I took pictures of what is inside each bag you give your team for each home use to clean. How can you expect professional home cleaning services when you do not provide a professional home clean equipment; supplies? The ladies should not have to use a wash rag to clean a shower or bathroom . How can one possibly clean mold or dirt from shower tiles using a washcloth . Right a hand held scrub brush be more appropriate ?? The sponge provided to clean the oven isn't appropriate to clean an oven - the sponge falls apart in your hands when you hold the sponge. The mop provided is nothing other than a single attached fabric that isn't acceptable for commercial or residential ongoing cleaning services. An initial professional deep clean for two ladies at 3-4 hrs for $250-350 - one would expect as a (business owner myself ) that adequate professional supplies would be available for the cleaning team. Your representative claimed that Molly Maids uses hospital / commercial grade cleaning products as well as provides all necessary and professional grade cleaning supplies that the team brings with them to each home on the schedule to be cleaned. Clearly that is not the true! The false advertisement and poor quality of supplies given to your team is disgraceful. I certainly can understand why the initial clean on 5/20/26 was not able to be completed in its entirety when adequate supplies are not provided. Cleaning is a hit or miss. I requested the same housekeepers each visit and they did not follow through. Cleanings are a hit or miss but when I walked in to counters not wiped, restrooms not swept and an awful job all around, that was the final straw. They didn't move nothing and sure did take payment, which is pretty high. Would not recommend this cleaning service. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE! Do not Recommend I hired Molly Maid for a deep cleaning move-out service, and the experience was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. The cleaning did not match the promises listed on their website: "Countertops and sinks cleaned and sanitized", "Showers, tubs, toilets, and sinks scrubbed and sanitized" The quality was UNACEPTABLE! I even had to ask for the bedroom to be vacuumed again because the edges still had dust, dead insects, and debris. This added time without improving the results. I took photos and shared them with the Molly Maid representative, but they offered no help or concern. They only cared about getting paid, not about delivering quality service. This I believe is my 5th visit from Molly Maids. I've never had a bad experience. Not all of the experiences were the best , but none were bad. This week I had Herlinda and Martha. They did a great job cleaning. They cleaned the downstairs of my 3 bedroom townhouse, 2 bathrooms, the kitchen, and the den area. i was happy with the outcome. My only complaint with Molly Maid is I wish there was consistency in the people coming to clean. I don't like different people each time. read more

I cannot tell you how bad my last deep clean was. They charged me over $500 (plus an extra $60 for 30 more min of "cleaning") and I spent an hour going behind them and moving all of my furniture back where it was, cleaning everything they missed and then I walked outside and they had dumped all of the cat litter they had swept up on my walkway. Requested a deep clean for our newly moved in home. Wanted the peace of mind of returning home from a relaxing brunch date after a week of packing and unpacking and came home to a subpar cleaned home. Before we left, the maids stated that our service was marked as a "move out clean" and that they expected the home to be empty and unfurnished. I never, ever said that was what I was looking for, not during my online quote request nor on the phone with their scheduling coordinator. I said this was incorrect, and they began to work on what I guess was a standard clean. I got red flags immediately as I saw one of the maids "dusting" our blinds by tapping them with a duster rather than actually cleaning them like I expected them to. She also stated it would be about 3-3.5 hours, it ended up being around 4.5. When we returned home, we found dust in corners, our baseboards untouched. Small items or debris we left on the ground were in the same place. The oven was untouched, the cabinets disregarded. Soap scum still on our sink countertops, the list goes on. I called asking them to avoid charging my card until we got this sorted out, they went ahead and charged me anyways. The following Monday, their office assured me that a deep clean was the same price as a move out clean anyways, even though I never got the "deep clean" I asked for to begin with. I tried to reason with them to reduce the price to a standard clean and they profusely denied, as they have a "no refund, 100% clean guarantee" instead. They sent a new crew out the next day. They arrived today, and the lead crew member began asking me questions about what EXACTLY had to be recleaned. The impression left by the office staff implied that the entire service would be given again, not that I'd have to hand over a laundry list of items for them to focus on. This was pretty annoying. They then tried to leave without even going upstairs, which is bonkers. One of my main complaints on the phone was that so many of the issues were not resolved in the upstairs portion of our home. My girlfriend suggested this place as she has had good experiences with them in the past, but even she was shocked to see how awful Molly Maid's service was for us. downstairs cleaning of a two-story house and one bathroom upstairs. One of the maids worked on most of the house while the other made was in 2 1/2 bathrooms for an hour and a half. They were late arriving by 30 minutes after waiting for four hours. I was quoted an hour and a half for the cleaning when estimator came they said they needed another 30 minutes after being late. I spoke to and Amy, who were of no help and were supposedly managers. I told them if the work wasn't done correctly and completely then I would not pay the full amount. They put me on hold and tried to charge my credit card, but I had locked my credit card thankfully. they did not finish the job and the maids left without doing the kitchen or any of the floors because they said they were going to be late to next appointment. They were directed by Amy to leave and go to the next job, even though they finished the current job. My husband and I had to finish cleaning the house even though we paid them $150. There was not any cleaning products used on the or the kitchen table and I was told that they do not use any products. So much for cleaning and disinfecting the countertops. This was the worst management team I have ever had contact with this was the second time I've used the second time I've had to talk to the management team. It is also the second time someone called to tell me they needed more time. I think they have figured out that if he works slow slowly, it looks like you can't get the house clean and you need to add more time which cost more money. read more

