Mary, the hygienist in New London clearly doesn't like kids. she's been nasty to my son with special needs every time he's been there! The front office isn't much better. We got a bill for 7k$ to fix his fillings. I asked if we could do a payment plan. "Absolutely not they said!" I said "if i can't Pay up front, what do I do to take care of my son", who is in pain mind you. They said "arrange payment and come back then". All they care about is money, not kids! If you have a child with special needs, stay away from this place!

I suspect this nonsensical letter was intended to disinvite us from the rescheduled appointment, though I hadn't realized that yet when I called them to complain about the tone of this correspondence. I left an (admittedly) angry message to try to clarify the intended message behind the last sentence. After additional reflection I called back and left another message to say we are just going to find another provider. My son was referred to you because of behavioral issues he demonstrated at his last dentist appointment where he was combative and they couldn't get him even into the exam area. I called y'all to ask before his first appointment to see if you had some kind of plan for him - nope. I asked if y'all had any other unique practices for special needs kids - nope. "We deal with them all the time." Oh, great. I'm glad you "deal" with them. Rather than waste everyone's time with a massive meltdown that would have caused EVERYONE stress (including the "many children waiting to be seen") - we rescheduled and arranged for the behavioral therapist to come along with us. Fast forward to the day of the second appointment - My husband and the behaviorist spent *forever* trying to get our son to the appointment, lots of blood/sweat/tears and just as he was about to admit defeat and call you - the practice called him. The appointment was rescheduled again. Does the tone of this letter match those events, to you? They haven't even experienced my son's challenges... because try as we might we can't get him in the car after the episode at his last dentist....and you're *already* this rude and discompassionate...? Forget it. I guess their "specialized" pediatric practice does not include special needs families. I wish we were never referred to this place!

She has daily pain in 1 side where she had a cap placed on a baby molar and her new dentist (whom we did switch to after hearing other horror stories from concerned parents) found multiple issues with that cap which may result in her losing the tooth after all the work that was done. Our older child has never had any dental concerns, but yet this child, who we treated no differently all of a sudden has a mouth full of decayed teeth? I wish I questioned it and didn't just listen to the recommendations of someone I thought I should be able to trust. We are not Medicaid patients, we are private pay/private insurance patients who paid a large sum of money out of pocket hoping to do the right thing for our child. I was not allowed in the procedure room, which I accepted as with any procedure (surgery, etc.) but my daughter can still recount the way she was treated... She is terrified of being "held down and hurt" by the dentist. I used to think it was just that it was an unfamiliar experience for her and therefore scary but after all the horror stories I've heard... I am horrified and saddened to think what she went through. Please do not bring your child here.... I only hope to prevent other children from going through what she went through.

The situation was then handled by placing a silver cap , which left the tooth looking much worse. Wonderful experience at Raynor Dental We recently had a…read moregreat experience at Raynor dental after my wife wound up needing an emergency extraction. Over the weekend and into early this week a tooth she was having trouble with became very painful. Our current dentist, could not do anything until mid December. I researched emergency dental care and found Raynor. Patty answered the phone and was so pleasant and helpful. Patty conferred with one of the dentists, Dr. Leora Hilbert, and they were able to get my wife in later that day. Amazing! We arrived in early afternoon and met Jill who kept me informed of what was happening while my wife went with one of the hygienists to prepare for the extraction. While not pleasant, the extraction went well and my wife was thrilled with Dr. Leora and her wonderful personality & easy going nature as well as the hygienists. All in all we are very impressed with Raynor so much so we are moving both our dental care to Raynor. Our thanks to everyone at Raynor who played a part in getting my wife's issue resolved so quickly and in such a friendly and compassionate manner!

They go through a step-by-step process, picking out a toy, picking out toothpaste, flouride..etc. etc. They give the kids to wear to block out the bright light while they are having their teeth cleaned. Each time it gets abit more involved, but my little man loves having his teeth cleaned, Dr. Donley and her staff are AWESOME! If there is ever a problem (and we have already had one), she is available 24/7 for consult. It's bright, it;s clean.. I think it's slightly expensive, but that's medical care for you, time to consider insurance I guess! We have referred 2 friends to Dr. Donley, and they all love her too. She is the best around, so glad we found her!

We were caught off guard, as traumatic, and were given a hasty explanation when it occurred. The follow-up communication was poor and at times argumentative. We switched providers for all our children after this experience and are still dealing with the aftermath. This was not the first negative experience with this practice. We should have switched earlier. Dr Morgan also told us on two occasions "that this has never happened in my career". Read the reviews here on google and on Yelp, and you will see a clear pattern of behavior. We rarely give reviews or complain, but we felt compelled after our experience.
