I had the most wonderful experience thanks to Mary Beth! I ordered the 10-ounce sirloin with Marsala mushroom sauce and it was absolutely delicious--after a small hiccup that turned into exceptional customer service. When I ordered, Mary Beth asked exactly how I wanted my steak cooked. I explained that I like it somewhere between medium-rare and medium, as long as it's still pink inside. When my steak arrived, Mary Beth took one look at it and thought it might be a little overcooked. Before serving it, she asked me to cut into it and make sure it was right. While it was still somewhat pink, it was a little drier than I prefer. I was prepared to eat it anyway, but she immediately insisted on having it remade. The second steak was perfect and absolutely worth the wait. It was tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly the way I wanted it. Honestly, it was a 20 out of 10! It had me doing a happy dance at the bar, and I'm still thinking about it days later. The food was amazing, but what truly made the experience memorable was Mary Beth's attention to detail and outstanding customer service. We started coming back to Dave and Busters again more regularly after we signed up for their summer season pass. It's a great deal - for $149 (for the platinum pass) you get unlimited play through September 8 plus you can earn up to 2000 tickets per week which reset on Mondays. For some reason they didn't offer this pass during the spring, although they did during the winter. Thus, we didn't come as much during the spring. The platinum pass has no blackout dates and also includes 25% off food and non-alcoholic beverages. Overall, it's a great deal! We decided to have dinner before playing, and we were happy to see an updated menu. It was happy hour, so I enjoyed a couple of their tropical "dangerous waters" cocktails for the low price of $7 per drink. We tried the "cheesy spinach dip" appetizer. It was actually good, and this is coming from someone who is not a big fan of cheese. I tried the teriyaki steak entree which comes with "frizzled onions" and loaded mashed potatoes. I was actually impressed! The steak was actually fairly tender (not a filet mignon tender, but not bad!). I really enjoyed the pineapple slices, and the teriyaki sauce was not too overwhelming. The loaded potatoes were also really good. The portion size was overall just right! We were curious about the bananas foster pie, but we decided to try that next time. Dave and Busters - Summerlin My husband and I took advantage of their Winter Pass and got to play a lot of games. It was a really wonderful package. Downside was that we didn't rack up a ton of points, but we had so much fun that neither of us really cared. Our favorites are air hockey, skeeball, Yahtzee, gone fishin', knocking down clowns, getting a ball in a milk jug, ring toss, and one of the basketball games. We also both enjoy the coin slot machines where you get a lot of points if you cause enough coins to fall - it's a lot of fun. We also had dinner and I got a really great deal for a fish & chips and a $10 power play card. The fish was only okay, but the fries were great. My husband enjoyed his meal too. Downside? The service was slow. We got our food & drinks quickly once a server finally came over to us. We waited about 15 minutes. To be fair, there were a LOT of people there - at the bar & there to eat. How fun is this place?! Came for a birthday party and will be back for more... mostly because my husband has to redeem himself on all the games he lost! The food was good! He's a micheladas type of guy and they were really good! The bartender and staff were very nice. It was such a cool experience chilling and playing games with the kiddos. Definitely fun. Dave & Buster's is one of the most family-friendly places we go to, and we genuinely love spending time here together. Being able to play games and enjoy a full meal all in one place is such a great combo. Nothing says family time better than all of us trying to beat each other at games and talking a little friendly trash while we do it. One thing I really appreciate is how the dining setup works. You can sit down, place your order with your server, and then go off and play games while you wait. It makes the time fly by, and it turns a normal meal into a full experience instead of just sitting around waiting for food. The service has always been amazing in our experience. They're usually super busy, but the servers still make an effort to check in as often as they can. The food comes out in a reasonable time, and the quality and portion sizes have never disappointed us. As for the ambiance -- it's a sports bar style environment, and it works perfectly for what it is. There are tons of TVs throughout the building showing different games, so there's always something to watch no matter what sport you're into. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because when it gets really busy, ordering and receiving food can take a bit longer. That said, even during the rush, the staff does their best to make sure guests feel seen and taken care of, and I definitely appreciate that. Our kids were given Dave & Buster's arcade passes through the school for a fundraiser they participated in. When I walked in during the weekend, there was no one in front so we had to go to the bar area. We had to wait for 20 minutes until someone could help us!! The worst part is is that they tell you to go to the bar to get assistance but your kids cannot be at the bar so my children had to wait outside of the bar while I try to find someone to help us in the bar. How annoying! When they finally got their passes, they had a lot of fun. read more

