He sent me for a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound, yet the results came back negative. Dr Hemmersmeier then ordered an MRI, which led to a biopsy that showed cancer. It's an aggressive form, yet Dr Hemmersmeier caught it so early and was persistent with followup testing. I needed a bilateral mastectomy, but because it was caught so early, my prognosis is excellent. In addition to this particular example, he has been a wonderful family doctor for my kids, husband, and my parents.

I was denied for an MRI because of an allergy to contrast dye, so they wouldn't take me and I had to reschedule and go to a hospital. Another time, they denied me for an MRI because I have a piece of metal in my body. (Despite the fact that I have had three other MRIs in the last six months without issue, they would not take me.) And I was only told that after I was there, checked in, the paperwork, completed, and in scrubs and ready to go for the imaging. The radiology tech said he could call some of his other clinics and see if they would take me and they could try to reschedule. But if he wouldn't take me, why would the other clinics? I'm not going to bother trying again. I'll just go to the local hospital, so I know I can get help in a timely manner when I need imaging completed.

It has been a year and a half and they tried to then bill me for the 1st initial consultation that was supposed to be free. Every time I asked them what the balance was they gave me a number that was different every time and more than the initial bill was for after paying every visit and making payments for months. A year and a half later the bill changes and they can't even explain it to me. They said there are 2 bills one past due that they never billed for in a year and a half and another one that was more than they had ever billed. They don't know what they are doing. Finally I asked for an itemized statement and they couldn't provide me with one. This is nuts. I think I will stop paying them until they can send me an itemized statement that shows what we were billed for and when and all the payments that have been made since the start. On the phone today they just said I'll have to have a billing specialist call you and couldn't explain where there's this secondary bill that is "Past Due" that they had never billed us for or why they can't send me an itemized statement. Seems fishy to me. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM CLINIC. They also use treatments the most insurances will not pay for because they "are not approved effective treatments." They will make it sound like your insurance will pay but it won't for some of the treatments. BEWARE OF THEIR BILLING SCAMS.

The entire R side of my face is drooping due to Botox hitting a muscle over…read moremy right brow, causing the right side of my face to droop and again at the jawline diminishing my jaw line (as the Kybella model - I take pride in). This was verified by another injector and a Chief of Plastic Surgery. The staff has a listening problem-I told them repeatedly that I tend to get a low brow, that the last injector told me to never do my forehead again and they insisted saying it would give me a lift. They also recommended the eye cream $120. I recognized the brand and told them I had a full blown allergic reaction to that product as a body cream. They insisted I try it anyway. Again I had painful, itchy, scabbed rash that has scarred my torso. I don't recommend. LISTENING to their patients is an area for improvement.
