She decorated for us, ran our rehearsal (even though it wasn't held at Poplar Hall), and handled cleanup so that at the end of the night all we had to do was load our boxes and head out. She even referred to me as "Mrs." all night long and again on our final invoice--such a small detail, but one that meant so much. Poplar Hall is breathtaking, and Nikki is truly a gem. My favorite dishes are 1) papaya salad (the dirty heavy crab paste version), 2) the catfish curry, and 3) the egg rolls. All of her food is fantastic. Her papaya is to die for. Seriously. It's sweet, sour, salty, and crunchy. I'm an avid papaya salad eater and Zer's is top notch. I have even sipped on the leftover liquid once all the papaya is eaten because it is that good! The catfish curry is the perfect blend of sweet and savory. I especially enjoy the fresh pineapple slices that she adds to that dish. The egg rolls are filled with a good proportion of meat and veggies. I don't like egg rolls with barely any filling in them. They're also very crispy. I highly recommend this place for catering.
