Booked a Friday evening 630-830 Acrylic pour class. Booking via the website was an ease. If you check in on Yelp you get 10% off your beverages/food/ any purchase inside the studio. As I entered i was not greeted, so just walked over to art table and grabbed a seat. Waited about 30-45 minutes (there were other patrons waiting as well) was unsure who worked there as everyone had an art apron on. Eventually someone appeared at the front desk, walked over to check in and order food and drinks. They have libations (beer, wine, cocktails), water and mocktails. The food menu was limited (chips with various dips salsa, guacamole, aioli, Bavarian pretzel with dip, and other small snacks). Tried the chips with salsa and guacamole as well as the Bavarian pretzel (two nice sized pretzels). Our drinks came out first. We had to have them remade as they included edible glitter which wasn't listed on the drink ingredients we initially ordered. The chips, dip and pretzel were plenty to share between 2-3 people easily. The art class instructions didn't begin until about 745P. Not exactly sure what was going on regarding starting so late. But. Nonetheless, During the down time there are ice breaker cards on each table. Once the class started it was over by 845P. My friend wanted to do the resin project for her birthday so of course I said yes! I've never played with resin before. There wasn't a lot of people here the night we went so we had lots of table space. Our table was set up with our boards, gloves, sand paper & rags. Racheal was our instructor and she was AWESOME! Paula was working that night too & helping out. She got us our drinks & food and she was also great too! We had enough time to look over the menu & place our orders. I was exited to see that they just didn't serve beer & wine but had Truly's & a cocktail menu. I didn't see this on their website. I tired the glitter bomb even though they were out of cotton Candy & replaced it with something else which worked out. Later on I ended up ordering the pepperoni pizza which looked amazing & tasted amazing too! Was just right! Rachel explained the process prior to us starting. We were able to see other designs that were on the wall. You pick out a stain if you want to have some of the board stained which will show because you don't cover it up with your colors/glitter. Beware resin won't come out of your clothes or your hair. So bring something to put your hair up & be careful what you wear. You do get an apron to use but it doesn't cover up your clothes completely. I even brought some of my own glitter because I want sure if they had pink glitter but they have lots of colors to choose from. We had plenty of time to work on our project but once you stir your resin to get the bubbles you have 20 minutes to work with it. My friend brought her mother too & her birthday was a couple days after my friend's. Rachel was fun & had everyone sing happy birthday to them. :-) You need to leave your final project there for 24hrs so it can dry. My friend was suppose to pick mine up & give it to me next time I see her. I really liked the end product & can't wait to see it & use it for something. It's safe to serve food on it. My best friend has been wanting to take their Resin Board class for awhile now, and tonight was the night when our stars (schedule) aligned! We were so happy we purchased our tickets because it was definitely worth it :) I believe we bought it 3 weeks in advanced. We took the class with other parties, but we had our own table which was nice. You could order alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, appetizers, and some dishes like pizza! What a FUN & clean workshop at Downtown Summerlin (by the lawns). I came here with my girlfriend, for glow in the dark pumpkin painting. Not only did we enjoyed ourselves, but both of us already talked about returning for a different class! The staffs were very friendly & approachable. You are able to choose the size and different shapes and styles you'd like your sign. There's so many options It could be overwhelming. You then sand, stain, and paint/decorate your board. I do not have a single crafty bone in my body, but I am happy to try. CnC has a great selection of crafts on display for you to don on site with their provided instructions, tools, supplies, and guidance. I have been in a couple of times with mixed experiences but overall find it to be a great idea for a group outing. I was planning in another event with friends for a Girls Night Out before the COVID closures and do plan to reschedule. Most recently, I went in during one of their half-off promos (see tip at bottom) and was the only customer for most of my visit, which allowed me to get individualized help. I picked one of the demo projects and all went well up until it was time to use a stencil. They did not have the stencil available to go with the craft, and unfortunately the one they threw together for me didn't work well. Unfortunately their stencil machine was down so making another was not an option. I was offered the option to freehand it, which is not something I do well, and I had difficulty with the stencil I did use and was not thrilled with the results. I did enjoy the process though, and I like that the sign is now hanging in our home. The amount of assistance you get while working is somewhat dependent on which staff are present. Everyone has been friendly and helpful but if you are not inherently crafty and need more support, it may be better to go as a group with other crafty friends for help. Another project I did here turned out amazingly well when I went as a group, which seems to be their forte- they also have a food and drink menu available, as well as a