Also alpacas and horses reside, they came to greet us as we walked through the field. If I was more patient, we could have waited for them to pick the tree up with an atv and trailer, but I opted to drag it out. They provide saws, and all trees are one price, and much lower than many of the places around, under 40 bucks! For $2 more, they will send your tree through a bailer for easier transport and bringing it inside. I even saw them tie one to the roof for another family. The owners and family are quite knowledgeable and will offer to show you a specific variety of tree and sends you on your way with excellent instructions to make sure your tree lasts the duration. They trimmed off the end, tied up the tree and tied it onto our car quickly and with a smile. Worth noting; the cut-your-own lot doesn't allow chain saws, but they provide hand saws and a sled so you can pull your tree from the field to your car.

I also found the prices to be really reasonable, especially for some of the more uncommon offerings. I found some fairly unique succulents that were priced in the $3.99 - $6.99 range. A friend of mine had also asked me to look out for Thai Constellation Monsteras (becoming less and less rare, as it's the new "fad plant", but still), and I found a couple different sizes... all seemingly in proportional cost to what you'd fine at a big box store, but of higher quality. My mother ended up finding a pretty sizable hibiscus plant that perfectly reasonable in cost as well... and she stocked up on plenty of veggie & herb plants, including some heirloom tomato varieties that are hard to find. All their items are in really wonderful condition - nothing browning/crispy/dying, and I don't think I saw a pest (fungus gnat, etc) or anything the entire time I was in the store. Honestly, everything in the store just appears lovingly cared for. I'll definitely be back on my own, and my mother even said we should make it an annual tradition to visit here before Mother's Day and stock up on plants. Sign me up!
