My girlfriend and I come here so often that we have quality literally almost tried every drink on the menu. The tea flavors are strong and tasty. I recommend you order online and pickup for convenience. My girlfriend loves their matcha drinks. I enjoy their tea drinks!

Molly Tea is always busy, but I had to get it while in the area since they shut down all the NY locations. Plus, this was so conveniently located to where I was staying while in Rockville. I got a classic Osmanthus Milk Tea ($6.79) with all the recommendations. It's so floral and refreshing. The straws are super thin, so you can really taste the flavors. Easily my favorite tea spot!

Molly Tea has recently opened in Rockville, close to the Twinbrook metro station. Inside the small shop there are two small tables and a few chairs. The storefront is bright and inviting. There are two touchscreens inside to place a drink order, and about 7-8 staff assembling the drinks. This seems to be quite a popular location, as the screen showing the order numbers was filled with multiple pages of order numbers and the counter was stacked full of drinks waiting for pickup. I ordered the Jasmine Citrus drink, and waited about 10 min before my order number popped up on the screen, and was ready to pickup. Jasmine Citrus was pretty good, a light and floral tea balanced with citrus from the several slices of orange, lemon, and lime.

Travelled 1.5 hours and waited 1 hour after ordering via app. If another person didn't suggest us ordering thru the app, we would have waited more. Anyway, got nothing to do that day so I'd say it was worth it (tried other places too). Seasonal mango drink was fave! One of my top milk tea places! Everyone was just waiting for their drink to be done during a 90F kind of day. Garage parking is free for the first 2 hours, but if you need more time, maybe you can move to the mall parking across the street.

The vibes and aesthetic of Molly tea is very much is like a cross between luxury brand milk tea x Pop Mart. I got the white champaca oolong milk tea with the recommend light ice and 70% sugar level with no toppings. I like that the flavor of the tea shines through with the floral but not overwhelming to the point it's more scent than flavor. Sweetness wise, it was a good balance of not being too sweet. My friend got the white champaca matcha with the recommended light ice and 70% sugar level, and choose brown sugar boba for the add-on. I felt the champaca flavor was not as apparent in her drink due to it being balanced out by the matcha.

I've been meaning to come here ever since I heard they opened but haven't had the chance to until today! When I first walked in I was kind of surprised how small the space was. There isn't much seating inside but there was a side that was closed off and said employees only. Maybe they'll open it up for more seating?? (I hope so) We ordered from the kiosk there were so many great drink options that I was so indecisive in what to get! I ended up getting the white champaca matcha which was decent, however I felt like I tasted a little more milk than matcha. My cousin got the pistachio jasmine coconut with sago, I took a sip from and it was pretty good I kind of preferred it over the matcha. The service was fast and the staff were friendly. The ambiance is super cute and I love how they have this little pink cart outside!

One of the best boba/milk tea shops around. The hype and the long lines are well deserved. Haven't had one that felt this high quality in the ingredients. Their jasmine tea is def a standout with how much flavor and how strong the aroma of the jasmine tea they use. Their sago and other boba toppings are also equally great! They were chewy and complements their drinks. Their ordering and pickup system could use more signs for clarity since they get really crowded and people are swarming inside and outside the store. Also watch out for people illegally parking the narrow street right in front. Popular for a reason. Can't wait to go back!

Finally had a chance to try Molly Tea after seeing so much hype on Instagram! It was a little busy when we got there but not too bad. They have garage parking nearby that was free for the first 2 hours just an fyi! There's not much seating in the shop so it's more of a to go place. There's 2 screens to order from or you can place an order via the QR code and then wait for your number to pop up on the screen or a text. I think one thing that could have been better is that when you order, there's a sign that displays your order number as either a drink they're working on or a drink that's ready. But when we saw our number flashing in the ready area, the drink wasn't ready yet. If they could provide some signs that mention this so people weren't confused that would be great. We were waiting in line for our drink but people kept on asking us to move since their drink was "ready" but so was ours according to the sign. Otherwise, I enjoyed our drinks! I got the Jasmine milk tea with oat milk & boba at 50% sugar and it was delicious. The Jasmine flavor def came through and I would go here again!

Cute shop with creative tea drinks. I tried the jasmine apple tea, which had a subtle but nice floral, fruity flavor. I found the boba a little soft but overall enjoyed the drink.

