3 court hearings and nearly $25k later and I find myself without the aid of a lawyer in my child custody case, because after 3 years of representing us, with an RFO in progress, Sina rage quit when we demanded that he put up or shut up. What we got was a draft RFO that seemed to only have a vague understanding of our case (weird because he had been working on it for three years) is full of mistakes and literally had someone else's name on it and a lawyer that could not be found. Let me be clear--there were issues with how Sina runs his office from the start, but we were taken in by his big game talk, again and again choosing to ignore when this firm ignored our case (their office seemed to be plagued by crisis because every single time there was work to be done on our case there was family emergencies, rushed filings, and delays from his office), ran up our bill, and engaged in strange billing practices. In three years they changed their billing system three times and we have yet to see an itemized report--instead they would only produce invoices and a "client ledger report". Things had gotten so weird that his billing manager was having us pay their office to what appears to be Sina's private Venmo account...or at least we think it is based on Matt Struski's payment to Sina for "When you were DTF on New Year's Eve" or Matthew Rudnick's payment for "Ram it!". On top of this the office made mistakes ranging from not informing us of a court ordered mediation causing us to miss it, to sending us a draft RFO with other client's information (We still don't know who A. Wood or what she is the defendant to but if you read this you might want to call Sina's office). We should have left when we watched Judge Clay chastise Sina for bringing minor children to court with the hope they would be allowed act as witnesses for another case he was working on, because based on the Judge's reaction that was a HUGE and very much known No-No. Anyway, I am sure what will happen next is that Sina's office will come on here and refute this, because I was a difficult client--guilt as charged. I spent tens of thousands of dollars on Sina as I was fighting tooth and nail for the most important people in my life--my children. I was demanding and at times rude. We hired Sina for an ex parte filing, and a change of Custody RFO--it took his office two years to limp our RFO over the finish line, so yeah, we got pissy. Things is we kept trusting Sina because no matter how big the mistake he could charm his way out of it. The song and dance routine got so much I literally asked if he was a conman. He never wanted to take responsibility or admit he was over his head. It really doesn't matter though because at the end of the day he took an oath to zealously represent his client, and our experience with him was that time and time again we were chasing him down. Take it from me--maybe look for someone less worried about sounding right, and more interested in doing right. Anyway, take all this as you will. read more

If I can give 0 stars I would. I had to fire Sina Mohajer at Mohajer Law Firm. This is something that should not be taken lightly. It is not normal to have to fire a lawyer. I came to him due to a child custody dispute. I talked to him and presented evidence of abuse. My ex had forced me into a room where he trapped me and our child without food or ability to seek medical services in an emergency where my ex passed out drunk shortly after. With no one that could hear my screams, I managed to cleverly use his Xbox to get out a cry for help. The police and child services got involved, and there was a record of the entire thing. I notified Mr. Mohajer of this. However, he failed to file any of this evidence. He also failed to file any of the pages of abusive and harassing text provided. His reasoning was it would be too much work to get the reports from police and child service. He said he didn't file the text because he didn't want to make it look like I was just trying to make my ex look bad. All of this could have established a well documented case of abuse. Instead, when we got to court, we had no evidence, and Mr. Mohajer happily lost custody to my abusive ex. His excuse for losing, he didn't know it would be like that. This attorney is incompetent on a level that should get him disbarred. I would recommend this lawyer to anyone I am fighting against. However, if you want him to win, he is not capable unless you do it for him. If you want someone who will get the job done, look elsewhere. What a disgusting experience now I can only hope my child isn't getting harmed thanks to this person's negligence. read more
