Nail salon is very clean and well kept. They sanitize every work station in between clients, so they're following all covid- safety protocols. All employees wear masks and they enforce mask-wearing of clients too. It feels cleans and safe. I've been here three times now and I'm always happy with the results. I've seen different people everytime I'm here, so all the nail technicians seem to be pretty good and I don't have a favorite so far. They have a good selection of colors and nail polish brands. They're pedicure stations are large and the chairs are very comfy. There's space for your cell phone, pocket book, a drink and small items you might be carrying (keys, purse, etc.) It's a quiet atmosphere (no loud music or TV playing) which is extra relaxing when getting a Mani - Pedi. Bay Ridge, especially in my vicinity, has many nail shops; however, the last place I was going to, I wasn't a fan of. I was on a search for a new place not too far away, but that wasn't overly expensive. This was the fourth place I called, and it was cheaper than the previous two, so I decided to to come here. Was immediately greeted and told I could sit on the bench, shortly thereafter I was told I could have a seat. I was under the belief I was next, but then a lady got in the seat next to me and she was taken care of. I was upset about this because seemingly I was there first. Finally after about ten minutes a new lady comes over. The lady was excellent, she actually took her time (unlike Tulip on 72nd, where I had gone previously). I was charged $30 bucks and was very pleased with the service here. This place is nasty as hell. I paid over $140. i gave this lady a $15 tip. She was talking abpit me the whole time she was shoving myhand for no reason. I went in for a fillin and she did everything but fill inmy nails so it still looks like i have to get them done. They chipped the sameday. I went back two days later for them to fx it. I walked in, they started giggling. They started talking about me in Spanish, and I was just standing there, not planning on going anywhere because of the amount of money that I had paid on top of the way she treated me initially. I went to this place also in October right after my surgery and I was on the phone with my friend discussing my head surgery and the nail tech saw a vape in my hand and said "yeah that's probably why you had to get the surgery on your head" I felt extremely embarrassed and very uncomfortable. When they fixed my nail today, they used gel polish to fix it, even though I paid extra for chrome I have nothing good to say about these people or their salon or their decorum because they don't have any. read more

Stumbled to this newly opened salon. Lina was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and took her time to design my nails. I was very impressed by the customer service. They were tentative and routinely checked in to make sure I was comfortable, asking if I wanted tea, heat, etc. They even had gloves to cover the back of the hand to protect against the UV light. They were also very professional. All the equipment was sterilized and packaged to give you that sense of comfort for those that are a germaphobe like I am. I always do ombré, which are simple yet require more time and attention. With their grand opening special, soaking off and an ombré manicure came out to only $28. I've been here twice, and won't be returning. The first time I did a regular pedicure and gel mani. The place is very cute, clean. Contact tracing for COVID and temp check which I liked for safety. My gel ended up being very thin (you could see through it in the light). My nails cracked and broke within a week, which usually doesn't happen. I went back and thought I would give SNS a try instead and I really regret it. My nails are extremely thick, uneven, and lumpy. The color is also uneven with lines in the powder because she kept losing control of the electric file. My manicure also took almost 2 hours because the woman doing my nails added the cuticle oil too soon after adding the top coat, so we had to do the filing and top coat all over again. I felt really awkward making a fuss so I still paid FULL PRICE even after the owner Lina had to come over and finish fixing my nails. I really wish I had said something because now I'm stuck with these very thick and blocky nails for a while, but that's on me. I also didn't want to spend another hour or two in there. read more

This used to be my go to spot for the past 2 or so years but the service has gone downhill. I came in and was asked what service I wanted I said "I'd like an acrylic set and a pedicure". They said they can do it and I chose my color for my pedicure. As I'm getting my pedicure done, I'm asked again what I'd like to get done so I repeat myself. After the pedicure is done, I'm sitting to soak off my old set. I'm sitting there for almost 30 minutes waiting, so I politely asked when someone would start on my nails. I then get an attitude and I'm told that they don't do acrylic sets (remember how I confirmed twice and they said they did) and that because I'm a longtime customer I should know that. I told the worker that they should have told me that from the start so I could have gone to a salon that would have done my hands and feet. I paid for my pedicure and soakoff and tipped the workers. Then I walked down the street to another salon that does acrylic sets. So instead of getting both services done at the same salon, I ended up having to wait at another salon to get a service that they said they can do. There are nail salons with better service in the neighborhood. Please spend your hard-earned money elsewhere. read more

Decided to try this newly opened salon after having some neglectful experiences at other salons in the neighborhood. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Came at around 1pm on a Friday and as soon as I walked in, two employees made themselves available to help me. They sat me down immediately to start my pedicure and brought the gel nail colors to me. I have eczema on my hands and always feel a little self conscious, the technician noticed it but didn't make me feel uncomfortable, and instead conversed with me how her roommate also has it and the things she uses to treat it. I wanted to like this place; however after my experience, I don't recommend this location to Black people! I wasn't given the same customer service as the white patrons. I had an appointment and waited patiently outside since there were patrons already inside and we need to maintain social distancing during the pandemic. No one acknowledged me until I asked the male worker who was cleaning outside, if I could go inside. The workers had the audacity to laugh and speak in Spanish about me because I was in extra layer of protection due to the virus.
