Several of us stopped by for boba after a full meal of dim sum this past Saturday afternoon. I've never had Daboba before but generally heard good things from friends since it's a chain. I got their HONEY GOLDEN PEARL GREEN MILK TEA (0% ice, 25% sugar) since it was one of their signature drinks and top sellers. I thought it was just OK. The tea flavor was underwhelmingly weak and I wasn't a fan. The tapioca was fine, but nothing out of the ordinary. However, one of my friends got their JAPANESE ROASTED MILK TEA which was really good. The tea was strong and I think the roasted option is the way to go. If I ever come back, I'm getting this one for sure. My drink was a 3/5 but my friend's was a 5/5. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's also a good amount of seating here and we enjoyed playing Connect 4 while drinking our boba.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Daboba is worth a try (please get the Japanese roasted milk tea though).
I really liked my drink! I ordered the honey golden pearl milk tea, and it was really well balanced with tea, milk, and sugar (50% sugar). Usually, I get 30% sugar at milk tea spots, but that wasn't an option here. It surprisingly made the drink taste creamy! The boba was also perfectly chewy and bouncy. Whenever I'm in town, I'll come back and try their other drinks.
After reading so many positive reviews, I decided to give Daboba a try. I was really looking forward to getting my bubble tea in those cute little bear cups. Spoiler alert, no more little bear cups. : ( I traditionally order a taro milk tea with boba and I asked if they had that on the menu. They told me that three of their teas had taro, so I ordered the brown sugar taro tea. Now, usually you can taste taro throughout the tea. But, in this case, it was a strong brown sugar taste. It also had little pieces of an ingredient throughout the tea. I think that this was a powdered taro. I now know that I prefer having the taro taste throughout the tea. The place was cute and had some games for the little ones to play with. My tea was good, but definitely different from what I expected. Service was pleasant and quick. I just want customers to know that this is a little different, than your traditional bubble tea. It is also a little pricey. I would definitely go back again, but I would try another flavor of tea.
Great service, waiter answered all my questions about all the different flavors they had. Let me sample a big boba ball (made of grass jelly). They were super transparent about the drinks so I feel like I made good choice when ordering:) Cute interior, board games that you can play with friends! I got the honey pearl green tea milk tea with less sugar and ice. A bit milky and less strong tea flavor but it's ok still yummy. (maybe cuz i had less sugar). My friend's matcha brown sugar drink was super tasty though. I also really liked the wintermelon fruit tea. Super fragrant and delish.
Checked out Daboba with my kid today. She was excited about the cheese foam drinks and got the cheese foam seasons tea with boba. I got the seasons tea with grass jelly with 50% sugar. Both drinks were good. Mine wasn't very sweet though so I think the 50% sugar might have been mistaken for 0%, but I think that was the boba universe telling me I didn't need sugar today! Still, really good. Strong tea flavor! Kid really liked her drink. Said the cheese foam was tasty and that the boba was really good. Plenty of parking at the Talbot Shopping Center on the Pike. The shop has plenty of seating and well lit! There are games available! Plus there's wifi if you want to work while you drink your tea! Staff was friendly! Will be back to try more!
DABOBA is legit! Their classic pearl milk tea taste is the perfect balance. Their boba has a good, chewy, texture and flavor. I also tried their new big pearl series and while I was expecting a giant boba pearl, it was actually soft grass jelly. (Note: I asked for the skewer to showcase the pearl, otherwise it is just in your drink) The wait time for the drink can be improved.

The staff was friendly and inviting. We had the passion fruit green tea with boba and mango frappe (they used fresh mangos). They also use fresh passion fruit whereas most just use concentrate. Highly recommended you give this shop a try. read more

We were looking for a place to grab boba while we were waiting to pick up food and we stumbled upon this place. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy. Lots of people waiting for orders. The shop itself is not very big but its decorated nicely and has some good seating. They have a pretty good sized menu so it was hard to decide what to get. My fiancé picked the Roasted Brown Sugar Pearl Yam Milk Tea and I got the Roasted Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea (both at 50% sugar). It took a second to come out but it made sense because again it was packed. Very good drinks. Definitely was the perfect sweetness for us. The pearls were warm and fresh, great chew to them. The brown sugar flavor for mine was strong but again not too sweet. The Yam flavor really came through here and wasn't subtle like in other boba shops. If I am in the Rockville area, this might be my new go to place for boba. read more
Best bubble tea I've had in a long time!! So much time and care went into crafting each drink. I had the avocado yogurt tea, a combination that I've NEVER seen before. I'm a yogurt bubble tea fan. They actually put avocado bits into the drink. It was buttery and tart and sweet at the same time. Love love love the layers of flavor. In the strawberry drink, they had real bits of strawberry too. The shop's interior design is very cool and modern. Despite some typos in the menu and a long wait time because I went on soft opening day, this is my new favorite place! read more
I was really excited to try out this new boba shop in Rockville. I ordered the Roasted Brown Sugar Milk Tea which came with boba. The drink was good, creamy and sweet. I really liked the chewy texture of the boba. I also loved the little cup it came with! The shop is pretty spacious inside with plenty of seating. I wish they had music playing in the background though. The workers are friendly as well. Unfortunately, their credit card machine wasn't working when I was there. The girls at the counter were apologetic, but I had cash so I didn't mind at all. Although the boba is a little pricey ($6 for a medium), I would come back to try some of the other flavors. read more

Daboba is located in the same shopping center as Temari Cafe and has plenty of parking both in the front and the back of the shops. I decided to try this place since I like to try new boba places and ordered the Japanese Roasted Milk Tea with Grass Jelly as the topping. The drink itself was delicious! Not to mention the lids come in an adorable bear ear shape too! Everyone in my group loved their drinks. The service was great and attentive since my group and I were all first time customers. There was a good amount of seating and it wasn't that busy at all on a Sunday afternoon. read more