Great customer service and super easy to book a reservation through OpenTable. We were seated immediately, and our server was amazing. The menu is huge with plenty of options for the whole family. We tried the Eat & Play Combo and it's definitely the best bang for your buck...$59.99 for 90 minutes of unlimited gameplay where you can rack up to 1,500 tickets. The food choices cover most sections of the menu, and upgrades for higher-end proteins (salmon, steak, etc.) aren't too pricey. The inside has tall booths and plenty of seating for both small and large groups. What we ordered: * Blackened Chicken Alfredo Seasoned blackened chicken with mushrooms, diced tomatoes, and alfredo sauce over linguine. Pretty good, but I felt like it needed garlic bread and some Parmesan to complete it. * Smokehouse BBQ Burger A 7oz burger smothered in honey BBQ sauce and topped with applewood-smoked bacon, sliced BBQ brisket, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and frazzled onions. I had it with sweet potato fries...they were delicious! * Bar Burgers & Wings Platter Smashed burger sliders and bone-in wings with our choice of sauce. We picked the Korean sauce with ranch and garlic fries. Wings were great, not very hot, more tangy and sticky, the fries were extremely greasy, and the slider buns were a bit soggy. On game days, wings are 10 for $10 and they were especially plump and on the large side in terms of wing size. Ribs and sliders were not bad, coleslaw lacked flavor and was really dry. I normally love GPT (garlic parmesan truffle) fries but thought these had an odd taste. Good selection of games to play, although very loud inside so not a good place if you want to hear each other talking. They seemed to be understaffed at the front desk and in the arcade area. This year I refused to cook Thanksgiving dinner. I just wanted to relax and let someone else do the cooking for a change. Since we really don't have any close family or friends nearby, our only option was to find somewhere local to eat. We called several restaurants in the Valley, and were happy to hear that this Dave & Busters location was open Thanksgiving Day (no reservations needed). Our party of 5 were greeted and seated right away. Besides us, there were a few other diners in the restaurant at the time, so service was pretty fast. Our server was upbeat and very welcoming. She took our orders and also offered some menu suggestions. She knew the menu very well which was a plus. Our food arrived hot and fresh. Everything tasted great. Not exactly a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. But it worked out and everyone was satisfied. We were all very surprised when the Manager came over to our table and thanked us for coming in on Thanksgiving. It was very genuine and made us all feel good. He handed me a couple of business cards for BOGO Free Play in the arcade which was a nice surprise. After dinner, we enjoyed playing games in the arcade; such a great way to end or unusual Thanksgiving holiday, but worth every second. Overall, our server was excellent. We had my daughter's wedding reception here and it wasn't good. So the pros: The staff was attentive and on the ball. The bad: The food was bad, bordering on inedible. We paid about $45/person and they served room temperature overcooked hard dry chicken nuggets, pigs in a blanket and wilted salad. We were really embarrassed for our guests who all left hungry. Really wanted to give 1 star but the wait staff did great. Never, ever consider bringing a group here that hopes to eat while they're here. Ick. read more

Our food was hot and fresh, it did take a bit to arrive to our table but Shaun would frequently update us about our order in the kitchen. Donovan went out of his way to check on us and print color pages for my kids, that was a nice gesture. Surprisingly, the place was not too crowded on a Sunday and we were able to catch part of the playoffs while enjoying a hamburger, wings, and mozzarella sticks. The games are fun, their prizes are really cool, there's something to do for a kid at any age from 4 and up. On the other hand, the noise, the acoustics and the prices ‍. It's always too loud, too dark and hard to run after younger children. It's also so hard to have any type of conversation if you're at the arcade area - it's like the volume is SO DAMN HIGH. Been coming here almost weekly for years now, nice little past time. You can really get a lot of entertainment and improve skills if you know how to figure out how to win the games and which games provide the best ticket value for the credits needed to play. Rashad has been here when we visit and he has been always friendly and helpful to us when a machine malfunctions. I honestly don't know how he keeps up with all the demand here especially it get so busy. I see the staff wiping down equipment and tidying up all the time. The bathrooms are well maintained and overall it is a very lighthearted ambiance here. As for food it's great if you're wanting a snack to fuel you or a few drinks for liquid courage to take on some new challenges. Some of our favorites are the angry birds and Star Trek coin pushers. As well as the carnival like simulators that involve throwing rings onto bottles. Looking forward to accumulating tickets here in the near future. read more

