My partner has shared Paloma's pastries with me previously but this was my first time at their actual coffee shop. I got the NOLA cold brew which was very tasty with the spices and splash of milk. I loved how it wasn't too sweet. For their pastries, the matcha danish is so delicious!! They use matcha from Kettl and blend it with a dark chocolate. The result is a very decadent molten matcha filling. It pairs very nicely with the surrounding crunchy pastry given the textural contrast, as well as the spare sweet red beans at the bottom to balance out the bitterness from the matcha. We got two, one to enjoy immediately, the other to savor at home, because it was so good! Their pistachio pastry was also very tasty with a buttery, flaky croissant outer layer and a pistachio/chocolate mix filling. I'd recommend heating it up at home to maximize the crispiness of the croissant! The sesame bun had a good black sesame flavor with generally chewy bread. This location had a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Loved the big windows with lots of natural sun light. Line moved quick. Drinks/pastries were prepped quickly as well.

The cinnamon roll was a more assertive sugar rush. Crunchy sweet cinnamon sugar gave me everything I needed. Next time I would love to try some of the cakes I was eyeing in the display case!
