dr knight and staff made a specialist dental visit nobody looks forward to as best as it can get…read more friendly staff, easy to book with and is awesome at scheduling and communication. i went in for a routine crown lengthening procedure. dr knight prior to the procedure explained in detail what the procedure entailed and settled any worries i had prior to the visit. the guy has a thing with explaining things in a calm manner and communicates very clear throughout the prodecure. i sat in the chair with complete trust to the point that i couldve fallen asleep during the 45min procedure. left a happy camper and everything went as planned.

I could write a book about my wife having pain that was thought to be coming from a tooth that had an old crown and root canal. Dr. Tom was not sure about that. (he could have pullled the cap on the root canal, and charged for it, but he said he didnt feel right because he didnt see anything wrong on xray.) As it turns out, my wife had pain from a problem with a clogged Eustachian tube, and the pain was conducted from nerves in the same area. I've had a lot of bad dentist experiences in the past so I was glad when I found a place that was actually nice and caring about every single one of their patients. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. The dental hygienists are also super attentive and she gave thorough explanations on how to care for my teeth. Dr. Tom is also very detailed and you can tell he truly cares for all his patients from interacting with him. I had previous dentists who just take their tools and go at your teeth without caring about your pain and comfort but that is not the case with Dr. Tom and the staff. I finally decided to do it with Doctor Weng and I was pretty nervous about it. And everything turned out to be amazingly comfortable! Before the surgery, Doctor Weng had a review session with me and assured me that this will be an easy procedure and answered all of my questions. On the surgery day, I received some numbing rubs first from a very nice nurse so that when Doctor Weng gave me the local anesthesia shots, I almost felt nothing! After that, Doctor Weng pulled out the teeth on the top in a flash (maybe 1 sec only). Then he started to work on the lower one, which is more tricky as it is a bit tilted. I could feel pressure but it was not that uncomfortable. I can feel Doctor Weng was very skilled at this process and was doing everything very professionally and precisely. My jaw felt tired after a while and the nice nurse gave me a lot massage (no extra charge!). After 20-30 mins, that teeth was out too! Doctor Weng quickly stitched up and I was ready to leave! When I met my husband at the parking lot, he was surprised how fast it was. After the surgery, it was not that panful at all. I took maybe 2 pain killer on the first day and the second day, I did not need to take that any more. Doctor Weng also texted me to make sure if everything is okay. It was so minimally uncomfortable that I could just work the second day. On the revisit appointment, Doctor Weng told me everything is healing very nicely. I am so happy about this process. Now I wish I had two more teeth to pull (just kidding!!!)

Front desk was friendly, the dental office/equipment looked modern, and the dentists were efficient. Each procedure was explained and front desk helped with scheduling and often notifying for upcoming appointments. So the reason why I stopped going... I had a filling redone due to it coming off. However, I had pain around the same tooth for months. I couldn't eat on that side at all. I went back in for checkups to see if they can figure out what's going on. The head dentist told me to consider getting a crown since there seems to be a cracking on the tooth. They offered to cover the costs however I thought it was a bit extreme to get a crown from a routine filling. Over the next couple months, I would go back multiple times since the pain didn't go away. This included shaving part of the filling, redoing the filling, and trying to figure out my bite. And the final time I went there for a checkup, I was just told it could just be a neurological thing and almost made it sound like it was my fault and they can't do anything about it. The only reason why I kept going back was to give them the opportunity to fix what they had messed up. I ended up looking for another dentist and I told them my issue. They were able to figure what was wrong, and redid my filling. Now I have no pain.

During the checkup, I asked about the condition of that root canal, and the new dentist praised the quality of the treatment I had received. Later, another dentist tried to redo the root canal on my pain-free tooth and encouraged me to continue treatment with him for other problematic teeth, but I lost trust. Now, facing new root canal issues, I truly hope to have the chance to see Dr. Huang again, even though he no longer works in my original city. I'm very grateful for their expertise and care!.