I hadn't been here in a long time so the menu and everything was new to me. Savanna recommended some items and they were all really good: 1. Chili Green Beans - what a surprise! So tasty, nice heat and flavor with the chili oil and peanuts. Beans were crisp - loved it. 2. Cauliflower - healthy side dish and I put it in the green bean chili sauce too! Was good! 3. Brussel Sprouts - more veggies! Had to try them! Overall pretty good - nothing they blew me away but solid. 4. Hawaiian Crispy Chicken Sandwich - I'm not an aioli person so I can't say if that was good or not, but the chicken itself was good! I love the other glaze sauce that comes with it. 5. We had another large get-together last night for our flag football team. So I used the app to get a free appetizer- we got the Nachos, now with white queso cheese, mmm, and some corn sprinkled in. And used the app to get 50 credits on our card. Yes, this is a good app. Tip: Get the app! User-friendly too. We put some tables together. We had six tables to make 3 large tables. We couldn't get separate checks. I felt bad for the server so I gave him a cupcake. And hubby gave him his last remaining cash. We had a really large group. A lot of stimulation- a lot of TV's are on, but there is something for everyone. Sports- every sport here, the news, etc. And it is loud. But the games are fun. It is a lot of fun to see our group's kids have fun. We were keeping an eye on them and taking pictures too. A lot of variety. Many interests. Our son got a neat prize at the store: a freezable cup. Went in tonight. Had a very disappointing experience. We were a large party and the waitress immediately didn't want to help us. I knew she was going to charge gratuity and was ready for that. What I wasn't ready for was her attitude and lack of explanation for anything throughout the night. Our meals for the whole table were ordered at the same time. Half the table had food and the other half didn't. She said it's because we told her we'd like separate checks (there were three, not a lot). They weren't just a few seconds or even a few minutes apart, they were a good 10-15 minutes apart when they were all ordered at the same time. We also ordered a few desserts and two came out at the same time, and then about 10-15 minutes later the other came out. She brought the bill over and I realized she up charged me for a side of ranch when ranch was supposed to be on the burger, it was just on the side instead of on the sandwich, which she asked about, so I wasn't aware that it was an upsell type of situation. I'm not mad about the $.59, I was just a server for a long time and I always explained how the menu worked, where the additional costs would be, and if a drink had free refills or not. We wanted to have a family meal to celebrate a birthday. The waitress knew this and put candles in the dessert but then asked if one of us at the table had a lighter and when we said no, she said she'd go find one... as a server, I always had a lighter on me or matches for those bday candles and I do not smoke. This whole night felt very haphazard, and hectic for a place that should be a well oiled machine. She did charge 20% for service that lacked any real service. She had runners come out with the food, and barely helped us with anything. We might have had a better experience with just ordering off a tablet on the table. Based on this experience I will not go back. It was expensive for something that was not a good experience. I don't mind paying for things when it's worth while. There's better food at local bars with lower prices and better service. I'd rather support them, than a huge corporation that doesn't actually put any effort in customer service. read more

Our server was very sweet and pretty attentive Food: Fried pickles 5 Ribs 4 Chicken sandwich 2.5- it came out of the kitchen way undercooked! Once a new one came out it was better probably 3.5 out of 5. Manager visited us and we give him a 5 star rating. He apologized and checked on us after a new sandwich came out, then offered us a game card since we were going to play some games after dinner. The arcade is smaller at this location than other locations I've been too. The music is loud and the arcade is still fun. Located on the North Side of town. It's HUGE! I guess they all are, but this one seems bigger than ours in SD. All the games were working, food was great, employees were all awesome. The gift shop was a bit slow, but the kids are up there at the counter really trying to make those tickets stretch lol.