private room for larger groups. Came here last month with coworkers from my department as part of our Christmas outing. I think we were the only ones there during that time, which is fine by us! I am not artistic at ALL. I was a little afraid that my work would turn out botched but the experience is what matters! First, you choose what you want to work on. They will get the parts for you while you choose the colors you want! Since I'm not creative or artistic, I just copied the colors that they had on display. I thought it was just a painting thing but you get to glue pieces together too! For the one I chose, after I painted all the pieces, I get to glue the pieces together. I had a super fun time! Celebrated my daughters 7th birthday here. It was an experience to remember. Not only was it fun for the adults the kids had such a great time. The staff was so nice and made sure to take care of everyone. We rented the whole studio. The front half was the crafting area and the back half had the food. The bar/ drink area was always up and running for the guests to order for themselves. We prebought tokens (for alcoholic beverages), pre ordered pizzas, had a donut wall, and the goodie bags were all taken care of. Before the party, I was always in contact with Desiree, the party coordinator. She was nice and made great recommendations for the party size. All my guests had such a great time. I love this place because it's not like your typical paint on a canvas class. They offer a lot of different arts and craft projects worth decorating your house with. Corks N Crafts is located in Downtown Summerlin next to the ice rink. Because we are still social distancing for COVID, there were no more than 4 people per table, it's about 8 ft wide. So if you're worried about social distancing, we were pretty spread apart, and wearing mask. My sisters and I recently attended a geode resin canvas class. Our instructor was very knowledgeable, helpful and explained the process very well. She spent time with each individual to help pick their colors and always checked up on us to see how we were doing. Because we never worked with resin, I wished I would have researched prior on YouTube what to expect. I would definitely do the class again. read more

I had high hopes for this place, and think it has so much potential! I took a "Macrame and Mimosas" class this past Saturday with a handful of friends - and we all left with mixed feelings. Overall we enjoyed the time together and were somewhat pleased with our finished products... But also left with a bit of a bad taste in our mouth. Our instructor was polite at first, but she rushed through most of the class and didn't take time to adequately demonstrate next steps. There were only 7 of us in the class total and she could have easily gave us 1:1 attention. But, when asking questions on how to do things, she was dismissive. Half of us were pleased with our finished product while the other half were not; I think if collectively we would have received a little more individual attention it could have made all the difference. Also, the class is called "Macrame and Mimosas", which is a bit misleading. It cost $40 and I thought with the materials came one included mimosa per guest. But that wasn't the case - nor was the shop stocked up on Prosecco for us to purchase our own when we tried. Disappointing on both fronts. Lastly, I signed up for the company's email distribution in order to receive 20% off my first purchase. I got an email with a coupon code, but despite trying multiple browsers I was repeatedly told the code was invalid. Not a bad experience, but I was expecting more. My review is solely based on our experience with the candle class. I called ahead and got a group of my girlfriends to sign up to do a candle class on a week night. The process online is simple and easy. Just pick the day of the week and it coordinates with what class is hosted that evening. It came with a glass of wine or a nonalcoholic beverage. It also came with a very small, mediocre charcuterie box. I am a vegetarian so I didn't eat most of it. I ate the cheese, probably Gouda or American. I remember it came with some tasty, yet hot little peppers, mustard, and some pita chip crackers. Honestly the time frame wasn't long enough for the class and the whole group felt rushed upon their closing time. All the bowls for the candles were different sizes therefore the wax dried at different rates. The stickers that they use to make the wicks adhere to the bottom of the bowl were faulty. One of my wicks didn't stick so therefore I can't even light my candle. I keep it in my guest bathroom for decoration. The process to melt the wax was an absolute nightmare. The machines were faulty and they all melted at different temperatures and rates. I was told that it was the perfect temperature so I poured my candle. I was the first one to pour and my candle never even dried before we left, whereas other people poured at different times and their candles were completely dried. The scents were nothing great to choose from. Since my candle didn't dry appropriately I felt rushed, frustrated, and my candle looked half-assed when adding the little flowers and shells. I felt like we were bothering the attendant running the class since we were there to almost closing time. My SIL and I came to pick up our candles later. I don't think I would give this place another chance at one of their other classes because how everyones candles turned out. read more

