I went there today and John started to work on the picture and frame immediately. He spent maybe an hour freeing up the existing photo and transferring the new one. Everything came out perfectly. Where do I begin?? I had 6 Fine Art pictures I wanted framed. After going to Michaels down the road and being told the sizes of my pictures would run me about $500 per picture I decided to look elsewhere. This shop is two block from my house and I'm kinda upset I didn't know it before. Anyways, I found out we share a love for landscape photography and when I came into the gallery I wasn't let down. There's dozens of BEAUTIFUL artwork hanging in the gallery. All feature his unique custom frames (some that are made out of drift wood). Once he showed me around, we started working on selecting matting and frames for the pictures. I never realized how tedious this could be. Trying to find the right colors to match and bring out the picture was fun. After it was done, I stayed and talked to Doug and we got lost in conversation for hours. This man is something else and his background is pretty awesome. 25+ years of framing is a long time and his dedication and experience definitely shows. I will ALWAYS come here for any framework I need done now. I will post another review with pictures once I receive my finished products, but I highly recommend this place. read more

I am on my third project with him -- a thematic float frame customized for my print only. I know of no one else that does customized float frames for metal prints, and I've been looking for quite some time. I received the custom signed social distortion print I got my son for Christmas last minute. I decided it needed a frame so started calling around. Surprised to find out the lead time for most places was 2 weeks. I called mom & pop's on a whim. Spoke with owner at 2 who said he was closing at 5. Was amazed when he said bring it down and since he knocked out all his work, he'd do it for me last minute. He called me back a few hours later and it was done. Upon arriving, I walked right passed it on the stand, not realizing it was my framed and matted print. It looked that damn good. If the owner could do this kind of work in a few hours, I can't imagine what he'd do with more time. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the owner for making it happen for Christmas, for my son. He was such a cool guy with a great sense of humor. And upon looking around the showroom, you could see some of the amazing framing jobs he already completed. Just want to say thanks again to him and wish him a very Merry Christmas. I cannot adequately express how impressed I am with Mom and Pop's frame shop! I needed art framed by a Wednesday for my wife's Birthday and unfortunately some of the product needed to make the frame was on back order. We went into this shop to get our pictures taken for our Canadian Citizenship Certificates. Doug was so kind that waited for us even after closing.
