The service and even other patrons are extremely friendly. Our server explained menu options clearly and with passion that made us interested in all their choices. We were in Wilson and looking for a place to have breakfast on a Sunday morning around 9 am. The place was about half full. The ambiance is comfortable and the service was very professional. I enjoy Eggs Benedict and order it when I have breakfast out. To me the hollandaise sauce determines how good is the Eggs Benedict dish. This sauce tasted home made with a nice taste of lemon. My girlfriend and I came to Niagara Falls for a one week vacation away from South Jersey. Since the first day of coming to Knead the Dough, we've made it a point to do so everyday for the rest of our trip. To start, the service is amazing. Every person on the waiting staff was incredibly kind and treated us like family. The food was absolutely fantastic. Hands down the best pancakes we have ever had. I find it to be very unfortunate that I have to update my review of Knead the Dough in such a manner. Up until this last Thursday, my husband and his family (family comes from out of town) have really enjoyed dinning here. The LA Cinnamon Toast is amazing!! The prices, you can't beat. Plus, it's locally owned! The reason for my update and big drop in stars is because the owner, or whom I suspect to be the owner, is extremely abrasive with her employees and in front of customers! The last 3 times we went she has reprimanded her employees loudly either in the kitchen (It's open and you can see everything. You can also hear everything if you're in the first half of the restaurant) or in the dinning area. Like I said already, she is abrasive with them, makes her scolding known and it has disturbed my dinning experience! This last time was the worst! Three times in less than one hour, she reprimanded/corrected them in a demeaning manner. There is a time, place and tactful way to correct someone. Not in front of your customers while they're trying to enjoy brunch! This last time stressed me out and I couldn't wait to leave! There are other affordable, yummy local restaurants to spend your money at. Very unfortunate. I feel bad for the employees! read more

Always a good meal. Amazing prices me and my husband ordered more food then we could ever eat and only came to $20.00, so you can't beat that. The pancakes are so good, and the specials are really good. Very spacious for COVID so no need to worry about that. Absolutely outstanding service and experience. We stopped here for the first time to enjoy a nice lunch. It was my little guy and my lovely lady and myself. It was a tad bit busy, but nothing like some of the weekends where there were no parking spots available upon driving by. Our waitress was super sweet and kind, and very nice. She welcomed us and was honestly a fun waitress to have. (I would mention her by name, but I honestly forgot ) The restaurant itself is quaint and homely with all kinds of decorations and signs on the wall. There's also some handmade crafts you can browse. For the food, I ordered a ham and cheese omelette, my lady ordered a turkey/apple sandwich that was on special, and my little guy wanted pancakes. The omelette was delicious, the turkey/apple sandwich was very unique but good (she let me try a bite) nonetheless, and the pancakes came out shaped like a pig, nose and all! Coming from Buffalo the ride to Ransomville was peaceful and relaxing with rolling estates, the river and blue skies all around. The restaurant is adorable and the staff thoroughly engaged and ready to serve. It was moms birthday and she and dad ordered the special - peach pancakes, I ordered the French toast and my sister the famous $2 cinnamon roll and sausage and eggs. Kim our server was a delight - even bringing a singing staff and lit candle for moms birthday. Went during lunch crowd the parking lot was so full we parked across the street. I got the City Farmers Breakfast with home fries/potatoes added on. The egg was cooked perfectly, bacon just right and my husband ate the sausage from mine and said it was great! The pancake was fluffy and taste good. I didn't care for the potatoes they were a tad under cooked for my taste. Husband had grilled roast beef with cheese, onions & peppers. He asked for wheat instead of the hard roll it wasn't a problem. He gave it 4 stars an didn't leave any behind. We all so bought an order of raisin bread for home. What happened to this place?! We used to go often for breakfast and enjoy. We moved to Arizona 3 years ago. Came home to visit and couldn't wait to have breakfast at Knead the Dough like old times. My daughter and I talked about having LA cinnamon toast and corned beef hash. I can't comment on the food because we never made it in the door. There were about 7 people standing and waiting out in the warm vestibule. They had already checked in so I opened the door and entered the restaurant. I stood at the counter waiting to be greeted but other than an employee walking past and looking at me, I was never approached. After standing there for an uncomfortable amount of time, my husband came and got me, telling me that we were to sign in on a sheet out in the vestibule. I hadn't seen the sign informing this because the other customers were standing in front of it as I walked in. So w0e signed the sheet and waited. And waited. And waited like unwanted and unwelcomed guests. No seating provided and no one to even peek their heads out the door to acknowledge our presence. Our patronage was obviously not important to them so we went to the Youngstown Diner where we were welcomed in and ate a wonderful breakfast. read more

