The…read morewoman on the phone specifically told me to wait and bring it on Tuesday when the tech would be there. On Tuesday, I loaded up my bike and drove it down to the shop. After being completely ignored for five minutes by the woman and a man, that seemed to be the tech? I finally asked if the tech was around to look at the bicycle that we brought in. The woman then asked us what brand it was, when she found out it wasn't a Treck. She told us they wouldn't look at it. She didn't say it in a nice way. She was very, very abrasive, and quite frankly seemed annoyed that we were in her shop. I mentioned to her that another woman told me to bring the bike in and mentioned nothing about the Bike having to be the Treck brand. Her response was "that wasn't me ". She could not have cared less. Terrible experience for our first time being in the shop. Needless to say, we will never be back. We're in the market for new bicycles, and will not be purchasing at this shop. Customer service is everything... And this shop lacks! There are other bicycle shops in town. I just can't imagine that this attitude is good for business. Both my husband and I were shocked on how we were treated.

I removed most of it. The throttle worked while we were carrying it home. We were told a price of about $60 with tube and labor, over the phone. 45 mins tops. Upon arriving, we were told it would cost more if they didn't have the right tools. But they had the tools at the other store in Crystal River. Then we were told it he couldn't get the all the rubber out and it should have no effect on the ride. Today, we use the bike for the first time, and the power and all the lights turned on, but both the pedal-assist and throttle didn't NOT work. My friend called up there and they told her we brought it in banged up??? SHE PAID OVER $80 FOR SERVICES, BY A PERSON WHO DOES NOT TEST THEIR WORK BEFORE RETURNING TO CUSTOMER. He showed me some different brands and styles and I was able to take them for a spin in the parking lot. Marc has been there for a long time and he knows his stuff. He knows the history of each brand and he will tell you which one is the best among them. He is a bit on the quiet side, so you have to ask your questions. I also like that he took my mongoose in and gave it a tune up. I bought that bmx Mongoose from Fb marketplace for $30. It was in rough shape and he tuned it up and got her moving nicely. I settled on the cannondale and he put together the medium frame. I'm at the tall end of the small frame and just felt more comfortable on the medium frame. It was a great experience and I will go back to the shop again when I need bicycle supplies. I'm always in favor of supporting the local guy. HIs prices are comparable to online and you get that people experience that you would miss out on by ordering online.
