone kept saying it was really busy and to just wait 5 more minutes. Confused, we waited another half hour until our food got to us and it was all cold and one of the orders was wrong. Tried to call and speak with someone but after two tries was sent to a voicemail and have yet to hear back from anyone, that was yesterday. Overall the service was not great and I understand that restaurants get busy but a call saying it would take longer than expected or giving us the option to come pick it up would have been nice read more

I still have a serious addiction to Moe's. Those pork nachos are life. The guac and salsas are always fresh and good quality, and I love the choices in their soda machine. I tend to prefer this location as my go-to in the area; it just feels more spacious. The staff here is always courteous; seriously, some nights just hearing "Welcome to Moe's!" immediately lifts my spirits! It's a fast, quick, slightly healthier option for those nights when you're pressed for time. Let me preface this by saying I love Moe's. The ones in Clifton, Parsippany, and Mahwah are all first-rate outstanding. Which is why it pains me to give this 1 star review. The food is consistently bad here. It's like whoever prepares it skips ingredients or doesn't give a crap to follow how it should taste. Never get the pinto beans which aren't ever fully cooked. Plus the worst part about it is its always super-warm inside. In the spring and summer to the point where the heat is unbearable. Like the owner's never heard of using an air-conditioner. This is a true indication of how "chain-restaurants" such as these can vary tremendously amongst each other. If you'd only been to this one, you'd have no idea what you're missing out on. This place was good when it first opened, but unfortunately it has drastically gone downhill. They have a lot of options for fillings, but nothing ever looks appetizing. I have learned to stay away from the meat all together; It tastes like plastic and has upset my stomach on a couple of occasions. Been eating a lot of Burritos lately. I was recently in Jersey looking at a new car and saw that Moe's had recently opened. It was lunch time so I figured what the heck. Went with my usual chicken burrito. The restaurant was quiet and clean, even though I suspect they had just had issues with flooding (the piles of sandbags outside the restaurant provided a small hint). There were no signs of any water damage. Staff was friendly, made the food quick and got me on my way. They have a deal on Monday's for a Burrito, chips and drink for less than $7. The salsa bar is a a nice touch and offers help yourself salsa in various flavors. Would visit this location again. It was on the corner of some non-descript strip mall. read more

I was in this Moe"s yesterday and go once in a while . I have to say I will never go back . Cross contamination is running wild in the place. I am a Vegan and watched the gentleman behind the counter , grab bacon with his hand (with gloves on) and proceed to touch my food and everyone else as well . I asked him to change his gloves and make mine over . He gladly did and was very nice and understanding . The one he made over had cheese in the guacamole , I paid for it and gave it away . The staff really needs to be educated in Cross contamination and especially with food allergy so bad . Most of the time the help is very nice but once in a while there is a gentlemen that is really pissed off when I asked him to change gloves . Many people are say this place is good and I just don't see the hype for it. It's kinda like a more expensive version of chipotle. They are almost twice as much expensive and there's really nothing good about it that makes it worth that price. The restaurant is well kept and clean. For a cheese and chicken quesadilla + drink I was down 10 dollars , and I was not impressed with the quesadilla. I could have gotten the same deal for 7 dollars bigger ,and better quality at chipotle I was disappointed with many saying " you have to come here your missing out". We ordered curbside and waited for 10 minutes passed when it was supposed to be ready. Order was still listed as in progress. My husband went in. Our order had been sitting there getting cold for God know how long. Everything is soggy. It's fine if you're not offering curbside, but don't allow me to order it that way in the app and at least let everyone know the food is ready. read more

Went to Moe's last night and got literally one of the worst meals I've had in my entire life. I ordered a burrito with cilantro rice, carnitas, and some sour cream and jalapenos. The rice was hard and under-cooked, and the tortilla was placed in the "warmer" for not even a second. The meat and rice were so cold that it tasted like I had just taken the burrito out of the fridge. The staff seemed to be too busy joking around than to actually care about any sort of quality control or to put any effort into their jobs. This used to be my favorite place to grab a burrito, but at this rate I'd be better off with day old Taco Bell for ¼ of the price. I will never return to this dump again. I'll be taking my business elsewhere to places that, minimally, heat the food up for their customers. read more

I found 2 things to be good at Moe's..the hot salsa and the tortilla chips.The "personal trainer"salad was a veg option..and it was just not good.The menu has "pun-ny" names , but absolutely NO descriptions of the menu items themselves! The vegetables in the salad were cooked previously,so they were limp. I was served about 6 pieces of chopped romaine in the salad,and a ton of beans.I wouldn't bother coming here again for a Mexican food fix! It also cost me 12$ for a salad and an iced tea. read more

Welcome to Moe's. You're always greeted with these words when you come here and that's alight by me. For "fast food" it's good. Is it really Mexican? Nope. Is it American with a twist of tex-mex? Yep. Not bad at all, even the tofu was tasty. Guac could be better. Fresh salsa bar is free and they're very good to go along with the free chips that come with the meal. Weekly specials.