This is honestly the best milk tea option out in Rockville. I looked at all of the milk, tea shops along that street, and Molly Tea is to go to. It can get pretty crowded, during busy times, but that is expected. I managed to get my order just fine, and did not have any issues. I've been to many of the Molly Tea's in Canada, New York, in California, and this is probably the most easy-going one. The quality is pretty standard to the rest of the branches, and I did not have any issues. Expect the same sort of luxury ambience within the shop. I ordered the jasmine milk tea, and the Gardenia milk tea. This was my first time having the gardenia, which reminds me of the jasmine, but I still prefer the jasmine at the end of the day.

Jasmine milk tea with boba and oat milk was very good. The Jasmine definitely jumps out at you. First sip was soooo flavorful. Every sip after was good but not as good as that first sip. Service was fine - you order on a kiosk. It's super cute inside. This location is connected to a restaurant. They have a rewards club. I think they should offer an "extra sweet" option. I also think The cups are a bit small for the price.

This place had a lot of hype so I decided to finally go in when it wasn't so busy. Even though there was still a little bit of a line they worked really quickly. The inside is cute, but small and there is no seating outside. I would suggest ordering online and coming to pick it up. In terms of the tea itself, I was surprised at the lack of customization. I expected to be able to choose lactose free milk and the descriptions often talked about freshness so I expected fresh ingredients. It's seems to be a powder mixed with either juice or tea. The flavor was just ok, I think with the level of competition in the area I expected more. Some of the flavors were more unique for example I got the apple milk tea, but I wasn't the biggest fan of the combo. The tapioca bubbles were small and kind of disintegrate in your mouth, maybe thats just how they are, I wouldn't say it was a bad thing it was just different. If I was shopping at the Wegmans I would go back, but I wouldn't go out of my way for this place.

Absolutely love!! It's one of my favorite tea places to go to, particularly for the jasmine tea. My favorite was the pistachio jasmine coconut! It's floral, refreshing, and has a yummy foam on top. The vibes inside as well as the customer service are also top notch.

Definitely a preference so try one before you go all in. The food itself was kind of hit or miss, but when it hit it really hit. The butter burger and fish balls were alright in my opinion. Some nostalgia, but overall nothing too fancy. The egg waffles were really cool, I got a pudding filled one, and I'm definitely a big fan. They had a lot of other options too for the egg waffle, I will be back to try others. Service: The service was average for a small shop, seems like there is only 1 person working when I got there so they were doing everything from taking orders to making the food. Depending on time of day it might take longer for your order to be ready. Ambiance: The inside was decorated well and had some fun elements near the front door. Aside from decorations the interior was pretty normal, some seating inside for groups of 4.

I don't know if they don't have a strong enough blender or if it just wasn't blended long enough but my drink came out super icy. The balance was also off. A good yogurt drink is a religious experience, and though I could tell this used fresh ingredients, it just didn't come out 'right'. IYKYK. There used to be this place in College Park that had a GOAT mango yogurt drink but sadly they mowed down the whole plaza and I don't think the shop found another location. I'm in mourning. Ding Cafe has a lot of other stuff on the menu and apparently artisanal ice cream, which had I been hungrier I might have tried. Unfortunately, it shares a plaza with Mia Cane which has really really good Vietnamese Ice Coffee, so if I come back earlier in the day when caffeine isn't verbotten...it's going to be hard to convince myself to try Ding again since it's easier to find good boba tea around here than good Cafe Sua De (sp). I'll likely come back to try the ice cream and / or other caffeine free drink options though and hopefully I find one that works better for me.

Some seatings were comfy (the ones in the back) and the others was a bit hard. Most of the pastries are in the middle with sweet ones on one side and savoys on the other. The price was really reasonable. I saw so many savoy ones I would love to try if I ever visit at BF time. I saw they have Cronut (Croissant and Donut in one). I had had Cronut in Vegas (at the Paris Hotel), but the ones here looked a little different so I wanted to try. Mistake. It was extremely greasy. The oil soaked through the paper plate and I had to squeeze the pieces I cut with napkins to get as much oil out as possible. I would give it a 2 star, it would have been good if not so oily. The egg tarts on the other hand deserved a 5 star. Love it. The latte tasted fine, but it took them a while to make it (almost 10 mins) and served in the normal paper cup, I was hoping for a nice latte art since it took so long.