Daboba is one of the top quality boba spots in the area! Rockville has such a competitive market for boba since there are an infinite amount of spots to go to. I heard great things about Daboba so I knew I had to come try it for myself. I came in an hour to closing so they didn't have the giant boba I wanted to try. I ordered a simple drink, the honey golden pearl milk tea. It was pretty good! The milk tea itself was good and the boba quality was superb. I thought that it was really cute that they have a little bear lid on top of the sealed lid! It has a small opening so you just stick your straw through there and it will easily puncture the seal (so there's no need to add the extra force). read more
One of my favorite bubble tea places with new varieties always being created. Today were giant bobas and last time was the ube bubble tea. It came with red beans and was amazing. I would recommend always getting a large. The .75 or a dollar more is always worth it. Way too much ice, always get it reduced. The brown sugar tea is always a hit but can't have the ice reduced, not sure why. The matcha milk tea was also really good. I didn't like the golden pearl green tea and will get something else next time. read more

The mango frappe with yogurt is so refreshing!! The drinks we tried were not too sweet. I am excited to try their other yogurt drinks. There are lots of tables/seats, free wifi and games to play. read more
Super cute boba place! It just opened, so it was a bit more crowded then I had hoped, which unfortunately made service a bit slower. The bear themed cup lids and aesthetic make up for it though :) The Shooting Star drink was bear-y pretty, and I haven't really tasted anything like it before! The Fruity Party drink truly was a party of fruit, giving hints of orange and mango which was quite refreshing. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the selection is limited to less things than a normal boba place, and the prices are a little up there... However, this wouldn't stop me from getting a drink from here now and then, and you should definitely check it out for the vibes. I mean, look at that lid read more

I had to get my boba fix, so why not check out Daboba to see what the hype is about? Though one of the workers did not seem thrilled to be at work, I guess that is due to today being NYE. Hey, I don't blame the worker, but a greeting would have been welcoming. The interior of the establishment is charming yet simple and neat! Daboba offers various flavors, yet some are pretty creative and unique if you ask me! Since I don't like my drinks too sweet, I got my beverage at 50% sweetness level, which was perfect for my preference. It's worth a try for you bubble tea lovers! :) read more

Daboba has a wide selection of boba teas from classic milk to warm drinks. The service is quick and extremely helpful. The owner had a lot of recommendations for warm drinks since I came in on what could be best described as the world's coldest day. My new favorite boba place! Beware, the hours are different Google maps says they wer open today at 11am but yelp had it listed for 12pm. They were open today at 11am when I arrived. The staff here are super friendly and accommodating. I ordered honey boda green tea, strawberry yogurt, and melon tea. I was surprised that the melon tea already comes with nata jelly and boba. All the drinks were delicious. I love their honey boba. They have a spacious indoor seating with games and a gender neutral bathroom. read more

It's always fun to try the new boba place in MD and this menu was huge here. I opted for the classic brown sugar milk tea with bubbles and the taro fresh milk with mini sago and rice (this one is made this way). I would definitely recommend that you lower the sugar if you like your drinks on the less sweet side. I got the brown sugar with 50% sweetness and it was quite sweet. I imagine it was because of the additional brown sugar syrup. The bubbles were soft and chewy though and I loved the packaging! I really liked the flavor of the taro fresh milk drink but I'll definitely be adding extra bubbles next time I get it! read more
I came in yesterday with my sister to get a drink. I got the avocado yogurt and loved it. The service is always A+ everyone is so friendly and nice. It's a nice place quiet place great for friends gathering. They do have board games etc to keep you entertained as well. read more
Great little shop located on Rockville pike across the street from pike kitchen. It's a cozy place that's chill. We played some connect four while enjoining our drinks! I had the yogurt mango frappe and my wife had the cheese foam milk tea. The service was quick and drinks were delicious read more

Came here for the cute bear lid but was pleasantly surprised with the boba. I'm always hesitant when trying places that seem cute and instagramable since the food/ drinks typically aren't in par with the aesthetics. I ordered the brown sugar with cocoa boba and it was really refreshing and you could really taste the cocoa. I ordered with 50% sweetness and it was perfect. Service was greatly great too and the cashier was super helpful with what to order. They were also very quick which is always appreciated. I like that they flash your number like at the MVA so I don't have to listen for my order being called. Ambiance was peaceful and a quaint place if you wanted to just sit and chat. Went when it wasn't too busy so there were enough seats and games were available to play as well. Will go back to try the cheese series next! read more
Heard this place opened recently and of course, as a bubble tea lover, I had to try it. I like the shopping center that it's in too, lots of parking and pretty spacious, easy to find as well. The place was bright and nice since it's new. Limited seating just like any other bubble tea places in the area. I ordered the mix fruit yogurt with 50% sugar and got my husband the mango frappe. He originally wanted passion fruit green tea but they were out of green tea. Both drinks were pretty good, really enjoyed the yogurt series! They come in cute cups too :) staff were nice and shy. read more
All positive experiences here. Came to try the avocado yogurt because I hadn't seen that combo at other shops I've visited. I love yogurt drinks and avocado smoothies, so I had to try. The boba was an extra 0.75 cents, but I got it. Having it as an extra charge was the only thing I didn't like. The drink itself was already $6.99 before taxes, so adding boba came to over $8, which I think is a lot. Great drink though. They use real avocado and there were small chunks of it at the bottom and blended in with the yogurt. I got it at 20% sweetness. The frappe series also sounds good, so I'll try that another time. read more
