I called the billing department and she did notice on my chart that I wasn't told about the actual cost of the visit itself 180. I remember asking the receptionist and she assured me the visit itself was 120. There was also a bunch of other Micro costs that I did not understand. Nothing but a bunch of heartless thieves here. Go to Medallus if you're low income and need care. They are upfront about what and how much. The nurses are also much nicer.

Medical billing sucks everywhere and I don't hold the facility responsible for that. Our family has had the need for the ENT offices and the Dermatology offices at this location. In all instances we have been able to find good providers that have been personable, spent the needed time with us, and worked toward solutions for our issues. Setting appointments was easy and the timeframes were not out too far, a nice and refreshing change from some offices. Facilities are clean and easy to get around. This building has multiple floors with easy stair or elevator access. The only downfall is the parking, which really is not great. Small lot and I think the employees tend to park close, especially in inclement weather. Plan on parking a ways away and possibly needing to use stairs to get to the building.

My baby stayed in the room with me almost the entire time--only leaving briefly for a few necessary tests--and the nurses were kind, patient, and incredibly understanding. Honestly, it didn't feel like a regular hospital at all--it felt peaceful, warm, and focused on me and my baby. If you're on the fence about coming here, I say go for it. I 100% recommend this hospital--it was a beautiful way to welcome my last little one into the world.

So naturally, when I needed some specialty care via radiology, I assumed my experience would be similar. I was completely wrong. It is almost impossible to make an appointment, and when you do, you are required to wait at least 1.5 months to get in. Each time you arrive, you must check in with registration and fill out 22 pages of information-even if you were just there a few days prior. Nothing transfers, the same mistakes must be corrected each time and the receptionist does not care about your concerns. On top of the ridiculous paperwork, they tell you to arrive 30 minutes prior to your actual appointment, which means if you are prompt, you end up waiting an additional 30 minutes for no reason. The MRI techs are apathetic and question your decisions, i.e. I have severe allergies and declined a portion of the MRI due to allergy concerns. The tech and the receptionist had a conversation about me and my choices in ear shot of me and others in the waiting room. To make matters worse, I was given incorrect information about the scan. The scheduler told me no food for 8 hours prior to the scan, which meant I could not take my migraine medications prior to the scan. When I ended up with one of the most severe migraines I've ever experienced and had to stop the scan, the tech told me I could have eaten before and taken my medications. That sure would have been nice to know. When I stopped the test due to the migraine, the techs didn't ask me if I was okay, nor did they help me as I was dizzy and on the verge of vomiting. I sat completely alone in the locker room trying to regain my balance and get to my feet. When I did get to my feet, I was given directions to the front door, not even a question as to whether I would be okay to make it home. I've had several other MRI's prior to this one and have never been treated with such disrespect or apathy. They clearly do not care that someone under their care is experiencing a medical issue. I cannot believe the difference between in-patient and out-patient care at this hospital. Now, I am trying to reach radiology to schedule a procedure appointment. I was promised a call days ago and when I call now, I am directed to voicemail and no one calls me back. I will be looking for another hospital.

I was not told of possible outcomes or what would be looked at. I was too overwhelmed at the time to ask many questions. When I woke up after surgery I was in an enormous amount of pain. The pain continued throughout the night. Even after a nurse contacted Dr. Moesinger he did not increase my pain medication. I was left to suffer. The next day when he came by my room I stated that it was negligent and unsympathetic to let me suffer all night. He did not respond and I didn't see him again during my five day stay.

He performed a right flank hernia repair on me, back in Oct., and caused more harm than he did…read moregood. I went in for a recurring hernia repair, which possibly was something overlooked by surgeon number 1, and caused additional injuries. He came in on the same scar from the other surgery and caused more damage to that area which is now oversensitive and very painful. He caused some nerve damage which made it sensitive (a brush burn feeling) in my lower abdomen. The worse thing of all besides the nerve damage and painful scar, is the fact that HE CAUSED an additional, VERY PAINFUL, hernia at the top of the iliac crest (hip bone) which he admitted to me and my husband by saying he pinched some fat in that area. I had a CT scan after the surgery and the radiologist's report says "Small residual fat filled lateral abdominal wall hernia with associated scarring.." THIS WAS NOT THERE BEFORE! I am in constant pain with clothing rubbing against it and I can no longer sleep on my right side without extreme pain. Dr. Moesinger lied to Intermountain Healthcare, McKay-Dee Hospital Patient Advocacy Team, and said he never told me he did anything wrong. Stay clear of this man.

It has been a year and a half and they tried to then bill me for the 1st initial consultation that was supposed to be free. Every time I asked them what the balance was they gave me a number that was different every time and more than the initial bill was for after paying every visit and making payments for months. A year and a half later the bill changes and they can't even explain it to me. They said there are 2 bills one past due that they never billed for in a year and a half and another one that was more than they had ever billed. They don't know what they are doing. Finally I asked for an itemized statement and they couldn't provide me with one. This is nuts. I think I will stop paying them until they can send me an itemized statement that shows what we were billed for and when and all the payments that have been made since the start. On the phone today they just said I'll have to have a billing specialist call you and couldn't explain where there's this secondary bill that is "Past Due" that they had never billed us for or why they can't send me an itemized statement. Seems fishy to me. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM CLINIC. They also use treatments the most insurances will not pay for because they "are not approved effective treatments." They will make it sound like your insurance will pay but it won't for some of the treatments. BEWARE OF THEIR BILLING SCAMS.

Miscommunication led me to believe that her office would contact TriCare for referral. That did not happen and after I found out the X-Ray dept. would take care of that when I schedule the appointment. That happened in that way. I had my CAT Scan on 2/4/26. A longer wait than I expected, but that was du to a misunderstanding. I can deal with that. The following morning on 2/5/26 at approx 8:40 A.M. I missed a call from her nurse as I was working and not able to get to the phone. At 10:05, I returned that call. I was not surprised to hear the nurse was busy and would call me back. I waited and waited. No call. So on Feb 5 at 2:40 P.M I called again. The nurse was busy and again was told as soon as she was done with the patient she was with she would call me. Nothing. Again, no call on Feb 6. On Feb 9, I called once again. I explained to the person answering the call that this was my third time trying to get a hold of someone and my call has not been returned. She put me on hold and checked with the nurse. Busy again. This time she told me that the nurse wanted to be reminded to call me after she was done with her patient. Well, no surprise to me that I did not receive a call. I am not happy with the staff who says they need to have a reminder to call a patient back. I am that unimportant to this staff member that they have to be reminded to call me. So I wait. This is the first time dealing with this particular location. Honestly, I am having a hard time envisioning me returning here. I will wait for an appointment with my PCM at another Ogden Clinic location.
