Not sure what the hype is. Second time trying Molly tea, first at UPenn and it was underwhelming given the popularity of this brand. Price is sky high for small boba .. they call it medium. With topping it's almost $10 each. If our bill is close to $20, Think we are paying $2 for the fancy takeout bag .. they asked if I wanted the bag .. ofc I said I want to .. after paying nearly $20 for 2 drinks Osmanthus tea .. with sago.. although good , bengong is still better and not as pricey. The other drink was topped with pecan whipping cream, we bought white jelly boba with it. First and foremost, the staff at this Molly Tea location is amazing. They were extremely kind and helpful. Overall, though, when compared to other locations, the drinks just aren't as good. The place was still pretty busy. Despite the fact I was there about 10 to 15 minutes before closing, there was a line with maybe 3 to 4 people in front of me, however, I was able to order my drink before they were done for the night. However, a defect of the fact I came so late was the fact that they were completely out of jasmine tea at this time so if you're hoping for something utilizing that, make sure you get there earlier in the day. I particularly went cause I wanted the promotional item, this bag was available if you made a purchase of about $14 or more, and you also purchased the Thai tea. It was completely sold out and the promotion ended today. I was super sad about this, however, something like that as a given when the location is popular, I did want to know if they had a certain amount allotted per day so I could come back, and they said they weren't completely sold out for the entire promotion. They did still have the stickers left, but I was hoping to buy the entire set so just opted for the Snowy Gardenia drink. I prefer my drinks at 100% sweetness, it did not seem like this was sweetened to that level it tasted like it was at 70%, which is standard. The whipped cream was also not as sweet as I typically feel it is. It was still refreshing, and enjoyable, but I was really hoping for consistency here. If they have another promotion, I'm interested in. I'll be sure to make my way back. Parking was super easy at this time which isn't always true. I think in part because 99 Ranch was already closed. This place has good milk tea. My husband and I ordered the jasmine milk tea and osmanthus milk tea respectively. While the drinks were not disappointing, I don't think they stand out compared to other tea shops in DFW. The service was efficient. When I came in, there was a line, but they cleared it within 10 minutes. The interior is quite small, and when it's crowded, it gets a little uncomfortable inside. I'll give them a break on the chaos that was Soft/Grand Opening Week. It's understandable that service was not top notch as there were like hundreds of people lined up outside. As far as the drinks, I like it. If you like the floral/jasmine type of teas, I think you'll like Molly Tea. The drinks automatically came with reduced sugar and ice. This actually helps with the flavors as you can actually taste the tea and not just straight sugar. I tried the two drinks and they were both tasty: Pistachio White Champaca Coconut and Velvety Matcha Supreme. IMO, their matcha is up there with the better places around DFW. I wanted to try the Salted Cheese but unfortunately it was not available when I went. Their packaging is better than any boba/tea place right now. The bag has like an insulation layer to help keep your drinks hotter/colder longer. I don't know how long these huge lines will last but hopefully not much longer... I want to try the other drinks! The tea and vibes of this Mollytea are amazing! There was a really long wait due to the popularity and high volume of influencer reviews but I would implore everyone to try their drinks! Efficiency level 10 out of 10! They cleared the long line in 20 mins. That is very good management for being opened for a couple of weeks. I tried their snowy jasmine and the pistachio foam coconut water. I couldnt taste a prominent tea flavor in the snowy jasmine tea. I liked the pistachio foam coco, it was refreshing. The service was good and our drinks came out pretty quick but for the price and for how hyped up it is the drinks themselves were just ok. The space did not have functional A/C so waiting 20 min for the drinks was more difficult than it should have been. The drinks were okay, but already melting when we got them. There is a lot of staff, but they weren't able to keep up with the crowds. The menu board was very challenging to read due to the small font as well. I would probably give it another try when the hustle and bustle of the opening has calmed down. The Jasmine tea was fragrant. The drink overall felt a bit underwhelming. I prefer chi cha sen over this. If you've never had Molly tea, I still recommend to give them a try. Service was good. Very busy on the weekends but they were quick and efficient with the drink order. Took about 20 ish minutes from waiting in line to ordering and receiving my drink. Very organized in who did what on the station whether is placing sticker onto the cup or calling out orders for people to receive. Also their merch are super cute. Google isn't showing my review for some reason despite published. Came around 4-5pm on soft opening day. I've had Molly Tea in multiple other states and they were phenomenal. Ordering was fast and the team was well organized despite the rush. However, what suffered was the quality control. I've never had such an underwhelming cup of tea. The signature floral aroma you can taste was not there whatsoever. The AC was not working very well and impacted the quality of the whip cream, which became clumpy and melted. I was incredibly let down by the failure to maintain the one thing the brand was known for. I hope they fix this issue before grand opening and that this doesn't remain a problem when the crowds die down. If I was buying from any boba shop, I wouldn't have much expectations. However, the brand prides itself on its tea quality and craftsmanship behind bringing the flavor of jasmine to stand out amongst other tea shops serving any ol' jasmine tea. read more

I went back there 5 days later and asked for the same order. It seemed like they literally gave 2 teaspoons of sago per fri k. It was very diluted and scarce.