My husband has been wanting to take me here, and we finally stopped in for lunch with my mother in law yesterday. The restaurant is small and homey with carpet and mismatched table cloths, but really nice art and photos on the walls. They have a children's menu but no coloring books, so come prepared. Breakfast is served all day, but I had lunch.I feel remiss I didn't have my deli sliced turkey sandwich on their fresh baked white bread but on Italian bread from DiCamillo instead. My husband had their white bread for his French toast, and the slices are so thick and fluffy. I also feel remiss I didn't have one of their big cinnamon rolls (only $2.) Went this past weekend. I ordered the parkerhouse (egg sandwich) which was $4.00. It was very good, with a fabulous roll. My husband liked the vegetable omelet, which came with homefries and what looked like homemade toast. I wanted to try the taco soup, so I ordered a bowl of it. They have the staples you would expect, like pancakes, waffles, etc, but done in creative ways. The stuffed French toast is unique and excellent. Two slices of French toast, and pressed like waffles raspberry and cheese stuffed. My companions had it, and enjoyed it very much. And they are experienced bakers Grilled Cinnamon toast with cinnamon sauce was excellent. They also have omelets, etc. For a Tuesday morning there was a decent crowd. That in itself is a testament to the quality. This spot is worth going out of your way for. It's not exotic, but it is unique and everything we had was done well, and also presented well. A nice friendly spot in the morning, is always great. Modest pricing adds to the charm. I have been here before, and liked it then as well. I will return next time we are in the area. We travel out from Grand Island, so a bit out of the way for us, but worth the effort. The stuffed French toast is quite unique and excellent. There are other unique items on their menu as well. They serve lunch, but I have not personally tried it. If it's as good as breakfast, I would expect similar quality at lunch as well. The menu is diverse, something for every taste and appetite. We arrived with a party of 3. As you scan the room, you'll see four rooms. When we arrived, one to the right wasn't being used. The parking lot (very small) was full so a wait was expected. Fine to wait, it's just there is not really room for waiting as four more parties followed us thru the door (as we left, there were about 20 people in the outdoor porch-esque area). This part of the experience was quite odd. You go add your name to the list with the hostess but I'm not sure they go out looking for you. Apart from this, the experience is INCREDIBLE! The interior is clean and put together quite nicely. The homey decor makes you feel like grandmas in the kitchen and you're the special guest! The paint choices were very nice and the wainscoting gave it elegance. Your can of the room shows the mish mash of tables set up with different sizes obviously, some being classic diner tables and some are literal dining tables. Quite lovely. My party ordered eggs, sweet potato pancakes (not the special), stuffed French toast (special) and 2 omelets. The omelets were solid. The meat was generously provided within both! Not overwhelmingly cheesy, and the veggies were good. The side of wheat toast was homemade! Thick sliced and light butter. The rye toast was fresh and seemed extra tasty but maybe this was due to my positive impressions already. The sweet potato pancakes were tasty, fluffy, perfect! But considering the amazing comments so far... JUST WAIT! The last plate was the stuffed French toast. The raspberry compote delectable but the sweet whipped cream cheese was to DIE FORRRRR! This was a place already highly recommended but I would definitely shout from the rooftops about. I can't say enough. Oh, don't let me forget the coffee- McCullough Coffee Roasters. We knew we had to try this place after hearing some rave reviews from our friends. Really a nice relaxing drive out to this area and the parking was spacious. Really friendly staff and the place is really clean, bright and spacious. Our server was really pleasant and knowledgeable. She recommended the Ransomville Scramble with homemade bread which may be the best breakfast I ever had. That and the BIG cup of coffee was more than I could handle but really enjoyed it. A 'must-go' experience! My husband and I sat at the counter today for our first experience at this restaurant. The food was superb! I had breakfast, he had lunch, and we couldn't be more pleased with the quality and freshness of our meals. The staff was wonderful, we had a few good laughs and conversations with them, which we love. The restaurant is super clean and fun, the signs around the restaurant are were great. Showed up Sunday near peak time. A few holes to park in the parking lot. Short wait at the door for the hosts to notice that we weren't in line to pay. Breads and pastry in a glass show case. A re-purposed home, so the rooms weren't too large and it kept the noise down. We were told that we could get half-portions to try out the menu if we so cared. I did not notice to morning special posted anywhere, so I went with an omelet that was good but pedestrian.
