I wouldn't waste my time with this place at all
    Nazy J.

Called this gymnastics place to ask about what programs they offer my 2.5 year old daughter he told me there is one class at 11 Monday for 2-5 year olds and I should stop by and check it out. I said great is there anything I need to do before coming in ? He asked me to go on their website and sign a waiver for them being in the gym so I said no problem. I called back and asked if I need to do anything else after signing up to their website and signing waiver he said no just bring grip socks . Ok no problem. It was the only class they offered during the day so we switched all of our schedule around to be available and We drove 30 mins to this class. I was 10 mins early so I go in to see if there are paper work or I have to pay for class before or anything I need to do to not waste the teachers time and the lady at front just said didn't anyone tell you not to walk in earlier than 5 mins before ? I was a bit taken back but I apologized and said no but I was wondering if I needed to sign anything else since I'm here for my toddler to try out a class ? She said we don't even have you in the system come back in 5 mins and drop off your kid by the door because parents can't come in. I said excuse me but I was not told that this is a drop off class my child is 2.5 and I don't even know anything about the class who it's with or how it is I don't feel comfortable just dropping off my child without knowing anything and she said well this is how it is. She said if you want to do the workouts with your toddler sign up for a parent and me classes at other gyms, and I said no that is not what I was interested in but you have no option to watch your kids from the distance or even outside and I don't even know who the teacher is or how the class is since this is our tryout so I do not feel comfortable leaving my 2 year old in strangers hands and have her have a negative feeling and separation anxiety as well towards gymnastics in general and I apologized and said I don't feel comfortable doing that. I was so frustrated and it would have been lovely to be told that earlier on in advance. I checked with a few other moms and some other gymnastics places and they said that is unheard of for parents not to have an option to be there for the first tryout class and after to observe from the distance at the very least . The place looked pretty dark, old and outdated as well and the front entrance and rugs looked pretty dirty anyways . I guess it was a blessing to not go in but no way would I ever leave my toddler somewhere like that

My daughters and son started gymnastics classes in 2003 at Monarchs. Now, it's time for our families next generation to take gymnastics classes. My granddaughter and I look forward to every Tuesday seeing Coach Connie in the Parent/Tot class. It's fun for us all. My granddaughter loves doing things her mommy did when she was younger. In the first class, my daughter did a cartwheel as my granddaughter watched, she copied doing a forward roll all by herself. Quality coaching, Connie is amazing and caring to all the children in her class Whether it's the gymnastics, parkour, camps, or open gym Monarchs is our first choice. I

From the traditions of not running down hills (only up), not picking up sticks, and their ability to engage every kid they know what makes for a great environment within which to have fun- for every kid. And we have two very different kids- but both enjoy the fun and thoughtfully designed daily programs with some action/adventure and some quieter activities interspersed. Both our artsy 11 year old (who especially loves the songs and theatre and arts) and our sporty 9 year old (who loves especially loves handball and field and animals) have an amazing time - and both love pool and gaga. There's plenty of fun all day long with also interspersed signature programs each week like a hike to the lemonade tower, Olympics and Great Sleepouts under the stars (my kids love the food of that believe it or not!). The bus experience is a whole important part of the fun with songs and spirit and joy, and a "ready rabbit" competition that everyone loves to win- plus it's good for us parents to know the kids get out of the city into nature with professional drivers and enthusiastic staff members. The days start at morning mountain (with fun riddles for groups to solve and overviews of the day) and end everyday on friendship hill (celebrating milestones and birthdays) and both are always times of singing and forming those incredible foundational memories. And did I mention that the lunches are refrigerated during the day with frequent water breaks and cooling stations. This camp is great for young kids to get to feel comfortable going to camp and older kids who love developing their own leadership alike. As an educator of children for decades I appreciate this camp from a professional perspective and as a parent- my kids come over excitedly telling me all out all the fun they have had. 100000/10

I worked for years in the automotive field and have suffered with chronic back pain for much of my adult life. It was not uncommon for me to experience a flare-up that would be so painful that it would knock me out of commission for several days. A few years ago my wife encouraged me to try Pilates in an effort to get some relief and I was referred to Kathy. I had always worked to stay fit lifting weights, stretching, etc. but I had never tried anything like Pilates before. To say I was skeptical was an understatement, but I decided to give it a try. I believe Pilates has a reputation for being exercise geared only to women. This couldn't be further from the truth. It is an all body workout and it is for anybody regardless of your gender, your age or level of fitness. I found Kathy to be incredibly knowledgeable (she is a Pilates Master Instructor) and she is encouraging and fun. She pushed me to make sure I was getting the full benefit of the class, but she never had me do anything that caused me back discomfort. After a few months working with Kathy it dawned on me that I hadn't had any major flare-ups with my back. About a year ago I experienced a medical scare with a rare condition called Transverse Myelitis. It is an autoimmune disorder that caused me to lose the ability to move the left side of my body. When I was discharged from the hospital I was beginning to regain a very small amount of movement, but my left leg dragged and I couldn't hold anything in my left hand. The doctor told me my condition wouldn't get worse, but there was a very strong likelihood that it wouldn't ever get any better either. I was able to walk, but only if using a walker. I was a month away from retiring and needless to say, that was not how I had envisioned my retirement. About a month or so later I decided to try and get on my reformer. After just a few minutes I knew that Pilates was what was going to get me better. I contacted Kathy and she started working with me again. It has now been 17 months since I was hospitalized and I have regained all movement and strength. My neurologist was amazed at my recovery and I owe so much of that to Kathy. She is the kind of person that helps to heal both your mind and your body. She is nurturing and she really knows what she is doing. There just aren't enough words to express my gratitude and to describe what an amazing person Kathy is.