Hired the Molly Maid to do a move out clean and while the shower was cleaned wonderfully, the rest of the house was less so. Cabinets and floors were cleaner, but I still had to clean a number of stains that didn't require any special cleaners or elbow grease; the work they did was closer to a wipe down rather than a deep clean. Several cabinets had bug droppings and dust and going through the house with a swifter cleaned up a number of dust balls. Most frustrating was the loss of a ceramic burner cover from our gas range. It'll be expensive to replace and customer server stated there was none when the cleaners arrived, which wasn't the case. I'd recommend this company only if you need a light cleaning and don't need to be critical of the results. I know I'll look elsewhere in the future. read more

This was our first time using this company and it was HORRIBLE. They provided an estimate (estimator bailed last minute and just did it over text) and had highlighted incorrect info. The estimator, Aide Pineda, quoted us 1.5 - 2.5 hour clean for a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, less than 1000 sq ft for around $109-$135 per hour (unclear quote because it for was highlighted wrong). They charged us $300 with no itemized receipt, and also lied about how long they actually cleaned our apartment. I know exactly when the ladies arrived and left because I was home and it was almost 2 hours exactly, yet they charged us for a full 2.5 hours?? I have it all documented. The ladies also broke a very expensive items of ours and then pushed the remaining pieces under to hide it and never reported it to me. This place will provide extremely vague, confusing prices and then charge you the fullest amount possible. We paid for a deep clean, yet multiple areas were untouched and they just cleaned around stuff. We will never be using Molly Maid again and we will never recommend this place to anyone. Such a shame because we are extremely loyal to businesses that provide our services. read more

Very disappointed working with them. They did 4 hours of work on my empty home for a move out clean, left dust, didn't clean the stovetop and counter, stairs weren't cleaned properly and much more. Called to share after they charged me (didn't send me an invoice) so I never knew it was 4 hours, expected 2 hours based on quality of work. I no longer have access to the space and the REFUSED any type of refund or credit for the poor work. Their only solution was to go back to clean the space I'm no longer living in. I chose Molly Maid in part because I appreciated the live walk-through from their rep Aide to assess the condition of my place and provide a quote. However, my first clean was awful. To their credit, they sent another crew to clean first thing the following morning. While the new crew cleaned some of what the original crew left, I pretty much got the point after that second crew: Molly Maid will only do the absolute minimum to clean your home. They cut corners everywhere and showed no attention to detail: - They lightly wiped around my stove, but for anything stuck on, they did not try to clean it off. They left grease around each burner. - My and my partners' entire work areas were ignored. Neither of our desks were wiped, the rug wasn't vacuumed. That entire section of the living room was bypassed entirely. The second crew vacuumed the rugs, but still neither of our desks were wiped. - Hair left all over the bathroom. - No effort to straighten up any loose objects (within reason) Again, credit to the Aide & the kind customer service reps for trying to work to find a solution, but at the end of the day this isn't the level of cleaning I paid for. read more

In a pinch, I called Molly Maid to see if they offered same day services as another cleaning company pulled a no call no show on me. I talked to a young lady named Tammy. I explained what I needed done and she said they could send a team out in the afternoon (thank goodness!!) I was quoted 128 per hour for a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment less than 1000 sqft. length of service being 1.5 to 2.5 hours. They (2 ladies) did in fact come when they were supposed to and Tammy kept me informed. They did a great job, however I found them to be a little on the slow side because at the 2 hour mark Tammy called to say that they would need an additional 2 hours to do everything. I let her know the tasks that I wanted them to focus on with the remaining half hour and all I needed to do was wipe down the inside and outside of the refrigerator and clean the countertops, so nothing major. They did do the oven, which I had pre sprayed with easy off prior to their arrival. For two people to be cleaning an empty apartment that wasn't trashed, I would have thought it would have been done at the 1.5 hour mark. All in all for me to call at 11 and they showed up at 12:45 it was a great service. Thanks again, I appreciate it!! read more

