Disappointing after going here for years. Yes Saturday nights are more hectic but the restaurant felt understaffed. When we were finally seated, they squished 4 adults along with a baby with a car seat and a toddler into a small booth. The hostess was not enjoying her job. She seemed indifferent to seating us. I found a $50 gift card in the waiting area on the bench and took it to her. She said she would give it to her manager. I saw the manager later and asked if she gave it to him and he said no, he did not know anything about it. Food was just ok. Salad was good. Sweet potato under cooked and small, shrimp appetizer was good.. Ribs were very fatty. The steak was ok. Nothing to write home about. Steaks are mediocre but are still priced like their better competitors. This place is probably fine for those who don't eat steak often and don't know how much better they should be, but if you KNOW what steak should be then I'd recommend another destination. They don't take phone orders so you'll have to trust staff to guess at preference details you try to convey on website. Our first visit to a restaurant where we could actually sit down and eat! (Remember those days). The restaurant is very clean and everyone coming in, going out and all the employees were wearing mask. I saw the employees clear a few tables and I could have surgery on them. On to the food... We both ordered the shrimp and lobster chowder which was decent and had a good flavor. The Texas tonions were delicious and fried perfectly along with a great dipping sauce that had a nice little kick to it. She ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken as a main and loved it along with Brussel sprouts. I ordered a loaded baked potato with 6oz. Flo filet. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was seasoned well. We both enjoyed our meals but could not find room for dessert. The hostesses at this location likes to seat me at the back of the restaurant near the restroom. The first time this happened, it was a male, and I told home I didn't want to be seated at that table and decided he wanted to roll his eyes at me. I was reseated but I received a letter of apology and I haven't seen him since. The second time was a female hostess. It was 3:00pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was wide open. She also chose to seat me by the restroom and I told her to move me elsewhere. I was one table over and I could smell the nasty odor from their dirty bathroom. I noticed two other parties were seated at better tables than I. I enjoy coming to this restaurant for the excellent food and service. The hostesses are a joke and need to do a better job. Wow, this place has issues. Went to dine at the bar. Sat for a good period of time. No bartender appeared. I asked the host, jokingly, if it was self service tonight. We were going to go to dinner at Longhorns in Selinsgrove to celebrate my fathers 78th birthday. since there were 16 of us going I called the night before to see about a reservation. I was told they don't do reservations but to call about an hour before we were coming in so they could accommodate us. I called around 445 since we live an hr away and let them know we would be there at 6 and the lady who answered said she would let them know. When we all arrived, the hostess laughed when I said there was 16 of us and proceeded to tell me it would be 1-1/2 hrs before they could seat us if I wanted to wait. obviously they don't need our business so we took it somewhere else. I have been to this store twice in the last month. The food and the service was great, my issue with the experience was the one manager who I found out to be Ray. BOTH TIMES I was seated by the area where the waitresses go into the kitchen. I heard what I thought was a Manager belittling the young female staff over very menial things that could be fixed with a half decent manager. I then noticed what appeared to be his Napoleon Complex when he came out from the back. He was complaining that the females weren't doing anything right, and talking to the men staff like normal humans. He was saying some very degrading things. As a local retail Manager myself, I would NEVER treat my staff like that. This was our first time at a Longhorn and it was terrible. We ordered 2 steak meals, a salad entree, Brussel sprouts, and a kids chicken tender meal. EVERYTHING was so over salted we couldn't eat it. The ribeye had to be sent back and they remade it. The second steak came out in a huge puddle of grease that had to be dumped off the plate in order to eat any of the steak. The salad was so salty the greens were wilting. Our waitress took our uneaten food, apologized, said she has had multiple complaints about salty food and the new cook, and got a manager, but the manager was as bad as the food and stated no salt is used at Longhorn. She offered new food after we waited over 30 minutes for her to come out to speak with us. At that point we did not want anything, just to leave. We will never eat at a Longhorn again. read more

