The (very) last time I was there, I went and my manicurist told me that the cooler was moved to the back as it was being cleaned, but I can go there. I asked, 'I can go in the back?' She affirmed yes. So I did. I went there where they have the washer/dryer, microwave - the little break room it appeared, and filled my bottle as I have been doing for over a year, since they were out of cups once. Well these 2 b!tches began louding exclaiming and carrying on in a language I don't understand. Yes b!tches - 1 is Nancy who I had the misfortune to do my nails once. She hurt me by cutting into my finger and when I pulled back and winced she actually rolled her eyes at me and sighed. So yes B!TCH. The other one is her sister. Runs in the family. I paid no mind and go back and sit with Ling, who I adore and everything is as usual. She files and wraps. I call Sue the manager to schedule my next. We do so. Then she gives me this admonition in a scolding tone, '- we don't allow customers to fill a water bottle and we don't allow customers to go in the kitchen'. I was confused and taken aback. I said this is nothing new, I always fill my bottle. And as far as the kitchen - I didn't go there myself, Ling invited me to go there. I was not combative. I was confused. She on the other hand - the tone, the overall demeanor I felt was so uncalled for and RUDE. I was not a new customer. I'm coming there for years, having brought them customers. So I called her back. I gave her a chance. I told her that I was unhappy bc it's like she is making it like I'm trespassing. I said I do not think this is my house. I don't just walk all over. I didn't even ask to go there. She offered me to go there. Sue sourly says, 'I'm just telling you'. Impossible for me to depict the tone and delivery, but it was rude and unnecessary. She could have simply and politely asked me how I came to be in that room, or said nicely that I could not in the future. Rather than acting like I went into the register. POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS!! So even though I love Ling and Gloria is nice too, I will not be back. Really such a pitiful way to react over a longtime customer and some water. I guess they have too many timely, regular clients who tip. P.s. I have brought them clientele who are now planning to support me and come to my new place : )

Staff are very friendly and they do whatever they can to make sure you have a relaxing enjoyable experience. 1) They take their time and make sure they give you the best pedicure. 2) They give you a four minute massage on your legs and feet with no additional cost. 3) While your feet are drying, they give you a lovely ten minute back and neck massage. 4) They don't rush you to pay and or to tip. They let you finish drying. 5) When you're finished they wrap plastic wrap on your nails so it stays awesome and they help you put on your socks and shoes. I've outgrown the fancy designs, shells, crystals, gold foil, etc, and come to realize the ability to shape the nails perfectly goes such a long way. While Vicky is capable of creating the designs I coveted in the past, she is truly a master of her craft when it comes to shaping and UV gel technique. I kid you not, when covid-19 shut the city down, the UV gel on my nails would not budge for the next two months. I basically had to cut them off to remove them. I've followed her ever since she was at Glorious nails' old location to their new location and now her own establishment. To be honest, I've cheated on her a couple times because I don't live in the immediate area, but I always find myself coming back to her. Frankly, no one does it like Vicky does.

I wasn't satisfied with my previous nail salon so I came across Nails on U. I got a UV gel refill with a micro french tip design and it was 35$+ tip. Van did my nails and I have no complaints. The shape is not thick and the edges are really clean. I finally found my nail place. Will be going to them from now on.

The guy who does my nails does an amaaaazing job & I refuse to go anywhere else. The massages for the manicure/pedicure are not great though LOL. It's like 2 squeezes and that's it but I'm not here for a massage so I'm not mad!! I usually get regular polish and it lasts a decent amount of time ~1 week until it starts chipping but that's definitely my fault because I'm RECKLESS.
