I am partial to hot roast beef sandwiches, and this was the best I have had in a long time. The beef was cooked through and the gravy was flavorful. My companions ate from the all-day breakfast menu. Offerings are flexible so bacon comes regular or crispy, sides can be all bacon, all sausage or two of each! Delightful Gabby took our order and was welcoming and personable. Her mom works there too, but is not the eponymous "Mom". Tables were clean and silverware comes out once you are seated. Some locals entered just ahead of us and directed us to seat ourselves. Went here yesterday for breakfast, and it turned into a burger brunch, as we both opted for burgers with fries. This isn't the first time we've been here, though it's been a long time since we sat way in the back. We remember when Mom's was on River Road, then closed that spot and moved here. Wishing they would invest in some better benches as many are torn and taped up. We are both photographers, and personally I LoVE the old pictures on the walls of Niagara Falls and the waterfalls. They continue to give a military discount, so just show your ID or VA card to get that. read more

This was our second visit to Mom's family restaurant in Niagara Falls, New York. It is truly a place to stop if you want that old-time diner feeling and delicious food. Today we stopped for breakfast and it was outstanding. We both ordered the egg and potato special, although I chose to have raisin bread for my toast and asked if they could add the onion and bell peppers to my potatoes. One of the things I find unique about this place is that although the potatoes are home fries, you have the option to have them either grilled or deep fried. I am not a fan of deep fried home fries, so this made all of the difference for me. Spouse had his eggs over medium, grilled home fries, and Italian toast. All was excellent. He said the coffee was excellent, I am a tea drinker and the tea was Lipton so it was fine. Hot and plentiful. The service was outstanding. We had a wonderful waitress who explained we could save money by ordering the egg and potato special rather than ordering everything à la cart as I had done. Love the server is trying to save you a couple dollars! Bonus, the special included, coffee, and tea in the price! I definitely recommend this place. If you're looking for a delicious homestyle breakfast while you're visiting Niagara Falls. We will be back, that's for sure. read more

A quaint hometown breakfast spot. Large and diverse menu, with signature dishes and classics. Our service was good, and we enjoyed the HUGE mimosas. They are bottomless for only $10, and one may think they'll have several, but these are nearly the size of your head and any past two and you'll have sucked down a swimming pool of liquid. This place has always put out an amazing breakfast at a very fair price. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I had the weekday special funfetti waffle. It was even especially decorated for Memorial Day with red,white and blue sprinkles. The true stand out here are the deep fried home fries. They are always cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. If your in the area I would 100% percent recommend this place for breakfast! Wow, this place is a lot bigger on the inside than how it looks on the outside. Lots of tables inside. The server was friendly and immediately took our drink order. The coffee isn't cheap, but they bring you your cup with a big coffee thermos for you to refill as needed. The coffee stayed very hot in the thermos during our whole stay. A good amount of options are on the menu, and we went with toast, eggs, and bacon. We had to wait about 20 minutes for our order. Though, the amount of bacon was surprising, the whole plate was hot and delicious. You pay your check at the front counter, and they accept credit cards. Free WiFi too. read more

With the COVID regulations, they are following rules and everything is very clean! The food was great as usual. I need to go there for lunch too and get those fried pickle Spears Staff is always very friendly I have never had any issues here! Well, I would comment on my food, but I never received any! Why? Sat at the counter and was asked if I wanted a drink. Got my OJ and looked at the menu. Put the menu down and waited, and waited. No stars is what I am giving. I am very disappointed about the lack of service my wife and I did not receive today. Went into moms on 2-28-2023 with the intention of having breakfast and purchasing a few other items. We were seated with coffee and that was the only time we ever saw our waitress. Customers were in after us and being served and waited on. We waited for 45 mins and still no one came to our table... We paid the coffee and left. Never have I been so disappointed with the lack of service from receiving from moms. We also will never be going back to this restaurant. Wide variety of breakfast and lunch. All the old stand bys! Eggs, toast and bacon or sausage with toast or pancakes, delicious and fairly priced. Pleasant waitresses with plenty of seating. Quite busy at prime times for breakfast and lunch till 3pm but easy in and out later in am before lunch starts or after it ends. Soups are so good I often have a cup with breakfast! A different 1 or 2 each day. Tasty but not that salty old broth some people think is soup. This is fresh, tasty broth with fresh vegetables made each day. They also sometimes have tomato, beef, vegetable, chicken noodle etc etc. only open till 3 pm - too bad. Very clean with some old Niagara historical decor - pictures from the past. Let's keep it short and sweet. The food was uh ok? However the prices were reasonably priced. Here's a quick note. They make you add on for "hash browns" with your meals. They say 5 dollars for an omelette and 1.50 for a half pound of soggy hash browns. They give you two options deep fried or grilled. I had grilled and the potatoes are very very thinly sliced and soggy. You without question get what you pay for. I don't think I'd come back for breakfast but I'd be up for trying lunch or dinner.
