The first time, there was confusion finding my booking, which caused delays. Today, it happened again. I was told there was a problem with their system, and instead of finding a solution, my appointment was simply canceled because they no longer had time to perform the service. What is particularly frustrating is the double standard. Customers are charged a $25 cancellation fee if they cancel, but when the salon cancels on a customer due to its own internal issues, all you get is a quick "sorry." There was very little effort made to resolve the situation, offer an alternative, or accommodate me in any meaningful way. To make matters worse, getting someone on the phone is nearly impossible, as calls often go unanswered. After two disappointing experiences, I no longer have confidence in this location's scheduling and customer service. I will be taking my myself elsewhere and would not recommend this location to anyone who values reliability and customer care.

She was late and double‑booked for my appointment time. The receptionist still had me wait and then, without even telling me, she placed me with a completely different stylist. I spent 10-15 minutes discussing my hair goals, sharing photos, and planning a future appointment, again, all under the assumption that I was speaking with the stylist I had intentionally selected. The stylist I was seated with never once clarified her identity, even when I showed her a photo of a hairstyle from the salon's website created by the stylist I originally booked. She never once said, that's not my work. When my appointment confirmation text came through, I noticed the name didn't match. I returned to the salon, and the receptionist told me, "Oh, I gave you to someone else since your stylist was late." WHAT?!!! And you didn't think to tell me??? To make matters worse, the stylist they switched me to has only been at the salon for a few months and isn't even being promoted on the salon's website, while the stylist I chose has years of experience -- a detail that mattered to me. At this point, I had lost all trust and confidence in the business practices of this salon - I canceled the appointment. Honesty, integrity, and communication are not Salon Cozzolino's strengths. This was a frustrating, misleading experience that left me feeling very deceived.

She came early and did her job well. The one star is because of the other artist who did not bring her makeup. Yes, you read that right. The makeup artist did not bring her makeup kit other than some foundation and setting spray. The experience was so poor it greatly outweighed any positives we experienced with the other artist. Rather than taking care of it herself, she went around asking two other makeup artists we hired from another company if she could use their makeup supplies. That created an uncomfortable environment because they were put in a difficult spot of rightfully not wanting to lend their professional supplies to a stranger, but also not wanting to make it a bigger scene on someone's wedding if they said no. I had to pause my own bridal makeup and hair session to try to find any makeup I had around my parent's house she could use. I think about an hour in was when she finally decided to Doordash some makeup when she should have done that the moment she realized she didn't bring her supplies. She started the first bridesmaid makeup at 7:30 and at 9:30 (which was our planned end time) she had still not finished. We moved onto the second bridesmaid's hair at 9:30 and that seemed to go a lot smoother luckily. When the Doordash order came, there was no lipstick because I guess the store was out of stock of the shade she chose. The makeup artist also did not seem to have much experience or perhaps she was so nervous that she could not do makeup the way she normally might because I heard them trying work on her eyeliner for about 20 minutes due to it repeatedly not coming out right and saw the makeup artist asking a lot of questions when most could probably be figured out just by looking at the makeup inspo picture. It was also uncomfortable that she went into detail about forgetting her makeup kit because she recently started seeing a doctor for ADHD and started new medication 1 month ago. I don't think this is something she needed to share with us. One of my bridesmaid said during her session several different TMI excuses were brought up as well. Ultimately, we left at 10:10am, 40 minutes later than planned, with one bridesmaid still unsatisfied with her makeup (we could not wait any longer) and the other bridesmaids uncomfortable with her lack of professionalism. I'm sure there were likely other things that went wrong. These are just the things I noticed as the bride who was busy getting her makeup and hair done myself. I did hear from a bridesmaid that we would not be getting charged for her services, but I did not hear this myself directly or received any communication from bfab about this experience.

I asked for a rounded haircut with lots of layers and face-framing pieces and I showed her my inspo photos as well. She first washed my hair and then got started on the cut. Yessenia did an amazing job! She was friendly and professional and gave me exactly what I requested. I wasn't sure whether to go with lighter or heavier curtain bangs/face-framing pieces, and she knew exactly what would suit me when she suggested sticking with lighter face framing. He just wanted it shorter around the ear- how could that be misunderstood??? It was a true emergency, because there was no way I would let my child go through the humiliation of going to school the next day like that. It was really THAT bad! I started dialing and hoping some kind person would understand and help us, but who would ever take someone after 8pm, and that was IF we could get someone to answer our call at 7:50pm. That is when i called Like salon, and this angel named Tracy answered and listened to our situation. It takes a very kind person to decide to help total strangers who were asking her to stay past closing time and take a brand new client, and that is the person Tracy is. We've all had a bad haircut at least once in our lives, but this was far worse, and it would take a very experienced person to somehow salvage what was left of my child's hair, and cut it into something that looked at least like a normal haircut. We knew it would mean having to cut all the gorgeous locks off that took over a year to grow, but seriously, there was no other way. Still, Tracy was able to transform a nightmare into a dream, and while the long hair was gone, the end result was a very smart style that will grow out well. It is quite attractive, and while my child was still inconsolable over losing all that hair, what a life saver Tracy was, and I can only imagine how gorgeous my child's hair will be as we continue to see her to shape it while it grows out again. So heart warming to find a kind, empathetic human being l, and what incredible luck we had in finding her. Thank you Tracy!
