Paid $160 (that included a 20% tip) for one haircut and the other to have her nails trimmed. The problem came when I went to book them again. Moises wanted to provide an "estimate" for both services, disregarding the fact that we had already done business together. Same job, same dogs. I reminded him and sent him a picture of the venmo, and he continued to toss out ranges and wouldn't accept the same pay for the same service. Great groomers. (I am in the process of gathering them all to post) I refrained from using them for several months because they were never on time, not because it was too much money. They money isn't an issue. Raising your prices after each service without Giving a heads up to your customers during booking is. It's also very unprofessional. You have every right to raise your prices. But be upfront with the increase. Oh, and also be on time and maybe take accountability for your wrongs rather than try to say it is always the customers fault to try and save face by posting untrue rebuttals to poor reviews. Have been using this groomer for years. I liked their services so I didn't put too much thought into the fact that they are never on time. This will be my last time. Not only were they over an hour late again, but every single time we use them, the price goes up! We started at 115 for two dogs. Last time, $130. Today they charge us 150! My little boy was well manicured--they were always late, because my pet liked them I just worked around this issue. Finally I did reach them the answer was they were booked and could not get. My pet for two weeks. They gave me an appt-it was just before my medical appt- he said he would have nothing else for another two weeks. I explained he would have to be on time, and reason why. Of course they were late, as I had informed them if late I would not be home..I got a text- indicating was I home if not thy would not come. He was well aware I had to leave specific time. Attention existing & New customers: I am in total disbelief and heart broken that my groomers of 4-5 years have done this to one of my chows. Not only they didn't show up on 10/1/22 after I confirmed via text to come around 9-10am. It was unlike them. But what got me more upset was, they were here last on 10/11/22. Yesterday 10/23/22 my baby girl Nala kept licking her paw, didn't think much of it, but it was unlike her to continue licking her paw for hours to the point blood was coming out and then started crying. I was extremely concerned. Her dewclaw was inside her skin, irritated, red and bleeding. Moises (Wife & Husband) groom my Chow Chow's 1x monthly, charge me $140 per dog and never told me once my little girl Nala had this. That's their job to trim nails right? All other dewclaws have been trimmed including Kujo my other Chow, except her right one. You trust your groomers after all these years, and I'm beyond disappointed by their actions. I had to call the Emergency Pet Hospital near my house to take Nala in ASAP. The earliest was the next day 10/24/22. The pictures attached are hard to see, but wanted to spread awareness that not all groomers can be reliable. one is showing her dewclaw all the way in her skin, the after photo how deep it was, and the nail picture. Were the blood stops. The whole top portion was inside my baby girls skin. Hard to imagine what pain she was in because they can't speak. I have fired them and PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM. It was extremely painful to watch my little girl be in pain for something your groomers should be doing (cutting their nails). Not only if was an expensive visit, a shot had to be put in her to avoid further infection, medication to take home and Dr. Park at Park Animal Hospital said it had to been months for the nail to grow that long. SO THEY KNEW ABOUT IT WITHOUT TELLING ME! Simply not doing their job. The doctor wants to see her back next week to check in on her. We took her last week and they called us saying she had a seizure. This was 5 min after dropping her off. Long story short, she didn't have a seizure, she was super scared and shaking really hard. I found Moises from a friends recommendation. I texted a pic and was told it would be between 65 and 85. I wanted a shave down, nothing fancy. We made an appt for the following day. I was texted around noon, asking me if they could come 3hrs early, but I could not accomodate them. They showed up about 10 min late, no biggie. When we brought Sophie out, she was shaking a lot. Moises took the time to calm her down. He brought her into the mobile truck and an hour later, out she came. LOL. Clean and shaved down, with a pink bow tie. The price was 85.00. After going to PetCo to get my cats groomed I decided to try a different groomer. It's not that they didn't do a good job it's that my cats don't do well when traveling. The shop is about 20mins away and by the time we get there my kitties had released everything from both ends if you know what I mean and since they both turn 10 this year I don't want to stress them out more than they have to. I found Moises through Yelp and after asking for a quote I decided to try his services. It was the best decision I've made for my kitties. We made an appointment for 10a and he's was here at 10a, I thought he might be running late or something but nope he was here on time. While my cats hate being put on their traveling bags, it was less stressful since they just had to be in it for a minute vs 20. Each cat (2) took about 30min so they both were done by 11a and they looked amazing. There is no doubt in my mind that as long as Moises is doing this, I will be using his service again. Both times they responded that they had more dogs to groom and they had to push me to a much later time in the PM.
