Darci does amazing work. I was referred to her from a friend and she was able to make me bright blonde again. I love it.

Sofia is so great I don't think I've ever felt more comfortable and safe in a hair salon chair! She…read moreactually listens to you and asks the right questions...she knows what she's doing and is straight forward! Going to her made me realize just how few hair stylists will actually listen to your actual concerns and wants. I have very fine loose curls and never really knew how ask for a haircut that both suits my hair type and fits what I wanted...and Sofia figured that out for me with a few simple questions! I've been to places that will absolutely just kind of look at my hair and make up their own rules lol...I've been traumatized by a stylist in the past basically telling me that they were going to do what they wanted to my hair because they knew what they would look good (they did not). The entire experience was just pleasant. I got a haircut I actually liked, felt listened to, had good hair care suggestions (not forced purchases), and had a good conversation! I don't think I've had any of those at a hair salon in years.

This was one of the worst hair experiences I've ever had. I arrived to the salon and the stylist…read moreturned around, didn't say hi, didn't introduce herself, didn't ask my name - nothing. Just looked at the chair for me to sit. Reluctantly, I stayed and told her I had basically a long pixie cut last year so naturally it has grown out uneven (to be expected) I requested a blunt slightly a line bob to even things out more with the ultimate goal of growing out my hair. She immediately told me I couldn't do this because my hair wasn't wavy like the reference photo, and if I want to grow my hair out, we shouldn't cut that much off..... I said okay, let's just to a trim into a normal bob then. Without any rhyme or reason, she starts chopping my hair. No technique used or anything. She does a few aggressive chops and claims that it's good and even. I tell her no, my left side of my hair is long than my right....she goes back and imaginary measures the length needed to cut, and somehow, makes it worse. At this point, I knew nothing would fix it and it is now way more uneven than before. Paying $90 for this is insane. I'm currently on my way to a different salon to get it fixed ADD ON: Idk what you mean represent the appointment accurately. I never asked for a pixie cut, I stated that I had gotten one a year ago and it grew out to be uneven (expected). I also didn't say I "wanted to keep my hair long" I said I wanted to grow it out after this. Regardless, my end result looked nothing like any reference photo. With or without references, the end result is crazy and embarrassing that you'd let a client leave like this.

I had just gotten back from…read moregetting my hair done in Korea, and I wanted to find a place that could also do a similar style. I made an appointment with JC, and he was really kind and knowledgeable about Asian hairstyles! I would highly recommend his services.

Before the haircut, I clearly explained that I had just gotten my hair cut at another salon two…read moredays earlier and that I wasn't looking for a completely new haircut--I only wanted some adjustments to achieve the style shown in the photos of me before. I specifically asked if the stylist understood the issue and knew what needed to be done, and I was assured that they did. Unfortunately, once the haircut started, there was no communication about how much hair would be removed. The very first cut on the sides was much shorter than I expected, and at that point there was no way to undo it. If the stylist had explained their approach or confirmed the length with me first, I would have had the opportunity to say that it wasn't what I wanted. What disappointed me most wasn't just the final result--it was the lack of communication. When a customer brings reference photos and asks questions beforehand, I expect the stylist to explain the plan and make sure we're aligned before making irreversible changes. I left feeling that my concerns and the reference photos were not really taken into account. I hope the salon can improve communication with customers in the future so others don't have the same experience.
