She tested positive for covid. Doctor wouldn't prescribe her anything. I asked if he could at least give her prednisone for her throat. Shook his head and said "Nope. Not giving her anything. Just go home after after about 5 days she'll be better." The rest of the conversation went like this: "If you gave her monoclonal antibodies would they help her covid?" "She's not a candidate for that." "Ok. But would they help?" "I'm not going to prescribe that to her." "But would they help?" "I already told you that I'm not giving that to her." "Yea, I know. But would they help her." "Yes. They'd help. But I'm not prescribing them." Left the hospital, called a family member doctor out of state, prescribed her prednisone, her throat felt much better 15 min. later. Go to this lousy hospital at your own risk. If you do, hopefully you won't get this jackass doctor.

I have been having serious health issues for the past couple of weeks and since my primary care couldn't get in to see me, I chose to go to urgent care, even though y'all's your is closer and more convenient and prior to the certain doctor was always amazing. But the past three times I've been there have made me never want to see a doctor again in my life. The urgent care to go to the ER because my problems were too serious for them to treat. She even sent an email over to the Baptist ER to let them know that I was coming and I needed to be treated Now. I drove straight there I checked in. I was taken back right away. The nurse was super nice. I gave her all of my medication list all of my symptoms and as soon as she walked out the door, Dr. Freeman walked in. And I felt my heart race and I suffer from panic disorder. I started to have a panic attack. She is an absolutely awful doctor and I can never go to this Baptist ER again cause I can't trust that she'll be there or not. I'm a chronic pain patient. I'm established with the pain management doctor. I have an outstanding record with them. I don't drink or do drugs. I take my medicine as prescribed. Dr. Freeman walked in the room and didn't say hi. We're introduced herself or look at all the paperwork with all of my symptoms right behind her, she walked up to the bed and said what do you want? What can we do for you today. Which is absolutely ridiculous. The symptoms that I am still having are very scary and I'll be going to a different ER tomorrow, but I also made a post on the next-door app about Dr. Freeman and it's trending because there's so many people who have been treated by her and never wanna go there again. My sister and her husband have gone there and dealt with her and been treated the same way from now on I'll be going to Stone Oak Hospital. That way I won't be shamed for the health issues that I have. And also before I could even explain to Dr. Freeman, what was happening and what was going on She had written down how many pain meds that I had been prescribed this year and picked up and I said it's a good thing. I don't want pain medication from you then. And I asked for the paper to leave against doctors orders. And I will never be back to this hospital. She's a terrible doctor. She's prejudice. She's unapproachable. She's completely unprofessional. And she doesn't listen. She's just not a nice person to be a doctor and there for someone looking for help and as I can see on the rest of the reviews it seems Dr. Freeman has mentioned a lot in a negative light. Don't see anything positive about her. But I will be calling to get her information to report her to the medical board. This is gone on too long.

The only reason I am giving this practice a 2-star rating is because I like the doctor; however,…read morethe staff is very lacking. They are loud and unprofessional and do not know how to properly book appointments. You are never seen at your scheduled appointment time--appointments consistently run 30+ minutes late. If appointments were being scheduled correctly, this would not happen so often. They also frequently make mistakes when booking appointments. On more than one occasion, my appointment was scheduled with the wrong person, which meant I could not be seen as planned. The waiting room is nicely decorated, but it is not pleasant to sit in because the staff talks loudly about happy hour, food, and other personal topics, laughing so loudly that it becomes ridiculous. It took three attempts--wasting a significant amount of my time--to have a lab sample properly collected and submitted. The first visit was booked with the wrong person. The second time, they claimed there was an error in the paperwork and had to collect the sample again. I then had to return a third time for the specimen collection to finally be completed by the nurse. They also do not answer the phones when you call regarding prescription refills. Instead, you are required to leave a voicemail and are told it may take up to 72 hours for the refill to be authorized. I followed this process and never received a response. When I called back to follow up, I was told there was no record of my request, which suggests the voicemail messages are not being checked or are simply being deleted. If you have a lot of time to waste and don't mind sitting in a noisy office, you may be fine. Otherwise, beware.

She was refused service for arriving TWO minutes past "cut-off" time, despite having attempted to call and notify the office multiple times that she would be late due to unexpected construction/traffic (she was only able to leave a message, which they ignored). The receptionist and head nurse were rude and even laughed at my mother's situation. The other two receptionists were blithely talking on what appeared to be personal calls. There was only one family in the waiting room. DO NOT see this practice if you are looking for a professional, caring medical staff. My mother has lived in San Antonio for 31 years and has never experienced this kind of a horrific experience. I am praying that she gets the medical help she needs, since now she can't find anybody who will see her before the New Year. What a travesty and a disgrace. Beware.