Disclaimer, this review is for a one time apartment move out cleaning -- I understand it's a completely different game cleaning a furnished and occupied house or apartment. Short Version: From the initial scheduling phone call to the day of the cleaning, to the cleaning and communications and payment afterwards, Molly Maid hit the ball out of park. I was very happy with the service provided and the pricing. Long Version: I was moving out a two bedroom apartment soon and I was so tired after moving everything out, I really didn't feel like going back there to that apartment that I spent the depressing covid year in and cleaning it too. So I decided to treat myself and get it professionally cleaned. Scheduling was a breeze on the phone thanks to the local rep that answered the phone and helped me decide on a time and options and was very courteous, efficient and helpful. Houston can be a rough town and sometimes we forget how being treated with respect and professionalism feels like. Well Kindra the rep reminded me what is like to be a valued customer. Within a quick few minutes, I was scheduled and set up. The crew showed up on time and while I was not there to see what they did, they cleaned the apartment to a state of clean so good it made me want to move back in. That apartment was not THAT clean when it was handed to me before the move in a year ago. There is an hour and half minimum on the move out cleaning sessions and they stayed within that time and used the time well to get every surface, nook, cranny, cabinet, fridge and over interior and exterior spotless clean. The apartment smelled of clean fresh fragrance when I came back to check on it. Also keep in mind that other services like More Hands no longer does apartment move out cleaning. So I am happy report to you that Molly Maids will not make you miss any other service and give you exactly the thorough cleaning you wanted. UPDATE: this company has insinuated that I am lying about the services I was promised (which I have no incentive to do). If I had been treated well I would happily have continued to be a customer despite the errors and bad cleaning service (everyone has off days). It's the deception and mistreatment I received afterward that have made this company exceptionally poor to work with and warranted this review. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Molly maids promised to fold and hang my laundry on top of ordinary cleaning services. On my second clean, they did not do that; nor did they clean my apartment well(there was still food in the sink, several items were out of place; did not follow instructions). I called to see why they hadn't put my clean laundry away. They lectured me about why they normally don't hang or put laundry away and that they were changing my services to just folding my clean laundry. I told them that is not what I signed up for and that I would like to cancel. They backtracked and said they would do what they originally promised they would do, but they were not happy about it. After the bad treatment and service I received I decided I didn't want to work with them anymore. I called for a refund. They refused to issue a refund. Worst of all, I contacted them to get my key back. THEY HAVE NOT RETURNED MY KEY to my HOME. Spare yourself the worry and frustration and hire another cleaning company who acts like they are happy to help you and follows through on their promises. RESPONSE TO OWNER COMMENT: your Molly Maids team is lying to you, or you are lying to save face. Molly maids records conversations--I recommend you listen to every single conversation I've had with your employees! Several of your employees are on tape admitting to promising to put my clean clothes away for me. Aide Pineda came to my apartment to give me the initial quote. She then agreed to put the clean laundry away for $30.00 if it took less than 30 minutes. If it took longer than 30 minutes she warned me that you would have to reconsider putting my laundry away or charge me more. Aide NOTES with my instructions for the maids regarding putting my laundry away AND that rule!! Your maids did in fact do my laundry as instructed during the first clean. After they failed to do the laundry the second time, I called Molly Maids. One of your employees lectured me and acted skeptical about why you don't typically do laundry--she then reviewed the *NOTES* and agreed that Aide set up my clean to have the maids to put my clean laundry away. Absolutely haphazard service. The ladies were very good but lacked efficiency. Below are a few mistakes: They called me that they were here but went to the wrong address( No big deal happens to all of us). 30 mins late. They forgot (I repeat forgot to vacuum our bedrooms and living room carpet) and left. I went to the parking lot to call them back. They did not clean the exterior of the kitchen appliances (as I was told by the customer rep during booking). There was hair all over our bathroom. They lack experience in organizing stuff after cleaning. We do most of our cleaning ourselves and we hired them specifically to get rid of the dust and make the house a lot cleaner like professionals. Every time they do the dish washing for me (there is one time I even paid extra fees), they always leave a little spoon in my disposal (one time is a plastic one and the other time a steel one). The second time it caused a serious problem with my sink disposal and due to the staff shortage problem, my apartment home couldn't send people to fix this for me right away. I had to tolerate the sink leakage and etc. for two weeks. I then called their service team, the lady on the phone keep on finding excuses for their team and that really pissed me off. I hired Molly Maids to come out to my one bedroom apartment to do a deep clean and signed up for