My daughters (10 and 12) love boba drinks and Kokee Tea has become one of their favorites. It's a kiosk located on Montgomery Mall on the lower level by the entrance to Macy's. They have a lot of flavor plus there are a lot of options without tea for kids. The girls typically get the fruity drinks or the smoothies with boba. I have had the regular milk tea (with 50% sugar) and it was really good. The staff is also very friendly and get the drinks out quickly. Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend.

The macaroons were okay! I think they were pretty good for a random food stall. They definitely weren't spectacular, but I don't think they're disappointing. I think it would be a great little treat in the middle of shopping. The crème brûlée didn't really taste like crème brûlée to me, it tasted very plain and simple, but in a refreshing way. The raspberry macaroon had a dollop of jam in the middle and it Tasted very light and fresh. The fruity pebble macaroon did taste like fruity pebbles, and Reminded me of how fruity pebbles would taste cooked into a rice crispy treat. The bubble tea was OK. The texture of the Boba was OK. The tea itself was kind of thin? the taste was OK; it was kind of plain, but not in a taste bad way. There was a deal where if you got three macaroons, you got a drink for half off and I think that was a pretty good deal. I think I'm satisfied with the quality and quantity of what I got for the price.

The Taro Milk Tea "Purple Love" was very good, it had a smooth and creamy flavor that tasted amazing. It was ready quickly, and the staff were efficient and organized.

Sat at the bar in back. Soft shell crabs were terrific - went with the fried option rather than…read moresautéed, quality fries and a killer kale and apple salad. My Mom had their green beans as a side and I had a few - they were crispy and very good. Too many places over cook things. Waitress behind the bar was great. Nice 'neighborhoody' casual atmosphere. First time here - will hopefully be back within a few weeks. Five stars, albeit based on one visit Decent beer selection, nothing I hadn't had before. But that's a personal problem, not a restaurant problem. ;-)

Three stars for the nostalgia of rum buns alone. Been meaning to stop by this place for YEARS and…read morefinally made it! Any Marylander of the Boomer and GenX generation knows about O'Donnell's RUM BUNS. I used to come here with family back in its heyday and these were served table side before our meal. How crazy is that, a nice lil somewhat sinful dessert BEFORE some MD crab?! Those were the days! The rum buns are more nostalgia more than anything, I wouldn't say they'll blow your socks off, but hey, nostalgia is nostalgia. Well, I'll need to dine in here for a full and complete verdict, but my quick grab and go visit was a tad chaotic. Service for taking orders could improve - you walk in, there's a seafood counter to your left, bakery counter to your right (both were unmanned when I walked in) and in the middle is a deli section with the cash register where I assume they take orders. We stood there for a few good minutes before getting anyone's attention despite the fact a manager asking staff (not customers) if everyone was being helped. Clearly staff did not know who was waiting to check out, take orders or just waiting for their orders to arrive. So it was just weird. No one greeting you as you walk in either, it just also weird because there's no clear line anywhere you stand. Otherwise, rum buns were as I remembered them. Also picked up crab dip and chicken salad from the grab and go section from the back and they were just ok, not bad, not great. So will come again for a future visit hoping to have a much better meal and experience!