I actually feel really bad for writing this review however I think others should be aware if they plan on attending their "Brunch & Mimosas" Sunday class. I plaid $108.25 for my cousin & I to attend the class. The information online said Clay Wall art, bottomless mimosas & brunch. We came expecting basic brunch foods. Nothing too fancy. When we arrived the lady teaching the class wasn't there & the 2 girls working really didn't have clear instructions. They were waiting for the lady who is in charge of teaching the class but she wasn't there. They started by serving us our mimosas & "brunch." The brunch was 1 plate to share between my cousin & I of one bowl of yogurt with granola, one croissant, gummy bears & three rice crispy treats. The ladies working did not know how to do the project (not their fault because they weren't in charge of the class). So we just asked for a refund. I felt really bad asking for a refund but the experience we had was not what is advertised online especially the brunch. The ladies working were really nice & super understanding. I felt bad however it just did not meet our expectations. I was really disappointed because I had been to wood board making class a few months prior & had such a great experience. We had so much fun here! Corks n Crafts is like a giant craft room with every craft supply you could imagine. They have classes where you can make different types of crafts-- everything from painting to string art to macrame to resin. We signed up for a calligraphy class on a Sunday morning and we had a blast! It was a little bit on the expensive side at $65/person but we got to keep all the craft supplies at the end which was very cool. They also have a mini bar stocked with wine, beer, champagne, and a few select mixed drinks. They also have a menu with some snacks like a charcuterie board and hummus. My daughter and 3 friends went to slime camp today and I would NOT recommend it. The cost was $65 per child and was supposed to include 4 slimes. They ran out of time and made only 3. The 3 they made were such small amounts you can't really do anything with it. Lunch was pizza - each kid got 2 pieces. She said it tasted good but the pieces were so small and she was hungry. The lunch it is not nearly enough unless your child is preschool age; they should consider the ages of children attending the camp and plan lunch accordingly. Here are pictures of slime made. The yellow was 2 combined so she could actually do something with it. Save your money and take your child to an actual slime place. I'm editing this in response to the businesses reply - 2 of our girls asked for more pizza and they were told no because there was not enough for everyone. It's a shame if they threw it away when kids asked for another slice. I'd still recommend another place for slime making. The camp was fun but I'd definitely not recommend them for the slime camp if you want actual slime. read more

To clarify some things: no private room, just a private table in the back of 1 big room; no gourmet food, they did away with their pizza oven so they have chips and dip and charcuterie; no instructors, as I stated it is pick something out and you're on your own finding paint, brushes and a few random extras they have; alcohol is kind of a get it yourself as well since they don't really have anyone trained working at the venue. I saw some other projects on the walls that I would be totally interested to come back to for a class. And some just gave me inspiration to do on my own projects at home. This was our second time here. Today we attended a Santa and craft event and our daughter (4.5) had an amazing time. She made multiple craft items, had fresh made cookies and cocoa and the Big Guy showed up and she lost her mind. The team at Corks N Crafts are patient and kind and so helpful. I took my 12 year old daughter and her friend in there to do something crafty. They picked something out. They needed to cut fabric and use a glue gun for the activity. The scissors were almost impossible to use for an adult. I asked if they had different scissors, they brought out 1 pair and it had a ribbon wrapped around bc it was the "good" pair of scissors that everyone in the studio uses. My daughter went to go use the glue gun. It wouldn't get hot. Then we got another one and it was very gross and hard to use. One lady was at the end of her shift and was not very helpful. The lady who was coming onto her shift was very helpful. Personally, I just thought it was overpriced for what we got from it. I could have gone to Michaels and got the stuff for a lot cheaper and my kids could have YouTubed how to make what they did. read more

I've been here a couple of times. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because of the difference between an attendee and a hosting person. I had notified 2 people wanted to do 2 specific projects and those projects were not available. What's the point of letting you know what guests want to make if it's not going to be there for them to do and then they have to spend like 5 hours trying to complete the project. They also gave an option that seemed like a good option but became a detriment to finishing the project. Now the project is ending up in the garage instead of on the wall. What a waste of $45. Extremely disappointed just because it was time to close they just were like "you can take it home and finish it there and just wrap the twine how ever you want". I would have hoped for them to demonstrate on a couple of screws how to properly wrap twine. Plus it didn't look like it was on their website. Again, what a way to make someone just waste $45 on the project. The more I write the lower the stars and I don't give a 1 or 2 star because the first time I was there I had a wonderful time and I think if the employees were as invested to help on the second time as they did on the first than this place would always have 5 stars. read more
