I went on a long bike ride and this was a great spot to have a coffee stop. There is a very nice outside terrace with plenty of tables. I had their cold brew and it was excellent. They also have muffins, cookies and wraps, but I didn't try them. It's on the main street of Lewiston, the traffic is kinda busy, but it's still a great place to have a coffee and a bite. read more

The kitchen isn't always open since they've been short on staff, but I'm glad it was the other week so I could get the falafel wrap. It's so good and not very expensive. I always order ahead to see if they're doing food and so it doesn't take too long when I'm stopping during my lunch break. Would recommend the wrap! The staff treated us like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers--despite being well-dressed and spending a considerable amount of money during our visit. Their demeanor was uninviting at best, downright snobbish at worst. Over the past couple of years I've learned these shops not only add value and a sense of community, but they also serve up great cups of coffee. Orange Cat Coffee draws you in from the moment you park on the street. The corner shop has ample outdoor seating and their logo is plastered all over. Not in a cluttered sort of way. They don't sell cortados. I ended up ordering a cappuccino but received something closer to a latte, However, their choice of coffee bean smelled delicious and created a delectable tasting espresso drink. read more

I've been wanting to try this coffee place for a long time. I stopped here yesterday after being at The Silo to get some coffee for the long drive home. I ordered a Patty Paws. It was okay. I had a HUGE snickerdoodle cookie which was fantastic!!! My boyfriend had an iced coffee which he enjoyed. The inside was very rustic and cute. Both female employees inside were super nice, especially when I mentioned that it was my first time there. I took a punch card and had the girl punch it with my order. We enjoyed our drinks outside. When I'm up north again, I'll definitely return to this cool spot. read more

Didn't have the best service here. I asked the barista a question about something on their menu and she had no idea what I was talking about. I then ordered a flavored coffee and it just tasted super artificial and had none of the flavor notes it was supposed to. When my husband ordered his coffee they asked about leaving room for cream and he said no but as we walked away saw that his coffee was only like 3/4 full and ended up having a lot of coffee grounds in it. It was a pretty disappointing experience. read more

We absolutely love this coffee shop. We were originally lured in by the name a few years ago and we make sure to stop in when we are in Lewiston, which isn't often enough. This past week we made a point to head to Lewiston just to have coffee there as there is still indoor dining. We love being able to enjoy a good book with a good cup of coffee and Orange Cat is a very enjoyable place to do so. I tried the daily special which was a vanilla bourbon caramel latte. Reminded me slightly of an eggnog latte but in a good way as I don't care for eggnog lattes and this was tasty. My husband went with his trusted cappuccino which was also quite good. I ended up purchasing coffee beans to bring home as well, they are also available ground if you would like. Both the peppermint and the toasted marshmallow are to delicious and I'll definitely need to be going back more often just to get coffee for home. I came here with my family on February 7, 2025 at 1:50pm - blonde girl took my order. Match up her shift to the time. She was so rude and disrespectful to my family. My mom asked her "what is in the {seasonal drink} latte?" And the girl responded "it's a latte with those flavors" Just blatantly rude. My mom is 70 by the way, so how are you going to be mean to her when she's just asking what flavors are in the drink. She didn't have her glasses on and you could have just told her the flavors, instead she had to get smart with her. I was going to order, but after the attitude I received, I decided against it. My wife ordered an iced blended red velvet latte and the girl threw ice in it. When I asked if it could be blended, she said no, it's just served over ice; it tasted off, just like a normal coffee. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My Chihuahua greatly disapproves of this place as well. My dog is a trained service dog and goes everywhere, and she's obviously pocket sized. It's one of the best coffee shops in WNY! I always make a stop at Orange Cat when I'm in the area. There are seats both inside and outside and parking available on the street in front and on the side street next to the shop. Great location with many other privately owned shops all around for a quick stop or a stroll down the main street to shop or people watch or both. They offer many specialty coffees with special flavors of the day for regular and decaf and all sorts or specialty hot and cold coffee drinks. I've always experienced fast, friendly service, fair prices, and great tasting coffee every time. They have a few desserts such as candy bars, pastries, and cookies. I don't have very much to write about this location, as I've only been there once and the stay wasn't long. Bottom line: cute/quaint little coffee shop in Lewiston. Everyone raves about it. So I went in with a group of the cadets after we finished a detail at the local church. Product was good. Price was good. Speed of order to hand was lightning fast. And the staff was hella friendly. Add the fact that I don't have a single complaint about the place to the facts that it was standing room only in here, and I'd say this is a business worth hitting up, especially if you're a coffee kinda person. read more

Wonderful coffee shop in a beautiful 1800s historic building! The smell when you walk in just makes your mouth water. I had an iced vanilla latte, it was so good, perfectly sweet with a nice coffee flavor. My partner got a hot chai and it was one of the best chais either of us have ever had. He gets a chai at any coffee shop we go to. It was wonderfully spiced and the perfect drink! The total for two medium drinks was under $9. I am used to paying $12+ for two medium so the prices were great! read more

The almond was best, very tasty.....just the right amount of sweetness, perfect texture. The house blend coffee at $2 for a large is a great deal and has a bright flavor. The atmosphere inside is homey and cozy. The aroma's wonderful. The employees are friendly, helpful and quick to serve. I've been going to this place for over a decade. I try to stop if I'm in the Lewiston area. It's a great place to meet up with friends and get a cup of joe. I got a peppermint mocha which was tasty. Their cookies are fantastic!!! The last time I went I got the snickerdoodle which is amazing and they're huge. The staff are always friendly. They also have really great food if you get there when they have it. They have soups and salads. The artichoke salad is amazing. There are two sitting areas in the coffee shop, one of the right of the coffee bar and if you walk back there's a couch and high top tables and the bathroom. I believe it's an 1800's building. This is the perfect coffee shop. Beautiful building with lots of seating, countless coffee and latte flavors, great pricing, and an affordable shop all wrapped up in the heart of Lewiston. After moving away from Western NY, my heart aches for this little cafe. It has the best chai I have ever had in my entire life, I brought my father-in-law (who has been to countless countries all over the world) and he agreed that it was the best he has ever had too.
