Giving 1 star because the crew that did the labor did well, and the service wont let you put 0 stars. We chose Super Attic Solutions based on their strong BBB rating, positive reviews, and the sales pitch that emphasized thorough follow‑up and post‑project support. We received three quotes for our attic and basement work; Super Attic Solutions was not the cheapest, but the promised inspections and customer care were the deciding factor for us. The crew that performed the work was respectful, efficient, and left the space clean. However, everything that happened after they left has been the opposite of what was promised. The sales rep assured us that an "inspector" would return a few weeks after completion to verify that: No rodents had re‑entered the home All work met code Any questions or concerns would be addressed He even mentioned a 6‑month follow‑up to ensure long‑term satisfaction. None of this happened. When I asked the project manager to walk the space with the crew, he was hesitant. I'm glad I insisted -- four ceiling lights were sealed incorrectly and left hanging an inch from the ceiling. I was told an "inspector" would come fix them, so the crew left and I was left with blue tape holding up my lights. A week later, our AC wouldn't shut off. I discovered the furnace (located in the attic) had been wrapped in insulation -- a fire hazard and not to code -- and no clear path had been left for HVAC access. When I called urgently, I was asked to send photos and then told a "supervisor with tons of experience" reviewed them and everything was fine. It wasn't. I had to pay an HVAC company to confirm the hazard, and only then was I told they might reimburse up to $500 because they didn't think they could send someone out. When the "inspector" finally arrived, they were not inspectors at all -- it was two members of the original crew. They fixed the lights (well no disrespect) and removed the insulation, from the furnace just laying on the air ducts. However, as we were communicating via technology translator, I could not get any answer to any questions and was told to call the office. Since then, I've left multiple messages through their AI system and sent two emails. I have given this company over 4 weeks to uphold the customer service they say they hold themselves to and I still haven't gotten a single phone call, let alone an "inspector" to look over the work, but they my check cashed. Bottom line: The initial work was fine, but the promised follow‑up and customer care simply do not exist. Once the crew leaves, you are on your own. Tom the Salesman was excellent and so was Ricky and the 6 man team that completed all of the work. They thoroughly cleaned up the giant mess and hauled it all away for disposal. Tom was very responsive and addressed any concerns I had even before I accepted the project. Ricky and team were fast and efficient on completing the project. The only problem was when they moved a dresser to get access to the window, one of the dresser legs broke which made the dresser unstable and unusable. After receiving a letter from PSE telling us that we are using 54% more gas than other homes the same size in our area, we decided to get an inspection and estimate on our crawlspace. Daniel was a wonderful young man who was very thorough in his inspection and provided me many photos of our crawlspace. We had a poorly insulated floor, ducts with failed elbows, and all types of insulation missing or down. Even our vapor barrier was pulled away badly in areas. Diego showed up on the scheduled day with a team of guys who all seemed to know what they were doing. They fixed it all and sealed the seams with a paste type sealant. The last thing that they do is install the new 10 mil vapor barrier. They even installed a door onto the crawlspace opening. Diego must have taken over 400 photos of the work as it progressed. All those photos added to my confidence that I was getting the work done properly. read more

I was looking to do a replacement of my roof insulation and these guys were very professional and courteous through out the process - Tom was very upfront and straightforward with the costs and when an unexpected event happened during the day of install, he went over and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. 5 stars to him. They provided excellent value for the $ I spent. On the day of the install, Ron and his crew came by and did a great job of removing the old insulation and laying out the new ones. He was also very thoughtful and answered all the questions I had. Rate him 5 stars. As I wanted an attic fan and our roof was metal, the very next day Tony and crew came up and finished putting up the attic fan and I particularly liked how he went above and beyond in the quality of how he put that together. He also made sure to check and fix all the ceiling cans etc. that had moved due to the set up. I again would rate him 5 stars as well. I got all the before and after pictures sent to me by Laurie from their office. She also helped me set up the inspection for 2 weeks after install. Again, a wonderful experience. Would rate 5 stars. Finally today we had the first inspection after the job and Alfredo came in and did a wonderful job sending me pics and vids to make sure everything was working as expected. Again a 5 star rating. Strongly discourage anyone from working with this company or any company associated with this ownership/management. They do not stand by their work, are extremely defensive about providing any support, and extraordinarily disrespectful. If you want someone to yell at you on the phone, maybe they're right for you? Full story: In April of 2023 the Super Attic team came to my house to insulate my small garage. The project went well enough, the insulation was completed within the day, barring a few minor miscommunications, it was fine and the price was fair. They were to insulate the garage and, specifically, seal some remaining cracks. I specifically requested the project manager to seal the gaps to ensure no air or water got in, and he assured me at the time his guys would take care of it. They also went out of their way to verbally assure me that if we had any issues afterward we should immediately reach out -- big mistake on my part for not getting this in writing. In January 2024, I noticed a leak in one of the stud bays. Specifically, the stud bay with our gas furnace exhaust which produces water vapor. Normally, that leaves the pipe as vapor, but some of it will condensate and drip around the pipe, especially as it gets colder. I expected the gap around the pipe to be sealed given the assurances the project manager gave me at installation time. However, when I removed the insulation, I was surprised to see spray foam instead of sealant in the crack, which is _not_ waterproof. If anything, it acts like a sponge. The water had soaked into the foam, run down the wall between the sheathing and the siding, soaked into the insulation, and then frozen into an ice block (see attached picture). I contacted the team letting them know what I had found and had asked for their help. My email read: "My ask from your team would be to remove the foam, properly seal the gap, and then replace the insulation for this section." After this, I went ahead and fixed the sealant myself, as it was actively leaking and I couldn't wait -- easy enough, it was a tube of caulk from Home Depot and about 5 minutes of work. Dany, who I assume must be the business owner or manager, got back to me 2 days later in an almost comically defensive and hostile way. From the start he made several incorrect assumptions: freely admitted he knew nothing about the project or our home, claimed it was over a year ago, thought I was complaining about a roof leak. He was extremely defensive about his team, he claimed they were not trained or skilled enough to do this kind of work (again, I think he thought this was a roof leak). He said, paraphrasing: "OK, what if we fix this and it fails again in 5 days, who's responsible?" His posture from beginning to end was "This isn't our problem". At this point, I got quite frustrated with his patronizing tone and defensive behavior, and I called him out on it, at which point he decided it was appropriate to get into a verbal argument with me about how I needed to "be more respectful" and that I needed to be nicer to him. I made it very clear on the call that all I was asking for was replacement insulation, at which point he realized it was going to cost him a lot less, and yet he insisted on continuing to demand that I show him respect. I mentioned I'd be leaving a Yelp review about my experience, which put him into overdrive. At this point, I realized there was no chance he was actually going to help, and I told him I wasn't interested in continuing the conversation and I ended the call. I fully expect to get a review response from a Super Attic representative attempting to deny this, but it is the genuine truth. If your project is simple enough maybe they're fine, but god help you if you end up talking to Dany. read more

