To be fair Mexican is my least favorite cuisine but my friends wanted to have dinner here so I was a good sport. There's both good and bad elements here: Good: adorable decor, trendy and fun. Food and drinks are beautifully presented. Nothing is overly salty or seasoned. I liked the salsa and fresh chips, use them sparingly because it's not unlimited refills. The cheese in my quesadillas was delicious. Areas to grow: service is spotty because of a language barrier. Have empathy for the staff, they are trying. Management should be working on the floor to help both the servers and customers with communication. Charging $2 for a single soufflé cup of sour cream is a bit excessive, a 16oz container of it at ShopRite is 1.99! Price point overall is a little high for the neighborhood.

This rating is based solely on experience. Went for Cinco de Mayo and the whole place was a vibe. They had a Dj, a girl going around giving shots, dance parties it was great! The food.... Embarrassing. They had a limited selection which, fair. But the food was unappealing, undercooked and plain Bad. They serve you on plates that Look disposable, the tortillas weren't fully cooked and the meat was flavorless. Then to top it off the waiter gave our bill to another table. And tried to tell us we were going to pay less by paying their bill because we had ordered more. We had them calculate the whole Thing over and we paid about $15 more but the explanation was bizarre. Why would I pay someone else's bill??

Overall wasn't impressed. Went on a weekday early afternoon and there was only one server (potentially manager or owner) who wasn't very friendly and didn't even mention happy hour specials (overheard a couple who came in later ask about it). Food was just okay the best part was the guacamole. Salsa and hot sauce were all cold, like just popped out the fridge. Birria bowl was rice with a splash of beans, pico and not very flavorful meat. Can't speak on their drinks but they didn't have horchata which is unusual for a Mexican spot.

This restaurant looks nice, definitely a place to hangout with friends. Service was great. We came on a weekday afternoon so it was really quiet. The downfall is the food though. I thought things could've been a bit bigger portioned for the price, and some more filling in their tacos. But unfortunately, I think the flavor is lacking also. I added Hot sauce to everything for some sort of flavor. We ordered the burrito, some tacos, and buffalo chicken spring rolls.

Misleading Happy Hour Sign. Waitress said you only get 1/2 off on ONE appetizer. The sign doesn't say that.

I'm on the fence with this restaurant and it makes me sad. If we're rating the food, it's pretty good! I've come twice and we tried things like the Empanada trio, Birria Pizza, tacos gringos, guacamole, and a few other things. Really good, didn't disappoint at all. If we're rating service, ummmm...they could be better. The first time we came, the waitress wasn't happy at all. Her face showed it, her vibe showed it and we were just walking on eggshells. The second time we came, we had a waitress who barely spoke English. Eventually she got another waitress who spoke English because we all were getting frustrated. We came for Happy Hour! They offer 1/2 off SELECT APPETIZERS. Fine. Then they list the select apps. Fine. We gave a list of apps to try, we were beyond excited to sample and then the waitress says HAPPY HOUR is 1/2 off just ONE appetizer. After that, everything is full price. The sign says NOTHING like that. It's misleading and if it's true, it should be written. Both times we came, our bill was around $200-$275. We expected better service and honest advertising.

Pedimos quesadillas de pollo para llevar y me dieron quesadillas de carne ,lo malo, ni comemos carne .

Orden incorrecta, me dieron productos que no puedo comer . El servicio es ok, el ambiente es bueno

This place was subpar. The best thing here was the drink. They brings chips and salsa for the table. The chips were old, not fresh. We ordered calamari for the table. It was battered with I want to say adobo b/c it came out orange. The squid was not fresh at all! I love seafood. That squid was not good. I had tacos gringos. I was fine. Nothing to rave about. My friends had steak fajitas and shrimp tacos. They enjoyed their dishes. I expected more from this place.

This review is for the Wayne location. I was there for Sunday brunch in February, posted the review in Google, but noticed this review is not showing on their page. If you are looking to party on a Sunday morning, that's the place (is really loud!). The food unfortunately needs improvement. We ordered queso fundido to start, and got nacho cheese, seriously???(picture attached). Queso fundido and melted cheese are two different things! I ordered the steak and eggs from the brunch menu. The piece of skirt steak was decent seasoned thankfully, it came served with one egg and some kind of potatoes that tasted horrible and it was cold. The service was ok, can't complain about that. Definitely not coming back!

Parking along the sides of the restaurant. This is the spot for bottomless margaritas or sangria. $30 for bottomless drinks. My glass was never empty until leaving. Our waiter was wonderful. We came here for my brothers' birthdays and they did a whole celebration during brunch. Highly recommend coming during brunch. I was a party of seven and everyone ordered birria tacos and I ordered the fish tacos. They were amazing. If you're looking for a fun brunch spot with bottomless drinks, this is the spot.

My sister and I visited on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. They have a parking lot. We arrived at 1pm and we were seating immediately. Not too long after I noticed it got crowded. We were greeted immediately by the manager, Marcelo. Marcelo & our waitress, Itzel (I apologize if misspelled) were great. We opted for the bottomless margarita - which is the real reason we wanted to try this spot out! The margaritas were delicious and they did a great job at making sure our cups were filled. They also bring chips and salsa to start. We ordered the chicken empanadas to start. They were yummy! For entrees, my sister got the birria bowl and I got the birria tacos. We both got beef. The food was good but we had gotten full from the margaritas that we ended up taking our food to go. The entertainment was great! They had a DJ and the variety of music was good. They had two dancers going around to the different tables and performing. They had some sort of 'contest' where they asked a certain amount of people to go up and hype up the crowd. It was a fun time. Overall, great experience, good food and good drinks. I will definitely be coming back!

The spicy margarita and frozen coconut margarita are awesome. The Birria is the best thing to get here!

Perhaps kitchen staff changes have brought the quality down? Portions were a good size but it…read morestopped there. Was a loyal customer for many years and every restaurant can have a bad day but meals last week were not worth eating We chose a pasta dish with chicken, red peppers, spinach and mushrooms on a garlic cream sauce. Other than the mushrooms every component of the dish had no flavor. The chicken had grill marks and was thin and impossible to chew likely old. Garlic? None just cream The other entree was Shepherds Pie. It had a cloying taste of over handed powdered bouillon use rendering it too salty to finish. Service was not attentive and I'll give it another chance maybe in six months but it was a disappointment from past experiences.

Not sure why Grasshopper has such a low rating. Yes, it's your typical pub with bar food but I…read morewould argue that they have better food than most other pubs. They have a weekly steak special with mashed potatoes and onion rings that is SOO good, I always take home leftovers and actually enjoy eating here. Last night, I stopped in from a long day at work and didn't feel like getting a meal so went for the mozzarella sticks and broccoli poppers. Their mozzarella sticks are by far the BEST compared to everywhere else I have ever been. You know when you order mozz sticks and take a bite and the cheese separates from the breading? These don't. These are like little nuggets of mozzarella and they are excellent. They are just THAT good. I also got the broccoli popped which pair well with dijon honey mustard. The service at Grasshopper is excellent. All the servers are super nice and they are quick with orders. And it's always nice to come in and see a familiar face! Nicole is almost always there making sure that everything is running smoothly and checking on us to make sure we have our food.
