Moe's is a wonderful place to eat. I can't say many negative things, because even if you have a negative thing happen, they do their best to reverse it. I once had a bad experience with a burrito I ordered that I used my points for. Not only did I get a burrito for free but I got my points back. I then ordered another burrito another day and got that one for free as well. Their food is great, and always fresh. The employees are always wonderful and always greet with a smile and a great big "Welcome to Moe's!" Newer chain restaurant to Northeast/Central PA, this is only the second location to open. Moe's is located in the Monroe Marketplace, next to BB&T bank. Menu is similar but different compared to Chipotle, items here have gimmick names. Employee was very helpful with suggestions and a sample of the spicy chicken to test its heat. Purchased a bowl upon his recommendation and went with the combo to save money. Moe's seem to have more customization options then Chipotle and I found the bowl to be fresh/filling with fair flavor. The Queso didn't stand out but the chips were fine. This location has two Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. Overall the food was decent, restaurant was clean enough, and I left VERY full. read more

I used to be a patron here and also supported them during the pandemic. I will not be coming back Every time I went in to order, they made me wait when I was the only customer in the restaurant. I was not greeted when I entered and I might as well been invisible because the others after me were greeted. The chicken and steak is not seasoned properly and it makes the food taste worse. I tried to give Moe's another chance, but mercy was proven wrong. The only thing good here was the root beer from the Coke machine. The quality of the food is definitely subpar for the price. There are vegan options here but what good are they if it's tasteless. No hint of salt. We did not taste flavor in ANY of the toppings. Including the new quinoa w/veggies topping. If you have an idea to just come for the chips and guacamole then forget that too. The guacamole had large chunks of tomatoes, large stems of cilantro and no flavor. $20 wasted between the two of us. They have much to improve. There is no way I'd recommend Moe's. Go elsewhere. read more

Had a very poor visit here recently. Asked employee to add light onions and he put on a pile. Clearly can't listen to basic instructions. Steak was very chewy and unappetizing. Burrito also fell apart after a few bites. Soda machine had several options unavailable as the syrup needed refilled, no ice as well. Gave them Feedback on moegottaknow.com. Never got a email or call from anyone. Will not be returning unless they make up for that last terrible visit. If you are craving Mexican you are much better off going up the street to El Torito. One of my favorite places to our quick, good Mexican food. The restaurant itself always sends to be a little dirty with crumbs (especially near the register) and dirt smudges where the salsa bar was wiped down, etc but the food never fails. I had heard so much hype about Moe's that when I came across one at lunch time while on a road trip I just had to stop. I have to say that although my experience itself wasn't bad, I was just not impressed. After looking over the menu board I chose the "Earmuffs" burrito bowl.(Every item on the menu has a gimmicky name) My bowl was southwest rice, black beans, pico, guacamole, shredded cheese, sour cream and grilled chicken. I added on lettuce, and extra tomatoes and onions. The pros: clean restaurant, friendly staff, lots of topping choices, free chips and salsa with every order The cons: mediocre food, rice tastes just like the Lipton sides mexican rice, pricey for the quality, the guac had zero flavor. The best thing I had to eat was the salsa with my side of chips. I can't recall the name but it was medium heat and delicious. The burrito bowl was just meh. 5.99 Burritos on Monday are hard to beat! Not to mention the food is fantastic too! Only draw back is the length of the lines on Monday! Since it's opening, my family has frequented the Moe's Southwest Grill in Selinsgrove on at least a weekly basis. It was one of our favorite restaurants, and we were planning to use their catering service for my child's birthday party. After the poor handling of a recent issue though, we will not be returning. This was a very simple error that grew into a still-unresolved problem over a month later, with multiple opportunities to make it right. On April 24, 2017, my family placed an order using the Moe's app. We live about 45 minutes from the restaurant, so my wife picked up the order on her way home from work. On arriving home, the child's meal was missing from the order. I called the restaurant to report it had been left out, and to simply ask for a refund of the piece of the order - it was impractical for me to travel 45 minutes back to the restaurant. No one was available to speak with me, so I left a business-professional voicemail requesting a manager to contact me back. I waited over a week without receiving any response from my voicemail, before contacting Moe's online to explain the issue. I received an email back on May 3, 2017 from the District Manager, Ryan Leff. He apologized for the problem and advised that the General Manager would refund the full order. I am still waiting for this refund. I emailed Mr. Leff on May 15, 2017 asking for a status and have received no response from him. Again, a very small error from the store that didn't have to escalate to the level it has. I have been a customer service manager for 15 years - I understand that mistakes happen. At no point have I been irate or demanding. I simply wanted a refund for food I did not receive. It's ridiculous that resolving a minor customer conflict is given so little priority at this restaurant. I will gladly take my business elsewhere. read more

I took my family in last night for dinner. This was my first time at any Moes restaurant. It will also be my last. I literally watched them make my food and in the three foot space from where he rolled up my burrito and the spot to pay, they somehow lost my food and gave me the wrong burrito! Idk how that happens but it did and they did nothing to rectify the situation! So there I sat eating a burrito that wasn't what I ordered and was at best average.. We ate at this Moe's recently and were extremely disappointed. We ordered burrito bowls and were told there was no rice! The chicken was marginal. We asked for extras on other ingredients to fill the bowls and staff agreed. We were asked if we wanted to share a basket of chips. No thanks...I'd like my own! The salsa bar bowls were mostly empty. They were refilled after we ate most of our meal. The place was extremely dirty but it was after the dinner hour. We were not given a receipt as they were also out of paper at the register therefore we were not able to comment on the restaurant's website. All in all this was a bad experience. Service and portion sizes have really gone down the tubes since it first opened... employees don't even tell you what is offered on the food bar... they just keep asking "anything else"? There should be labels on the glass so you at least know what some of it is! Also a little air conditioning would be nice!!!! Yes on this particular day it is very hot outside but it's 2017... shouldn't be hot inside! Heard other people in line for food complaining about it as well. I am typing this review currently sitting in Moes. Let me just say that Moes is phenomenal. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff is super friendly and the Manager Chris is personable! He interacts with the customers and runs a nice restaurant. Moes Monday is even better. Where else can you go for a 5.99 burrito, unlimited chips and a drink! I leave there full and happy! The restaurant was nearly empty with only 2 other families inside when I got there around 6:30pm. Nobody yelled the signature saying, "Welcome to Moe's." After I ordered my food and paid for it I went to fill up my drink cup. The whole drink area was sticky. Then I was on the search for a table. Finding a table was not difficult, but finding a clean one was nearly impossible. I sat in the back by the restrooms since that was the only clean table that I saw. The entire time I was there I did not see a new customer come through and nobody went to clean the tables the entire time I was there. I saw the shift manager go to the restroom and go back to the food area and not even tell either of the associates to clean. When I was completely finished with my food I went up to the register and asked to speak to a manager. The female associate said there was no manager there. Then she says, oh she's the shift manager. After that I said just so you know you need to clean the table here because they are disgusting. When over half the tables have food on them, and nobody working there seems to care it's completely obvious why nobody is going to Moe's. read more
