The AC unit made some weird sounds but we were tired enough we all fell asleep ok. They offer a complimentary breakfast which makes it super easy and quick with the kids. They had the usual offerings- fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, juice, coffee, eggs, sausage, croissant breakfast sandwiches, bagels, toast, pastries and waffles. Well we did that and went to the Grand Canyon. We then get texted that the dog is loud and that someone even called the cops. They even kicked us out. And then try to add charges on top of charges. Like if the manager Veronica went on a personal hiatus. Well, this is a very first. We asked a few neighbors about the dog, and they said that they never heard anything. This Veronica lady needs a husband and kids. And fun. Someone take her out please. For the sake of all humans and pets. Thank you. They are late, so what... you are forced to take ano6trsin trip to make up for there tardiness. What this world coming too.

Asking over and over "What service does that dog provide you". She was in tears. He rudely told her to go get on. Then the guy that was supposed to help her get on wouldn't even help or look at us. These folks could use some training in compassion for the elderly. I'll never take her to that station again. I'll drive further and put her on where they may show respect for elders. They made me sick to my stomach how in humane they were.

The staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast is the standard hotel fare, but it was well stocked and hot and there were staff members regularly checking the dining room and tidying up. The negative. The hotel was much dirtier than I usually experience, even at the lower cost Holiday Inn branded locations. The room looked clean on the surface but walking barefoot on the carpet resulted in black feet within just minutes. It made a room that otherwise looked clean feel dirty. The lobby and common areas weren't any better. Ice machines were broken on our floor and trash and stored items were visible in multiple common areas. I left a similar review on the IHG website. Again praise to the staff, but ownership needs to pay more attention before they lose business.

Plenty of parking out front and on the sides of the hotel, but there are no EV stations. Gym is 24hrs. Pool closes at 23:00 and sadly, there is no hot tub. Check in is early here and starts at 14:00. Never an issue for me as I usually call for late check in. But today was surprisingly early for us at 5-ish. Check out is your typical 11:00. Breakfast is your standard IHG fare. Eggs, sausage, breads and cereals, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, yogurts and fruits. Juices, milk, coffee and tea round out the beverages. Served 6:00-9:30 daily. Room amenities include an older 40-inch TV, microwave, mid-fridge, ironing board, coffee maker (k-cup), and hair dryer. Overall, your standard stay for a Holiday Inn Express & Suites. She stocked wines not usually found in the local stores that were really bargains. The current owners have made further improvements, but continue to offer a fine selection of wines. With the renovation of Beale Street (Old Town Kingman), the crowds of First Friday have discovered the Wine Bar. Note that live music starts around 7pm. It gets a louder with the music, but the table within the stacks is quieter as are the patio seats. They offer a number of wines by the glass, a wide selection of bottled beers (and often one special draft provided by Black Bridge Brewery), or select a bottle from the stacks and add a minor corkage fee to cover the glasses. If you don't finish the bottle, re-cork it to go. Summer brings out the red or white sangria. Winter offers the mulled wine or other warm classics. Several local restaurants deliver to your table (e.g. Siren's & Floyd's), but check with your server for others. You can rent the facility on closed days for special events or parties.
