I love to listening to books so you can checkout audio books, great for on road traveling. This goes for books that you can read on your phone. Staff members are friendly and helpful. They go the extra mile when you need help. The library is clean and welcoming. Plus you have access to computers and printer. Free with-fi. Ask how you can set up a project on the printer before you leave home. It is magical! Hope you will head yourself up to the library, soon. The rating is not as bad as it shoes!

I asked to put up a simple local flyer offering paid work to someone who is computer/PDF savvy and can help organize existing material into books. I was told no because they "can't verify whether any of it is accurate." But I'm standing right there. I'm the person offering the work. You can verify it with me. If a public library won't allow ordinary community members to post legitimate local help-wanted notices because staff supposedly cannot verify every statement on a flyer, then what exactly is the community board for? How are people supposed to find one another locally? How does a person needing assistance connect with someone looking for a few hours of paid work? How does a community actually function if every ordinary person-to-person notice is treated like some unconfirmable threat? Libraries are supposed to be connective tissue in a community. A bulletin board should help neighbors find neighbors. This policy did the opposite. One star for making a very simple community connection unnecessarily difficult.

Closed off to just random adults for the teens, only teens can enter, and it is a huge area. The same with kids; you need to have a child to enter the section. I did not have my babies with me on my visit, so I did not get to go in, but I know that they will love it. It is a big area, and it looks lively and cute in there. Something my kids would enjoy. I came here to print stuff for work and ended up loving this cute library; it's better than most of the libraries back home in Los Angeles. My kids are coming to town to visit, and I can't wait to bring them here and show them this library that I know they will love.

I have borrowed so many books and the customer service is fantastic. If they don't have a certain book they will try to get it from Kingman and it's usually waiting for me in just a couple days. It's so clean, quiet and just a great place to relax and hang out a bit. They have so much more than books. Can't rave enough about our Library and its staff.

Just be sure to book your appointment online! The appointment slots open I think exactly one week in advevery Monday (I'm not 100% sure on that though, and the time slot optionsare very limited and fill up quickly. If you can snag an appointment, it's one of the easiest and smoothest places to get passports done, especially with kids. Most recently, we used one of the multipurpose rooms here for a homeschool class event, hosted by an employee from the Las Vegas Natural History Museum for an ocean life class. I really love that the museum does that and we've always had great experiences with classes like this brought to us. Overall, this is a fantastic library for so many reasons, not just for checking out books, but also for community events, meeting spaces, and passport services. We've had nothing but great experiences here!

The library is always clean and welcoming, there are beautiful art displays throughout, and there are plenty of comfortable areas to sit, read, study, or work on a laptop. Unfortunately, today the noise level was honestly surprising. There were groups of kids and teenagers playing games on the computers, talking loudly, yelling, and using pretty inappropriate language. It got to the point where I had to put my headphones in just to focus on my work. What was most disappointing was that staff didn't seem to address the noise, and I didn't see any security around during my visit. I completely understand that libraries are community spaces and don't need to be completely silent, but there should still be a reasonable expectation that people can come here to read, study, or work without excessive noise. I'm hoping today was just an unusually loud day because I've always liked this location. I'll probably give it another try in a few weeks, maybe once school is back in session. It really is a beautiful library, I just wish the environment today matched the peaceful space it's meant to provide.

Small in size as far as the cafe area goes, there's six tables and a few stools at a drink rail... but the bookstore part is much larger. We ordered up two americanos and asked for mugs (coffee just doesn't taste the same out of a paper or plastic cup). They have mugs but you have to ask (we were the only ones with mugs at the tables) and you can't take the mugs into the bookstore. Our coffees came up in a timely manner and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Guess we usually come on a saturday, and it wasn't open. Pricing is very good. We didn't find anything. Has well-stocked shelves in many different categories, even foreign language items, which surprised me. I know some languages, other than English. But only fully fluent, about 80%, in one of my mom's languages (she knows four languages, fluently). Noticed that the display cases inside of the main lobby have been moved. This is a pretty large Library.

There is NO service in this place. You must connect to the sketchy WiFi (which risks all your…read morepersonal info) or cough up the money for a vpn subscription. It's seemingly impossible to just sit down in a free place with a/c and research a few things and be on my way without leaving my info vulnerable or connecting to YET another thing.