Obviously these people rating this aren't handicapped at all in a wheelchair. Went here for a birthday, the inside is nice it is very spacious and would have the potential for a nice layout. But obviously people don't think Where you would have a nice open space to Get through and maneuver with your wheelchair, That space is taken up. By tables Right down the center. Which won't be as bad unless you set the person in wheelchair. All the way in the back knowing that you will get more people in eventually. Before they leave and people don't really care if they push their chairs in your road or not. Which this happened and it made it very very difficult to get out. And once you did get out to go out The hostess was standing right there with Waiters And just said bye. At least at Texas Roadhouse, they would be nice enough. To open the doors instead of having you try by yourself well they watched you struggle well pushing yourself out. At the same time very disappointed. Sitting at the tables would have been a nice experience. If they wouldn't have been so wobbly. And obviously never tightened. And if you're in the wheelchair. Don't plan on going to the bathroom. At all going through a 5 foot opening to get to the bathroom. With the pathway lined with chairs on both ends that are almost a foot wide. Is real interesting to get through. It's pitiful. And a shame the only real positive aspect of the night was the waitress which was nice. And cheerful unlike the other waitresses that were there. Which were ignorant it seemed. The food itself was Good. Nice and hot the only downside was the salad, if you ordered a salad. They came out in bowls that seem like they have been in the freezer. Overnight it takes about an hour for your bowl to warm up enough to eat That you don't. Hurt your teeth. When you eat lettuce. Other than that the environment was pretty nice. The only thing was that was loud and went every place they play music. A casual visit a few months ago to the Neshaminy location has turned into one of our regular lunch spots. I thought their steak dinners were always pretty good, but we discovered a lunch menu that offered a good variety of soups, salads and sandwiches. We came on a weekend for lunch, after trying to get in on Valentine's Day without a reservation (I don't want to say we were stupid but we were stupid for not making reservations). I figured even for lunch, we would have to wait but we were seated almost immediately. Our waiter, Jimmy, was super friendly, and on top of everything from start to finish. I got the Flo's filet with Steakhouse Mac & Cheese as my side and my husband got the Braised BBQ beef sandwich. My steak was delicious, and cooked perfectly. I asked for well done, and there wasn't one speck of pink. Cut like butter, and melted in my mouth. Mac & Cheese had a slight garlic taste to it, which I wasn't expecting, but it was delightful. I'm not one to clear my whole plate, but it was empty at the end of my meal. Hubby thought the sandwich was good, but next time said he'd ask them to leave the BBQ Sauce off and put on steak sauce. He said it was still pretty tasty. Bill wasn't overly expensive for the two of us, despite me getting a filet. My only complaint was that the table didn't look like it was completely clean. If we had come with more people it would've been a bigger deal, but since it was off to my side outside of where I was sitting I didn't fuss much. Definitely a good visit. Yummy! read more

So disappointed with the Longhorn Steakhouse in Selinsgrove, PA. My favorite meal is the Parmesan Crusted Chicken. I've been to Longhorn three times in the last year and ordered it all three times. Only once did I get it properly made with a chicken breast; the other two times they used chicken tenders because they ran out of chicken breast and over cooked them so much it was like chewing chicken jerky. It's so sad they can not be consistent with this dish. Obviously chicken tenders are thinner and will dry out so much faster than a chicken breast....and they are cheaper so I'm sure this may have something to do with them cutting corners and using them. Let's talk about the cleanliness of the restaurant. The booth area was dirty, seats, table and horrible on the floor beneath. What was more horrific was the ladies restroom. Grant it, they have a leak in their roof so even excusing that mess let's talk about how incredibly filthy the floors were in the stalls and out. It's obvious someone just runs a broom through the restroom and does not do a thorough cleaning. Everything that I seen and experienced was a direct result of poor management. Not supervising cooks to do their job properly or making them substitute for lesser quality to cut corners. Not inspecting the work your cleaning crew does....Shame on that person. Three times a charm for me since only one out of three they served the meal they advertise in their menu. I will visit other Longhorn Steakhouses but not this one. Longhorn Steakhouse definitely lives up to the expectation. The waitstaff were very welcoming and greeted us with a smile. They were consistent with clearing up our table, asked if we needed anything and refilled our beverages when needed. We started off with two appetizers, Brisket Nachos and Battered shrimp with sweet chilis. Both were flavorful, we enjoyed the battered shrimp because it was seasoned well and the shrimp wasn't over cooked. The Brisket on the nachos was perfect, the smoked flavor was there which is what made it a winner in our book. Based on popularity I decided to give the Outlaw ribeye a try. It took about 15min to come but boy was it worth the wait. The ribeye was perfect and so juicy. I had my steak medium rare and they did an excellent job. This is probably one the best steaks that I had in a chain restaurant. My wife had the Crispy buttermilk chicken tender salad. The salad was fresh and came with a rich amount of chicken tenders. We both had such a great time this Valentine's Day, we plan on coming back soon. I look forward to trying the Flo's Filet. read more

We ordered a few weeks ago and it was bad but we gave it the benefit of the doubt and ordered again. Still horrible. The parm. chicken was like rubber and not real chicken. The steak was supposed to be medium well and was rare. The ribeye sandwich was a huge fatty piece of meat in between two small pieces of bread and looked beat up. Soup was only half full. Last time we had an issue with the steak as well. Both were supposed to be medium well and one was burnt and hard and the other was bloody rare. It's like they don't even try anymore. After years of going there I am no longer wasting my money there. So disappointing. I should have stopped when they took away the sweet corn fritters. read more
