Also, Cat did an awesome job when I first got my piercings with my boyfriend, he now has a nostril ring and I have a vertical labret which we got done about 3 years ago on our first Christmas together. Both have healed wonderfully, especially given the sensitive area mine is in. And mind you, I STRUGGLED to take my jewelry off, I used gloves, bare *washed* hands, and even a paper towel to try and take off my previous bar and when it was switched, it was so effortless and painless, I almost didn't tell when the retainer went in. Barbella studios is kind enough to let you know when a piercing won't work (was advised that a brow piercing is a no-go but the vertical labret was perfect), humorous when they give you aftercare advice so you'll for sure remember, and most importantly are clean, careful, and mindful for their client's safety and budget. Getting pierced by a professional will range widely in price no matter where you go, but with their experience, advice, cleanliness, and support, just know you can never go wrong with this studio. The jewelry turned out to be a smidge too big. Considering I saved up to pay over $100 and left a $10 tip, I assumed they'd want to help me out and have a happy customer. They were condescending and said the best they could do was 15% off a new one (from an already limited stock) or I could "email the owner." After hearing how emotional the situation was making me, I was told they'd call the owner. When I tried to follow up, they just hung up on me without saying anything. Three times. So professional! The fact they mention how many happy customers they have in the review replies is so backhanded and defensive and *unprovable*. If you have lots of happy customers, you don't need to bring it up as defense for customers that aren't happy--that is just invalidating client experiences. The replies to any negative reviews tell you a lot! lol ETA reply: I never asked you to take the jewelry back and was clear about that.
