While inspecting the rodent issue, they also discovered mold in our attic. Alex provided many photos to show us the issue clearly. Alex was very careful to explain the entire process at the start of it so that there were no surprises during the process. They ended up removing all the old, contaminated insulation, thoroughly sanitized the attic, replaced with new insulation and wire mesh around the entire perimeter where any openings might exist. They effectively excluded all rod ents or pests from the attic. Alex came back for a follow up inspection and verified the attic is now vacant. Quality Workmanship: Even our electrician, who went up after they finished to check to see if the rats had damaged any wiring, commented on how clean the attic was and what a great job they had done. Cleanliness: I was worried about dust and debris coming from the attic down into the living areas of the house, but they created a plastic barrier Between where they were working and the living areas that left our home spotless when they were done. I really trust responsive people who are good communicators, so after a little bit of texting with other companies I decided to go with Robin's pest solutions and he came to spray right away. After a week, there were still some angry bees. He said about 95% of the time one spray works with one shot, but the work is guaranteed for a year. I texted him and he came out immediately once again and sprayed the heck out of that area. The first time around he sprayed the whole house which was a bonus. It's been another week and I haven't seen any bees. I feel comfort in the fact that the service is guaranteed for a year and face-to-face he's a really really really personable guy. Great, another day where I need a service call on Labour Day Weekend (if anyone knows me -- I…read morealways run into problems on a holiday weekend - be it Memorial Day, Labour Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving... you name it, I've had problems then!). Anyway, I was notified by my HOA that I had a hornet's nest on my patio. Frantically, I sent out a blast-request on Yelp for an immediate hornet nest removal request for quote (with pictures). It turned out (Thanks for helping to identify!) that this was a bald-faced hornet nest - similar to yellowjackets, but WOW, these bugs were HUGE. Jacob from Robbins Pest Solutions (Jacob R - I assume he's Jacob Robbins) answered the call quickly and efficiently! For a $250 flat rate (they'll come back if they rebuild the nest within a few days), he showed up ON LABOR DAY (today!) at 1:30pm (within the timeframe of 12pm to 2pm that he quoted me on Yelp Messaging), and quickly set to work cutting down the hornet nest. First, he sprayed the inside with a flower-based insecticide - that was pressurized, but didn't need a pressure washer to go with it. Then, he took the scraper thing (you normally use these for wallpapers) and scraped off the nest, putting it in an industrial-sized bucket. Finally, he dusted off the top area to get rid of any residue (and I assume to prevent future hornets from rebuilding a new nest). Given that hornets only build nests for a single season, I reaaaally hope they don't come back to my place. But if they do, I know who I'm contacting. Thanks, Robbins - for the fast, friendly service, and for getting this done on a day that most people would be relaxing and not working. Verdict: I highly recommend this business!!

And then we had two days of work. Both project managers, Eric and Greg were wonderful people. They did their best. I really appreciate it to work. And, overall, the team did a good job based on what I can tell from outside. They worked clean, they were respectful, they showed up on time. The only problem, and that's the reason that I only give 3 star, but not 5 star, is there is this one person in office, Lori. She's really hard to work with. She has an attitude. I had some question about this invoice. Some numbers initial didn't make sense to me. But the way she handles things with attitude, she gives me this tone while speaking - she is too much frustrated and frustrating customers too. If i am paying $8,000, i will ask question. I think that's the only thing that was down. I will consider it's Super Attic solutions -, maybe in the future, assuming that they're going to fix the folks in office and their attitude.
