First off the waiter did not write out our request so maybe that's why he forgot several things. I ordered the fajita quesadilla which was very bland. It was almost like the chicken was boiled but there were no vegetables which after looking up the menu it states there are only refried beans which mine did not have. It had NO spice to it at all. My husband had the Steven special which again it was bland and did not seem grilled but boiled and maybe grilled for a minute. The frosted mug came later for the beer which was warmer than the beer. The place is too dark. Lighting is no good. They were not busy but the service was not great. It wasn't the worst but not what it should be. Waited too long on refills. The food was bland. Chicken quesadilla was plain tasted boiled. No veggies,no beans or rice. My son's burrito was bland. Mom's taco salad bland. Son's Tacos bland. And the price was too much! Over $100 for lunch for 4. Someone recommended this place to me. Said it was great Mexican food and the queso was amazing. I got the queso trio and it was probably the worst, most flavorless queso ever. It was extremely watery and all three tasted the same...bland, which is maybe the worst thing you can say about a Mexican restaurant. Needless to say I don't think the person who recommended this place to me knows what good Mexican food is. I grew up in San Diego. Love this place. The flautas are my go to and I've never been disappointed. Combine that with a nice bowl of queso and chips and a frosty pina colada, and you've got the recipe for a fun evening. Avoid this place! Poor/very slow service, horrible/disgusting quality of food, and basic atmosphere. Sent food back and decided I'd rather go hungry. There isn't much to say, but this is not a quality place to eat. It's a shame that people actually eat this, pay for it, and call it Mexican. This was my third visit. The food was okay for the price. I didn't like that our chips/ salsa came after the meal. We decided to share a large platter/meal. For a second plate, we were given a tiny appetizer style plate. Here on business and after a long boring drive I was starving. Stopped in here because it's close to the hotel. I ordered the Steven Burrito with steak and a mango mojito. The burrito is smothered in queso, filled with steak (or chicken), rice, and more queso. It was not bad. It was about what I expected. Nothing too fancy. The mojito was fantastic. This is probably the worst Mexican food I've ever eaten My goodness. We had a party of 14 show up,we barely seen the waitress.Took forever to get service ,drinks,menus,silverware. The water and the chips and salsa are great. But the tacos were not great. For more authentic tacos you could probably just go to Walmart across the street and buy taco shells and meat yourself (don't forget the traditional mexican seasoning packet, they did). Gonna have to dial it down. I'd give it 1.5 starts if possible on basis of the nice surroundings and bar and I haven't tried grilled entrees yet. But the food is right in there with the blandness that is most all Mexican or Tex-Mex food in NWA. I had the basics - a cheese enchilada was a plain white cheese enchiladas covered in canned enchilada sauce. Blah. The beef burrito was full of ground beef seasoned with only salt and pepper and covered in the unremarkable salsa. A chalupa was bland refried beans with lettuce a slice of tomato and slick blended guacamole. Taco Bell uses more seasonings. Great venue, lousy food. And as we sat way too long without acknowledgment, and then sat with our dirty plates in front of us throughout the check out process and they were still there when we left, so on this occasion, service was completely unacceptable too. We ordered the cheese dip trio and when our server dropped the dips we pointed out we didn't have any chips. He said he would be right back and then never returned. We asked the food runner who dropped our entrees for chips to have with our dip and he also never returned. We were never given silverware or napkins so our eating experience was also subpar. While the server took the dips off our final receipt it was still frustrating to not eat something we ordered. I went to Mojitos for lunch. I ordered the two mini steak tacos with rice and beans. It was horrible. It looked and tasted like burnt hamburger meat. It was these black crumbs on these little corn tortillas. I could only get down one. Then I paid with cash, which is supposed to be a discounted price, but instead I got charged more than what I would have paid with a credit card. I won't ever go back to that place. read more

Yes the chip lady kept us in chips and salsa, but we didn't stop by for chips and salsa. The food was meh and our waiter was non existent! Sometimes you're ok with food when the price is good but this wasn't one of those times. Their margaritas were awful and the salt around the rim was around the bottom by the time it hit the table. Nachos seemed to be a build your own concept with government cheese the lead star in this epic failure. Our server was ok given the fact she was handling half the restaurant. She never wrote anything done which was impressive. But only 70% of our order came out correct. Very comfortable environment. They happily brewed us a fresh pot of coffee to warm up from the rain: Excellent customer service! The food never disappoints. Loud!!! Very loud. The menu is the same as their location in Rogers and I enjoy that. I prefer the Rogers location for decor and less noise. I got the chicken fajitas this time and enjoyed them very much. I was able to make three big wraps out of them and had plenty to take home for lunch the next day. Our service was a bit slow but they were full when we got there and full when we left. We came in on a Friday night very packed. We were seated very quickly, as well as served quickly. We had a party of 6 so gratuity was added to the bill. This was my first time here, and I always jump Mexican food by the chips and salsa. I LOVED it. Chips are thick, salsa has great texture and flavor with just the right amount of heat. Decided to try after reading Yelp reviews. We went for lunch and ordered the Acapulco Chicken and my friend ordered the chicken chimichanga. We both enjoyed our meals. I wasn't crazy about the beans or rice but I'm not a fan of pinto beans or Spanish rice. The chips were really fresh and they give you three types of salsa. I loved the fresh pico de Gallo and my friend preferred the warm chipotle salsa. Staff was super friendly and the restaurant was clean and bright. Will definitely be back!! read more

The manager asked if we'd been helped after about 15 min of us sitting there. Then our young waiter finally arrived but it still took a while.