weekly services. Upon coming home I could not even tell anyone had been in our apartment. They didn't do anything they said they would do on the estimate. The dust seemed worse than when I left!! The only reason I could tell someone was there was because the trash was taken out. They offered to come back out and do a redo to make it right, but I don't want them back in my home. I was told over the phone that they do NOT have a money back guarantee which I should of saw in the agreement, but I clearly missed it. They also told me they DO NOT claim to be perfect and are only human. I totally understand and get that, but it isn't rocket science. Maybe I am being to picky because my daughter is a bone marrow transplant patient and we need things done 100%, but I told them my needs and they didn't seem to have any issues. Super convenient and professional cleaning service! We were able to schedule an assessment within 24 hours, and had a deep clean scheduled by that weekend. We have 2 dogs and a cat, plus lots of nooks and crannies in our old bungalow where dust/dander accumulate. Josephina and Yuliza (team 7) spent HOURS working hard to get the house feeling sparkling clean. My boyfriend and I both work from home and it was no problem at all for us to be home the whole time - both ladies wore masks and were using disinfecting products on all the surfaces anyway, so we felt very safe Covid-wise. The central office will text you with reminders if you want, and will call you to approve any additional hours or services so there are no surprises. This last couple of cleanings hasn't been going so well. Somethings has been left untouched. Restroom sink was not clean and things on countertop was not straighten. My home has not had that fresh smell scent since my 1st two visits. I do not like how the ladies comes to me asking for cleaning supplies such as bleach, soap detergent trash bags when I first started this service I was told that they supply their own everything. My kitchen table and computer desk area was left untouched with trash left behind. The only thing that I hate is how the cleaning staff rush through things. I had a $500 gift certificate to use and the first time the cleaners came out there were two cleaners and it took them 4 hours to clean my really not that messy house. From the very beginning, the lack of communication, errors by the administrative staff and cleaning team, and lastly, the rudeness of one of the supervisors, Kendra, made what was supposed to be a convenience into a huge hassle. The estimator failed to disclose the charges correctly in her estimate, the team, sent to the house for an initial whole-house deep clean, simply did not clean one of the rooms since "the door was closed" (though I was home and they could easily have asked me if they were confused) and only did so after I had to call the main office (which made the whole cleaning take close to six hours), and Kendra was appallingly unable and unwilling to communicate effectively, even going as far as to try to disparagingly explain to me that "mistakes just happen" as if that was something I did not know in a very rude tone (mistakes do happen, but unfortunately with this company, it was only mistakes and not even one instance of correct execution/process). Furthermore, the team arrived 6 hours earlier than the scheduled time and the office began frantically calling while I was at work asking me to open the gate (when we had clearly agreed upon a more convenient time later in the day). It was clear from the start that once I agreed to proceed with their services and the transaction was secured, they simply did not have any interest in providing a good service. They were supposed to clean my house.The time allotted was 4 hours(2 people for 2 hours.) The firs time they were here,the job wasn't great but the last and second time was Dow. right lousy.They got done in one hour and 10 mins rather than the two hours.They didn't dust much of anything.Didn't bring their ladder in and failed to move a few,objects in the kitchen and bathroom,so didn't clean very well.I had marked areas with washable markers and theses areas were not cleaned.The owner offered to have them fix the job,but there were too many deficiencies and I couldn't stick around all day.They are supposedly a "professional" cleaning service.They left a lot to be desired.Needless to say I fired themThey also had sent out a different crew from the previous time.I Paid $ 159.00 for 2 hours of substandard cleaning help.You do the math.BTW the crews don't speak English very well. read more

This was the biggest waste of money! I hired for a one time move in cleaning. The house had previously been cleaned before we closed, but we had a pest control company spray so we hired molly maid for a cleaning post pest control. The two ladies who were here "cleaned" for 2.5 hours. When we came back we had to ask them to "re-wipe" 1/3 of the cabinets. I wish I had been more careful when checking their work. When moving things in I found more sticky cabinets and Uncleaned blinds and dust. Save your money do not waste your time. Monday has come and gone... still no call. I've been using them since December and recently fired them. They were overpriced and I didn't feel that the quality for a once a month visit was all that stellar. I have 3 dogs and I never found that it was incredibly clean, many spots were missed and I could tell that they were hurried by the way my things were thrown back where they go. I had to take 40 minutes going through and putting things in their proper place. My biggest issue was the customer service. It took several calls to ask about my rate and having it reviewed. They never called me back as promised. When I finally called to cancel, I told them that upset me and they didn't even care.