I had a fantastic experience working with Super Attic Solutions. We had to service my Grandmothers house in Edmonds, built in the 1960's with a total attic/basement re-insulation. We queried yelp, and Super Attic Solutions was one of the first to respond. They were fast to schedule the initial estimate, and it went well - we were able to address all of our concerns, and even set the work up to be done 4 days after, to be completed in one 10-hour day. Sure enough - Erin and his crew showed up first thing in the morning. The team set up a ladder to the attic window, entering and exiting there, completely bypassing using the main house/stairs - it was amazing. They were meticulous - from cleaning out all of our previous insulation, to removing and reinstalling hardwoods that covered floor insulation, to neatly foaming and concreting holes in the basement. I would actively warn others to not use this company. This was the first company that I got a quote from for my crawl space insulation/rat issue. Note: Super Attic Solutions and Attic Crew are owned by the same person. I confirmed this via the contractor license lookup website The estimator arrived on time with 1 other person. The two spent about 10 minutes in the crawlspace before giving me the quote. Then Dany sat me down to tell me about the issues. He said that I definitely had active rodent activity and that my crawl space insulation needed to be replaced. His estimate was $5500 to replace the insulation in the subfloor, vapor barrier, and rodent control. He also offered 500 off if I booked one of the open spots in the next week. The price seemed high to me but this was the first quote so I did not have a baseline yet. I did research on my own and asked Dany further questions. He did respond to my emailed questions with a call. None of his responses were correct as I later found out. Update 11/2: I got 6 quotes total so I have seen the variation in quotes so I came back to update this review with additional observations and to respond to the owner's comments. The "duct refurbishing package" is just sealing up of all the air ducts (not replacement), which was included on other quotes as well, so I do stand by my statement that this is the among the most expensive quotes I got for insulation work alone. 1. Dany said I needed R-30 insulation which is much thicker than the depth of my 6 inch subfloor. Every other quote recommended R-21 insulation given the depth of the subfloor. One quote said I could do R-25 but they would not be able to support it with twine because the insulation would extend 1-2 inches beyond the depth of the floor. R-30 would mean I'm insulating the air. 2. Dany said that the insulation is 16 inches x 16 inches and fits perfectly so no additional supports are needed. Standard is securing the insulation with twine. I do not want my insulation falling down after all this money is spent. 3. Dany said I needed a 10 mm vapor barrier. Multiple different companies said 6 mm is standard but one other quote did offer a 9 mm vapor barrier. 4. Dany did not mention that I had any issues with my flexible air ducts. Multiple companies found that the flexible air ducts were compromised and recommended replacing most if not all of them. This part is more debatable because if I wanted to save money, I could just not replace them and just reseal the connections alone. 5. I got 2 other quotes for ~$2000 less for the same insulation work that Super Attic Solutions quoted me. This company charges a lot more for the same work. read more

This company completely replaced the insulation in our attic and crawlspace about a year ago. They told us they rodent-proofed the whole space, which was great since the house had previously had some mice in both areas. Recently, some squirrels managed to chew their way into the attic. Alfredo came by, saw that they had left during the day, and sealed up all openings he found on the outside. Ron and his crew came out and did a great job of performing the extensive service we needed. In one day they removed all the insulation, remediated the mold and mildew, removed rodent egress points, and installed new insulation in our attic, crawl space, and basement. They showed up on time, Ron was exemplary in keeping us up to speed on the progress, and they cleaned everything up very nicely. The crew took detailed pictures of before and after which we were able to review at our leisure.
